She arranged for our laundry to be done as the washing machine was out of order,and this was much appreciated. The coffee machine was an added bonus. I was disappointed that we couldn't stay loner. Comments:Though small, the kitchen was well equipped for a short stay - we found everything we needed! The only problem we had was with the diabolical toaster that shocked you if you touched any part of the metal frame while in use. An upgrade to both the toaster and a standard drip coffee pot would be nice. A few throw pillows on the sleeper couch to put behind your back would make it much more comfortable to sit- We have used VIP many times over the past 12+ years and will continue to do so. I think that usually i found a map of Paris in the apartments that i have rented in the past. Didn't see one this time. Also, no information on where to take the trash and recyclables. A few more decorations might have made the apartment a bit less austere. Can't wait until next year!!

The bed was super comfortable (very important). The kitchen was clean and well equipped for making coffee and toast. The view was spectacular.!Could see Montmarte from our living room window on a clear day and at night all lit up.

Comments:The elevator was out of order until our last day (if you can believe the luck!), so it was sometimes difficult making the climb with groceries and purchases after walking all over Paris all day but we managed just fine. The apartment was also in need of a good dusting -- there was quite a dust build up on the TV credenza, for example. Not a dealbreaker and it certainly wasn't terrible, but thought it was worth mentioning. Otherwise, everything was wonderful. We loved the quiet location and being near the Metro, Rodin and Invalides, Rue Cler, etc. We lived like locals for two weeks and enjoyed every minute of it. It was truly a magical Christmas in Paris! The one amenity we've made great use of in other rental properties and sorely missed this time was a market cart. Those things are so handy and I think it would be a wise (and not costly) investment for the owners to make for the apartment. We visited the market almost every day, and it would've been such a help if we could've rolled a cart with our purchases rather than carrying around a bunch of individual bags -- especially when it came to climbing those stairs! It's literally the only thing we found to be missing from the apartment amenities -- everything else was perfect. So please consider adding one and we'll be happy repeat customers. :) Thanks!

The location is perfect, the apartment feels like home, and there is comfort in knowing if we should need anything, Tania is very quick to respond and lend assistance! Perfect place to enjoy all this wonderful city has to offer......

Comments:The tiny kitchen is very efficient and we didn't seem to lack for much. We did not find a regular coffee maker as was listed but just the Nespresso machine (which we didn't attempt to use as we are plain black coffee drinkers) and the electric kettle. It would be a good idea for an electrician to check the electrical setup in the kitchen as we both received shocks from touching something in the kitchen. We enjoyed our stay in this apt. very much and would choose this property again. Although you can't see the gold dome of les Invalides unless you stick your head out the window and look left, we were enchanted with the view of Avenue de Breteuil which included a lovely large grassy area. The 2 metal chairs shown in the living room now have cushions which are a great plus for comfort. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was great and the tiny kitchen well thought out. We are already talking about renting this apt. again. Thank you to VIP for another great stay as this was our 5th time renting from you. Merci Beaucoup!

Comments:Many apartment have inside views of just other buildings. Not this one! Open the windows wide and see Invalide, lovely park and trees below you and in the distance Sacre Coeur in Montmartre. Wonderful Thur/Sat local market a 5 min walk, as well as Rue Cler,5 min. as well.All transportation that you need for anywhere in the city is a 1 minute to 10 minute walk. Totally recommend. Any chance to dress it up with some decals (Eiffel tower?)some pictures?? Oh could I do a number on that apartment. My decorating skills were screaming to be heard. I understand it is a rental but even cheapo pictures would add the warmth. Pictures taken or stolen by someone? Bye bye $150 deposit!😀

Comments:Kitchen a little small, but adequate. All the necessary appliances. Took a little while to find everything. For the length of my stay, would have liked more towels. Using the television was problematic, since the directions had not been since the switch of equipment and cable service. Had a little difficulty with the key to the apartment door on two occasions. The first time, without another key to try, I was in a panic. After that, I also took the in=house key with me whenever I left. Overall, a wonderful experience. Liked the apartment very much. The shower is absolutely wonderful!

We hope to return again soon and would definitely choose to stay in this apartment again!!

Comments:The property was outstanding in every way and I would not hesitate to rent it again. My only concern was the nose emanating from the large, grassy expanse beneath the windows at night. It appeared that demonstrations were being held on the grassy area that began in early evening and continued into the early morning hours. We thought it would occur only on Friday and Saturday night, but also happened Sunday night. Loud speakers were used, so even ear plugs could not block the sound. I am thoroughly impressed with VIP and have already recommended the company to many friends. I plan to rent another apartment (maybe two) next spring. Comments:Perfect size for two adults and two teenagers. Loved the windows that opened out onto views of the grassy esplanade of Avenue de Breteuil, great for people watching. A peek out of the windows allowed a view of Napoleon's tomb and Montmartre's Sacre Coeur in the distance as well. Kitchen was well equipped and the right size for meals in, including wonderful treats from the Picard (frozen food chain) on Rue de Grenelle. Conveniently located between two different metro lines for easy access all over Paris. Elevator made hauling luggage up and down an easy task. Enjoyed dining at the Le Vauban restaurant downstairs. Planning our next trip, and hope this apartment will be available again. This is our second rental with VIP, and once again our stay was perfect. Comments:Guests should not be expected to find towels (upon arrival) in the washer/dryer and/or be expected to continue the dry cycle if the towels are not dry. The ironing board is too small. There is plenty of closet space to store a standard sized ironing board. Apartment instruction book needs to be updated (re-typed) as the hand written notes are difficult to read. However, all notes are very helpful. We arrived at night and had difficulty locating the lobby light switches. It would help if a note was included with the arrival information. Besides the minor points made above, we had a wonderful Honeymoon stay (14 nights) and was disappointed that we had to leave. In addition the restaurant down stairs is as wonderful as all the previous guests had reviewed (and I did not hear English spoken at all by the restaurants guests). Vacation in Paris are the best! Comments:My daughter and I agree that our stay in Apt. 241 was flawless. The apartment was exactly as pictured on the internet with no surprises whatsoever. The bed and the sofa bed were super comfy. The bathroom was immaculate with a great shower. We were extremely pleased with everything; the location, the building, the neighborhood, the proximity to transportation, not to mention the delicious bakery that is on the way to the metro station. Comments:The apartment was in a great location and in excellent shape. The kitchen is tiny but functional. I couldn't use both burners of the stove with a medium sized pot and large frying pan at the same time, but we made it work. The kitchen could use a decent chef's knife and bread knife. There were just small paring and steak knives. Otherwise, it was well equipped. The bed was comfortable (even the pullout, according to my daughter). We loved the excellent boulangerie down the street, too.

Comments:The apartment was good value for money in Paris. There were a few small issues - the light above the table did not work, and one of the lights above the bathroom sink did not work, shower door off track, etc. While they did not impact the visit too much, they need to be fixed. As well, the living room sofa bottom keeps sliding out, making the sofa uncomfortable. If you would like a complete list of deficiencies, we could send them to you. Just so you know, the elevator was not working the morning of our departure.... There should be an easier way of shipping the keys back to the US. When en route in Europe, this is difficult. We had to navigate the streets of Naples, Italy by car to do this. This is not an easy or safe feat!!

Comments:When we arrived the towels were still in the washing machine and then we had to hang them to dry. The intense smell of bleach in the apartment was overwhelming when we first arrived. The washer/dryer was listed as an amenity but there were no instructions on how to use it. Overall the apartment was very comfortable and we loved the location. The internet instructions in the apartment book need a some updating.

Comments:a small point: the door to the flat was very heavy and a bit difficult to open (push in) until we got the knack. it's also possible that humidity caused it to stick. a lovely neighbourhood that is quiet and attractive. lot's of restaurants with set price menus. we didn't haver a bad meal. the metro stops were conveniently close by.

Comments:Overall we very satisfied with an apt rental ( usually stay at 'boutique' type hotels). The location was very good for both touring and shopping. The metro was readily available but we usually walked due to the central location. If I was forced to be picky, I had to substitute the couch cushion for the bed pillow as the pillow was too large and hard. I left a DVD film (secam) to start an apt library :)

Comments:I absolutely loved my apartment! It was the perfect size in a great location. I love to cook, so it was ideal for me to have a fully equipped kitchen and a wonderful pedestrian market within walking distance. (My only comment was that I could have used a chef's knife for chopping.) It was also very convenient to have a washing machine as well as an iron and ironing board. The location was very good too. I liked being close to the lively St. Germain district, but being able to come home to a safe and quiet neighborhood. At the end of a busy day, it felt like a peaceful place to call "home." I always slept well to, as the bed was quite comfortable! Overall, I felt this apartment was an outstanding value, and I will definitely be returning next year. I am in love with Paris, and this is the perfect location from which to enjoy all the city has to offer. The only other thing I can think of is to say thank you for the link to the shuttle service. I used this service for my return trip, and will use their service from now on. For 20 euros, it is a great value, and so much easier than the Roissybus + taxi, which I used on arrival.

Comments:I gave the beds a 7 as they were a bit hard. The kitchen received a 6 as the dishwasher will shock you if you touch the inside of the door with wet hands and should be looked at. Also, better knives (French chef's knife and a bread knife) would be nice as well as a larger size drinking glass. Currently there are only 3 paring type knives. Also, the house book should provide better directions to use the washer/dryer. The book really just directed you to the closest laundromat and did not provide any directions in using the washer/dryer, whereas every other appliance had detailed and specific directions in its use. All in all, for a European apt, this was really "super equipped" and very delightful. We really enjoyed our stay and the condition of the apt and the location were superb. I really enjoyed the apartment and plan on using your company for my next trip to Paris. The main reasons I chose your company was that I could pay in US $ ahead of time and that I had the keys ahead of time. Your outstanding recommendations on various websites (tripadvisor.com, etc.) also was a factor in choosing your company.

Comments:Our Paris experience was definitely enhanced by this lovely apartment; nothing was lacking really. We loved the neighbourhood - it was so beautiful and quiet, yet so very close to restaurants, etc. And to be so close to Dome Des Invalides was just wonderful; each evening after a hard day's sightseeing, we called in to Cafe le Vauban for a refreshing glass (or two!) of wine. The apartment is definitely recommended! Also helpful was the English speaking taxi driver on our departure for Charles de Gaulle. WE can't wait to return!!!

Comments:We did have a slight accident with the rather fragile Ikea floor lamp with it's paper shade, I bumped into it while trying to get the comforter off the bed, and tore the shade, luckily it did not cost much!
