Comments:The apartment is spotlessly clean in a quiet building, up 2 easy sets of stairs. It is more than big enough for 2 people, and could comfortably sleep 4 on the 2 futon couches. The neighborhood is relatively quiet with a market street very nearby. The Metro stop is only a couple of blocks away. A visiting couple next door said they rent the same apartment each time they visit Paris because they love the neighborhood and the building. Staying in the apartment gave us a much better Paris experience than staying in a hotel. My daughter loved going to the various shops to get items for meals to make at "home." The whole rental process through Vacation in Paris was very easy and instructions were very clear. I wish you operated in more cities!

Having a kitchen was a desire of mine, so it was so nice to have the facilities to cook if I wanted. Every step of renting this apartment was a pleasure. I would/will rent from Vacation in Paris the next time I have the opportunity to visit Paris.

Comments:We thought the lack of privacy because we didn't have curtains or a sheer lower curtain was a problem. A beggar stationed himself ,daily, right across the street and we could not raise the shades in the morning. The pub noise wasn't too bad- but we used ear plugs. I imagine that the apartment gets very hot in the summer and it would mean opening the windows and hearing the noise and having the smoke enter the living space. The shower stall is extremely slippery! Very dangerous! The washing machine pump is very loud. We wondered if it was in need of a repair. We will use VIP again. Very pleased with the service .

Comments:The apartment was fine. I think it only fair that you tell people it is located above a bar. The noise didn't bother us, but the smoke was bad. People have to smoke outside the bar so the smell comes right up to the apartment - ugh. It's just a shame that a bar is downstairs. When I originally googled this, it showed a shop below. Otherwise, the location was terrific!

Comments:Noise from bar below but not enough to complain about, Arrived and apartment keys were not in mail box, called Gregory and he came within 10 minutes to let us in, Heater stoped working called gregory and he came immediately to fix it. Comments:The apartment was lovely and we appreciated being in such a great location!!! It was everything I had anticipated and suited all our needs. We enjoyed the ambience and would have no problem recommending this apartment to anyone who was looking for a place to call "home" while on vacation in Paris. There was a bit of noise from the street below, however, we did not find this an annoyance. In our opinion, it provided a sense of the "joie de vivre" in Paris. Thank you and we look forward to our next holiday as we know we just skimmed the surface and need to return.

Comments:Linens for one of the two fold out beds were not the correct size. Would probably be a good time to replace bed linens. As I also read from other renter comments, the door lock mechanism was very tricky to figure out. It took us probably 10 minutes to open the apartment door the first time. after we figured it out, it wasn't a problem. Specific commentary regarding Vacation In Paris: From my initial contact via the web, phone conversations with representatives, documentation mailed, instructions for rental, and return of keys, I can't say enough about the professionalism and service provided. I rate the service you provide as flawless and would use you again in a heartbeat! As a matter of fact, I hope you expand beyond Paris and London. You will be my prefered provider in any market you enter. Great customer service! Super efficient! Your team seems to really enjoy their jobs. One word about the service....WOW!

Comments:We were very impressed at the level of service provided by VIP which worked very efficiently. We loved the apartment and the general neighbourhood and loved being part of the local community. The surrounding area is full of cafes and fresh produce shops which were fantastic. There was excessive noise however from the Irish Pub downstairs until around 1am each morning and this is the main reason we are reluctant to recommend the apartment to our friends.

Comments:My only issue was the street noise. Apt. is located above a pub and it got very noisy in the evenings. I'm a light sleeper so this was a bit of a problem. With the windows closed it was very warm and stuffy. Fortunately, the owner provided a fan, which saved us! I would recommend this place with reservation because of the noise issue. I gave an "8" for information received from VIP staff because there was incorrect info about the subway to RER B connection to the airport. Metro line 8 (starting from La Tour-Mouborg) doesn't stop at Chatelet/Les Halles as the info indicates. Fortunately, I double checked. We had to take the #8 to Invalides to get the RER C, which then connected us to the RER B at Saint Michel.

Comments:The apartment was lovely- clean, spacious, very welcoming. The bar downstairs was quite loud in the evening, but we learned to tune it out. The neighborhood was delightful, everything we needed within a short walk. Our one complaint was that the shower drain did not work very well. Even when taking short showers (5-6 minutes) the drain seemed clogged and prone to filling up the shower. This was the case from the first day of our stay. It was merely an inconvenience, though, not a major problem. Other than that, our arrival info was great and getting into the apartment was a breeze- the washer instructions were also very thorough and we were able to do a little bit of laundry during our stay! I found out about your apartment services from TripAdvisor.com- some folks in the forums recommended you highly! And they were right. :)

Comments:We love this apartment. It is perfect for my girl friend and I. The 2 single beds suit us very well, the beds are quite comfortable. The bathroom is very clean and the shower works well with same standard as in the States. The apt has everything we needed in the kitchen to reheat the food. The location is just superb! It is right next to rue Le Cler. We have restaurants, patisseries, boulangeries with fresh bread in the morning, the markets with fresh fruits, ..... it is also next to the metro station. Very convenient location ! I also want to complement the service of your company. Your company provides an excellent service. You are very professional, very thorough and very accommodating to your clients. Excellent, Rated A+ ! There are 2 things about the apt I would like to suggest. The first thing is that the TV doesn't have many stations. You can't get CNN or other stations which would interested american toursits. The second thing is that the key to the front door is very difficult to open. You should have somebody show us how to open the key. Once , we were stuck outside the door for 1 hour trying to open the door. We had to ring the door bell of the neighbor. He was very kind to open the door for us, and he said that it happened a lot that people asked him. Hope you can fix these 2 things.

Comments:The apartment was fine, but it was extremely noisy so I am not sure if I would stay there again or recommend it. Also it is a full 2 to 2 1/2 flights of steps. We were told 1 1/2 flights of steps. Carrying luggage up and down was difficult for us. The information book in the apartment was very helpful. However we never did figure out the beds and what the striped coverlet was for. Great towels!

Comments:There was a lot of noise from the outside (so we answered honestly), and there is a bar downstairs, but this is to be expected in a big city, and it would not stop me from renting, again. The shower had a tiny bit of "scum" in it and probably could have used a good scrubbing. Also, the couch/beds had a musty smell and also could probably use a deep cleaning. Other than that, the cleanliness was great- the apartment was very cute and the neighborhood was outstanding- I can't imagine a better one to stay in with the family. There is a view of the Eiffel Tower's lights at night.

The only thing we would really like if we are able to come back, is some sheer curtains in the windows, so that we can have the windows open, have the light and fresh air coming in, but not feel like we are in a fishbowl as we lie on the bed and lounge around the apartment. Comments:We slept with the windows closed and the noise of the street was minimal. I came with an old friend from High School (from many years ago..) and we bought our food rue Cler most of the time. The choice of restaurants is great also. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. I hope to be able to come back in the same studio next year... I definitely recommend this studio for 2 adults. It might be a little small for a family... The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The metro is 5 minutes away and there are buses very cloe by. In summer, with the windows opened... you hear the noises of the street... but it is Paris...

Comments:There was only loud noise outside the building on some evenings from the restaurant on the ground floor which did not run late. Otherwise there was some daily life street noise which added to the atmosphere. I shared with the apt. owner (in a book where she collects clients' stories/comments that they might like to consider getting some more sheer daytime curtains/drapes or shutters to provide for some more privacy without having to totally shut out a window view as the roll down shades did.

Comments:The bathroom sink was partially pulled out from the wall when we arrived. It didn't get worse, but we were careful with it. Also, the type of sink causes water to spill/drip off the front edge getting your shirt wet while using it. If you replace it, I'd suggest a more traditional sink that functions better. Also important to note that there was NOT enough hot water for more than one 5 minute shower causing one person to have to take a cold shower everyday. Because of this I would not use this apartment again or recommend it. I would suggest a tankless hot water heater so your guests can take proper showers. We loved the place otherwise and would recommend it if this was fixed. We really loved the place and hope you can fix the hot water issue to make it just perfect. Thanks so much, Kamber Mason

Comments:Since it was in July, it was quite hot in the appartement since there is no air conditionner. Would of been nice to have at least a fan. This comment was given at our return and I was pleased with the response. You should advise that a pub is just downstairs, we were with children and with the windows opened, was a bit noisy. But for all the rest no comment, all was very good. Many thanks, would go back in autumn or spring.

Comments:We found the apartment to be absolutely perfect for our trip. We loved the location, and the apartment was spotless and exactly as advertised. The futons were very comfortable, and the linens and towels were just fine. We would rent this again apartment in a heartbeat - it was a wonderful apartment in a wonderful location. My youngest daughter (4), loved to look out the window each morning to see if the boulangerie was open so she could send my husband to get the morning's croissants. The gentleman at the Crepe stand on Rue Cler also became familiar with my girls and would make a special Citron crepe just for them. We have wonderful memories that I don't think could be replicated in a hotel. Thank you so much for your help as well during the volcano - we really appreciated your help and responsiveness.

Because we live where there isn't much street noise, the noise outside kept us from a great night's sleep, but we felt that was part of the experience of staying in Paris.
