This property owner has taken pains to lovingly keep important features of the 19^th century construction: He exposed the old wooden ceiling beams and has even exposed the rock wall on one side of the place, to ensure lots of oozing charm and authenticity.

This is the heart of the 7^th arrondissement, where you will walk out of your door to find yourself surrounded not only by great bakeries, cafes, restaurants, shops, chocolate shops, etc…. but also have the Eiffel Tower to gaze at, right down the street! It really is quite a spectacular view from your doorstep, and so easy to walk to it and many other places of interest nearby.

Your metro station is la Tour Maubourg and is only a 4 minute walk, the Invalides area with its War Museums and Napoleon’s Tomb is only about 10 minutes away, as is the river Seine, with the Grand and Petite Palais only a few minutes stroll across the most beautiful bridge- Pont Alexander III. And of course rue Cler awaits you with the Farmers’ Market style abundance of fruit and vegetable stands and more cafes and more bakeries (luckily you will always be walking in Paris!).

The apartment has a separate bedroom with a queen size bed, a living room with a sofa sleeper that is also queen size, a kitchen just off the living room (see below for amenities) and the bathroom with large shower and WC, which is accessed via the bedroom. One of its best features is how very quiet it is, with double paned windows (actually “ triple paned!). It is on the first floor (up one floor) stairs only (no elevator).
