Comments:Only one bedside lamp worked and we decided not to buy a bulb and used only one which was not really convenient. Perhaps these things should be checked when a cleaning service is done. Note the light fitting in the bedroom looks like it is falling apart - wires / cables hanging out. Suggest this is updated. The bathroom does smell of mould but there are no windows so that is to be expected. Otherwise good. What might be nice in the lounge area would be a lamp so that you do not need all the overhead lights on at night, just a single lamp would do. The noise from people exiting the nightclub is quite rowdy at times. We needed to close the window a few times during the night then reopen to let air in. The noise though is intermittent so not a huge concern. Great apartment in a really great location.

Comments:We loved it. Superb location. Well priced. The apartment is much smaller than it appears on the internet photos (due to one whole wall being mirror glass). Care needed to exit the tiny bathroom as there is a significant step down. The apartment is very French. Even though there is a nightclub opposite, we didn't find outside noise a problem. However, a gentleman on the phone at 1am in the apartment next to the bedroom kept us awake for 30 minutes.

Comments:Similar to other comments we noted about this property, it can be noisy from the bar across the street on weekends. We had ear plugs and that helped. The other nights it was very quiet. A couple minor things - the towels in the bathroom could use replacement and it would be helpful to have another chair in the living room. And the entry foyer to the building was a bit shabby which surprised us. All that said, we quite liked the apartment and would stay there again! The neighborhood is wonderful, with restaurants, bakeries, and other specialty food shops closeby. It is also in a great location with easy access to a bunch of nearby sites and transportation. We loved it! And the vacation rental staff were all extremely helpful and pleasant to work with as we planned our trip. It was a great experience! The people I communicated with (spoke to or email) in your office throughout the reservation process were all extremely pleasant and very helpful! It was a joy to work wtih all of you! A couple other things about the apartment: we were cold the whole time we were there. It is our fault for not calling the manager but we were ok enough and didn't want to take the time (and the blankets were all very warm) but there is no info on how to work the heat whatsoever (and it was 60-70 outside at the time so...I am not sure what was going on). We are all quite mobile and agile but that bathroom was very tiny and involved a step up that could be a challenge for some people so you might want to let people know. Also, overall the apartment was very clean but I felt the bathroom could have been a bit cleaner and used some new towels. But that would not stop us from going back and I am about to recommend this apartment to someone we know who is going to Paris! Thank you!

Our kids loved it, the decor, and the very comfortable futon, and my husband and I really appreciated the wine and the close proximity to restaurants and markets as well as, of course, the Louvre!! We want to go back!!!! The hallway going into the building was very dark and a little scary because if it- that was out only issue at all

Comments:The street is noisy at night which didn't bother us too much except on Fri and Sat nights when the Irish Pub bar across the street was in full throat until very late. It was bothersome by 1:00 AM. The location of this apartment is excellent. We walk or Metro everywhere and it is very easy to get started towards the day's first destination from here. The letter you all sent before we left here explaining the "house rules" had us worried that we'd do something wrong and be subject to a Monetary fine. I went over it with Christian and she pretty much pooh-poohed the whole thing, and said she'd never seen the thing. You can run the washer dryer at any time. It takes a while but not the 4 to 6 hours listed in the letter. There are no noise problems in the building. As noted, it's all outside on the street. The keys are very easy to keep up with and at her direction we left them all in the apt and just pulled the door shut when we left. All in all, another great visit to the City of Lights.

Comments:The bedroom needs better blinds, or curtains to cover the blinds. It was very light at night. Curtains would also help muffle the noise from the street and bar/hotel opposite. We didn't expect no noise at all from such a great, central location, but a bit less light and noise would be great. Kitchen needs a wine bottle opener!

Comments:We only really had two minor complaints. 1) There was no fan in the apt., and it was extremely hot while we were there. But, we did call the property owner and she brought one over that day. 2) There were mice in the kitchen. This was a bit disconcerting, but we survived! Overall, this was still a fantastic experience and we would do it again in a heart beat! The location couldn't be beat (although, the price you pay for that is noise on the street at night). As long as the windows were shut, it wasn't an issue. However, in the heat of the summer (July), you had to sleep with them open and that was a bit difficult.

Comments:Nice sized apartment in excellent location - close to fantastic bakery, fruit and veg shop, many bistros and close to several metro locations which made getting around Paris very easy. Apartment had good facilities in the kitchen - although dishwasher almost falls out onto your feet as is not secure in its cupboard which isn't very satisfactory. There was an issue with the hot water in the kitchen but we were able to work it using the instructions given. Main bedroom is a good size, and there is a double fold out bed in the living room which can sleep another couple if required. Pillows are not good - too flat. APartment building itself is very secure and quiet - no problems at all. Good fast internet wi-fi and complimentary use of phone to make local calls which was helpful for confirming reservations etc.

Comments:I used the kitchen a lot, and it would have been helpful for me to have access to a tiny broom to keep the kitchen clean...There may have been one there, but I didn't see one, and forgot to ask. Ultimately it's not a big deal. In the winter, a toaster oven might be nice so that you can do some light roasting/baking...but again- I'm a cook. Even without a toaster-oven, I would still rent this apartment again-we just loved it and its proximity to everything we wanted to enjoy! We had a lovely stay. This was a great neighborhood for us, and the apartment was perfect for our family- 2 kids 11 & 7 and us. There was sufficient space.

Comments:We loved the apartment and particularly its location. It was so close to everything, and the apartment had everything that we needed for our family. We easily walked to the shops, the louvre, the Notre Dame., St Eustache church and the left bank. We also loved the neighbourhood. It had so many useful shops and we felt quite safe their even late at night. We also thought that it was a good price for our facilities and the location. My kids loved it. They thought that the couch was very comfortable and they loved the clock - it was quite a fascinating digital clock. The beds were also comfortable. The only thing for me was that I had real trouble sleeping in the bedroom. The blinds did not effectively cover the whole window and the street light was right outside our window. So this meant that our bedroom was always light, and I really had trouble sleeping with the light. I thought that blackout curtains would really help. Also when people spoke in the apartment next door, the walls were so thin that we heard their conversations very clearly. Unfortunately, our neighbours were quite talkative late at night and they did wake us up.

Everything is right downstairs from Apt: Bakery, Deli, Fruit Stand. We fell in Love w Paris. We traveled w 2 young kids (2 & 4) and we all enjoyed our time. My only suggestion (& this was partly my doing) When you tell clients to take RER train to Chatelet Halles, emphisis that if you exit Roule or Berger - you are less than 5 minutes from apartment. I google mapped the apartment and it made it sound that I would walk 1/2 hour to get to apartment.

Comments:This is probably a critique of European linens! We slept with what seems to be a fitted sheet on top, which is opposite of what we are used to. Additionally, the mattress pad is what seems to keep the body heat, as opposed to covers that we are accustomed to. We would have liked a few more towels in the bathroom. Seating arrangements were ok, but an additional seating spot would have been helpful, given that there were four of us. The street was noisy on Saturday night--the night of our arrival--but was quieter on other nights, sometimes not noticeable. We preferred to be in an active neighborhood than a quiet one anyway! The location was excellent--six minutes to the Louvre, fifteen to Notre Dame, four to a Metro stop, and a very nice neighborhood for simply walking around. (Which, by the way, we did at all hours of the day and night, and always felt comfortable and safe.) Overall, we were VERY satisfied with this rental arrangement, and plan to first check with your company for future trips to Paris. (1) There are several grocery stores nearby, but we didn't find the best one (two blocks away, on Rue Berger--it it a Monoprix?) until three days before we left. We should have recorded this in the handbook. (2) The previous renters did not notify you that the television cable box was broke. Christel thought they misprogrammed it, but after a couple of days of no success, we called Christel and asked for it to be fixed. It ended up needing to be replaced. Thus, we had five days without a television set, not a big problem by any means as we had plenty of other things to do and television watching was not why we were in Paris. But, it would have been helpful if the previous renters told you about the problem. How should they have done that? Should there be a repair form that renters need to complete? (3) You didn't ask about the reservation system. The assistant was very friendly, very helpful, and very informative. And, the communications that we received from your company were thorough and complete. That was especially helpful, given this was our first apartment rental with any company. We were very pleased with the entire reservation process.

Comments:This apartment is in the most wonderful French neighborhood ever! It is truly like what I would expect from a storybook with cute little specialty food shops lining the neighborhood street, yet you are just one block from a major street and about 5 minutes from subways and the Seine. It is a very easy walk to the Louvre, Notre Dame, etc. we even walked to the Dorsay. I just cannot say enough about this location. This was my fourth Paris trip, and I have never been in such an idyllic setting. This area near Pont Neuf bridge is Paris at its best!
