Comments:It was a lovely apartment. A wee bit tight for four adults, one child. There is a lot of street noise, day and night. A warning: there is no elevator so bring small suitcases. The woman that met us and gave us the key was charming and helpful (can't remember her name). Entry with the keys was a struggle until you got the hang of it. Some of our party never did. We would rent this again were it not so expensive.

Comments:This apartment was so unique and had so much historic charm. I loved that the windows opened to the street below - great for listening to the activity outside, mostly people (not many cars), musicians, and the occasional church bells. Stores, metros, banks, cafes are all nearby on the island or you can venture off and explore paris. I really loved this apartment!

Comments:The only problem we had were the locks to get into the stairwell?hard to maneuver and hallway was very dark.

Comments:This was the perfect place for our family to stay. Very central, very comfortable. We were there in early June and the weather was cool, so we did not need to have the windows open at night. It is possible that with the windows open there would have been a lot of noise from the street, because we noticed in the morning when we opened the windows it was pretty lively. However with the windows closed is was silent. We never heard anyone from surrounding apartments. The entire rental experience was great and it was helpful for us to know we were renting from a company rather than an individual - although others in our party rented from individuals and had fine experiences.

Comments:As two women in Paris we felt very safe.and would definitely go back again. We felt very much part of the neighborhood.
