Comments:There was a family with small children in the apartment above whose noise continued into the late hours. As we had two people sleeping in the living room, we found the running and scrapping of chairs annoying. The apartment's location is absolutely wonderful. We hesitate to make too many good comments as we would like to keep this gem to ourselves!!

Comments:Only minor issue with the above was that the linens provided with the cot did not include a topsheet or a duvet cover. There was a bottom sheet and a very light blanket, plus another blanket in the living room that I think was a throw. The comforter/duvet cover combo in the small bedroom was much too heavy and hot for that room, which tends to be on the warm side, I ended up having to extract the comforter from the cover for my daughter's cot and swapping things around. I understand the duvet cover/comforter concept but it's too heavy in a warm space and since it's not the sheet and multiple blanket combo it's hard to control the bed temperature. But this is a minor quibble in what was otherwise a perfect apartment in every way. C'etait fantastique! We loved everything about the apartment. It was bigger than we'd imagined and a great layout for our multi-generational family trip with my parents, my husband. The location could not have been better, convenient to the RER and metro and buses as well as lots of local neighborhood shops. We loved being able to go out and buy our breakfast bread and pastries, ate out at local cafes a couple of times, and shopped for our New Year's dinner there as well. Rue Motorgeuil (sp?), just one block away, is a gem! The furnishings were confortable -- very tasteful but not stuffy. The dining table seats 6 comfortably, and has 6 chairs. Your description says it seats 4 and the photo shows a smaller table with only 4 chairs. I was a little worried how we'd accommodate the 5 people in my family to eat at home a couple of times, so it would be worth updating this on your website, as you sleep 7. The kitchen table doesn't show in the photos and we used it quite a bit, so it's worth noting. There are also 2 barstools that separate the kitchen and dining room, which was nice to have. So.... plenty of kitchen and dining room seating for groups larger than 4! I suggest you update your directions from the RER. There has been a lot of contruction at Les Halles and the directions left inside the apartment were more up to date. Please tell guests to go to Porte Rambuteau when exiting the Chatelet/ Les Halles RER station and not Porte Saint Eustache. The exit at Porte Rambuteau is ony 1/2 block further from the apartment but it has escalators all the way up as well as an elevator between level -3 and 0 (street level). Porte Sainte Eustache does not have escalators. When you have luggage this makes a big difference! I knew before we went because I went online and found an article about the new escalators at Rambuteau; I think that exit only opened up in spring 2014. I would also remind people in your directions that they must keep their RER ticket to exit (which you don't need to do for Metro tickets). In case you are interested, the price for the RER just went up Jan. 1 to 10 euros (from 9 something) for travel between CDG and the center of Paris. Still a great deal and so convenient! The information in the apartment was very detailed and helpful. There were no directions for the stove, so it would be good to add those. I found it a little tricky. The oven directions were good, although it's also a bit complicated. I had trouble when I couldn't figure out I'd set a timer to make the oven go on in the future so it wouldn't go on immediately! Figured it out finally though, but I had to look up some directions online.

Comments:The apartment was terrific and brighter and larger than we anticipated based on the online photos. Everything was exactly as we expected with the beds made up, the extra key where we expected it, the information binder very comprehensive. The only thing we didn't figure out was how to turn on the television. We didn't use it in the end and didn't miss it but we really had no idea and we are a pretty techy family. The bathroom was clean when we arrived except for the toilet brush which should have been cleaned after the last use and was filthy. I cleaned it. We bought extra toilet paper and left extra rolls for the incoming tenants. It would have been nice to have washing up liquid in the apartment so we could wash dishes right away. We also bought a large bottle and left it for the next tenant. Your service was absolutely top notch. We travel a lot and rent apartments in different cities and the ease and professionalism that you offer your customers is the best we have ever experienced. Thank you Vacation in Paris for helping us have the family vacation of a lifetime! We hope to use your services again and will definitely highly recommend you in the future (in fact, we already have).

Comments:The towels seemed a bit thin. The noise from the stairwell within the property was significant, especially on Sunday and Friday, especially late at night. This was a lovely property overall. The telephone was not working when we arrived, and there were no directions as to what to do in that instance. I used my international cell phone and left a message on the VIP's answering machine. Unfortunately that call was returned to my US cell phone, so I didn't get that message until I returned to the US. At the end of the first full business day, I emailed VIP and did get a response quickly from both the owner and VIP. If the apartment's internet had not been working, I'm not sure that we ever would have connected.

Comments:Although there was some construction noise from the apartment above, it was during the day and did not have much of an impact on us or our schedule. Both the size and the location of the two bedroom apartment contributed to a delightful and enjoyable stay for our two families. The addition of the apartment next door enabled our three generations to have a memorable vacation together while still allowing us time to be on our own. We would love to repeat the stay in Paris.

Comments:Nice, well appointed apartment in a good neighborhood next to a great Metro station connecting you easily to all of Paris and beyond. Exterior street entrance looks shabby, but that is very deceiving. Large market street one block over with bakeries, vegetable/fruit markets, ATMs, cafes, bars, etc. Have been renting apartments in Europe since 2000 and this is the best.

Comments:We were thrilled to find a home away from home in this Paris apartment. After having lived in France for 6 years in the past, it was wonderful to jump right back in to French life, thanks to the beauty, convenience and location of this apartment. The entire process of renting this apartment was efficient, professional and reassuring. The staff were great to work with and extremely helpful. We are looking forward to our next stay and have already referred you to our friends. Thank you so much for facilitating such a fantastic experience.

Comments:As we stayed for 10 days I was expecting to find a set of clean linen left out so that we could change the sheets ourselves half way through the stay. I had understood that this would be the case. I did find some clean linen in a cupboard but because it hadn't been specified that I could use it, I didn't like to just take it . In the end we did use 2 sets of clean linen as we had new people staying with us for a week end, but the rest of us just kept out old sheets for the entire stay. Not really a problem ,but better communication would have made me feel happier about using the clean sheets! Loved the property, your efficiency throughout the booking, stay, and key refund. What a pleasure to find such a nice reliable company, I have told many people both here and overseas about you already!!The bottle of wine was a lovely welcoming gesture. The cleaner who came half way though our visit was polite, helpful and very efficient. He even insisted on helping us carry our suitcases down the stairs on the last morning. My only helpful suggestion for change is that a different washing machine be installed. The one that is there is not easy to work/understand(even though I have lived in France for 10 years previously) and did not work very well at all. We could only ever 1/3rd fill it or else it would not work at all. Apart from that , the peoperty was wonderful and we had the most fantastic holiday .Thank you all so much.

Comments:We rented an apt in London just prior to our Paris visit, and it was pretty bad. We were a little nervous when we saw the graffiti on the street entrance of the Paris apt, but we were thrilled once we got inside. We actually ran out of toilette paper during our visit. Also we were a little put off when the majority of the info we received before the trip was things to not do.

Comments:It was bit noisy after 6am outside as the trash trucks arrive about that time(not a problem for us as we are early risers). The towels could have been a bit better. Our friends had the large bedroom and as the small bedroom had no windows, I can not sleep in a room without a window. We slept on the sofa bed which was very comfortable and was not an inconvenience as all. We very much loved the apartment, the location and the overall ambiance of the place. We will definately stay there again. It is a home away from home! The internet worked well. I am a travel agent. I had already booked other apartments with you and my clients were happy. So when we were going we did not hesitate to book this lovely apartment with you.

Comments:The location was ideal for my travels and touring. We had four adults, two taller men and two average height women. The beds seemed a little short for the men who were 6ft+ but the room probably would not have accommodated longer beds. The appliances worked fine but it was not clear to me if the washing machine was also supposed to have a drying function as the instructions did not have a lot of guidance on this. There was a dry function button on the machine but pressing this button did not seem to start a drying cycle. It would be helpful to have some instructions on the stovetop for people who are not familiar with this type of stove, i.e., one of our group was not sure how to turn it off but he eventually figured it out. We liked the cozy feel of the apartment and the available kitchen tools and supplies. We were not sure where the nearest taxi stand was and ended up booking online via Taxi Bleu which was able to send an e-mail confirmation and arrived on time. The taxi company phone numbers in travel books link to central dispatch which do not have English speaking staff. I would suggest adding some information on the location of the nearest taxi stand for future non-French speaking guests. Overall I would recommend VIP for the good customer service and selection of apartments. I was happy with the service, apartment and would book with the company again. My friend recommended VIP after he took his mom to Paris for her 80th birthday. He was also happy with the service and location. Keep up the good work. Thank you very much for the option to mail the keys back after we completed our vacation. I was a little nervous about mailing the package from abroad.

Comments:I cannot say enough about this Parisian gem... The location was perfect. We absolutely fell in love with this little melting pot section of Paris. We walked EVERYWHERE. The Louvre was only 10 minutes away and Notre Dame was about 15 min. The Eiffel Tower took close to an hour, but... we were on vacation and in no particular rush. The apartment itself was very comfortable for six and the internet access was flawless. The owner left enough personal items around to make the place feel homey without making us feel out of place. He also left a handy notebook with a number of very helpful recommendations. Overall it was a wonderful place to stay. Just a few things... First, there was a funny smell coming from the bathroom. I'm sure it's just old Paris plumbing, but I wanted to mention it. Also, the tub in the bathroom was huge, while the shower was tiny. If he were to put a curtain rod over the tub and raise the handheld shower head, it would make for a very nice size shower. Anyone not wanting to squeeze into the small stall shower could lift a leg over the tub and have a very nice big shower.

Comments:There was a great deal of noise from other residents of the building, particularly from the courtyard at night. There is one couple who live somewhere in the building who speak very loudly or shout at each other late at night almost every night. They spoke French so I assume they live in the building. The noise started at 10 or 11pm on several nights and went on until 1or 2am. It made it quite difficult to sleep. Other than that the property is excellent in every way and our stay was a pleasure, I have used Vacation In Paris several times and have always had a very positive experience. Other than this particular incident I find your service excellent and would not hesitate to stay with you again or recommend you to a friend.

Comments:We loved our stay and the apatment was very well suited to what we wanted and expected we will defininately be back. The two areas that I marked down were: - Linen and Towels = there were not enough sheets for the beds, plenty of fitted bottom sheets but no top sheets. And the noise outside = this was only because of the Bastille Celebrations going on at the time at the fire station, we didn't expect that but we are also not complaning as such just being honest , that it was a little noisy. We also had a problem with the clothes washing machine, the instructions that are there are obviuosly for an earlier model not the current one that is there. Subsequently we were not able to get it to work correctly.

Comments:Apartment#170 provided a very rewarding experience for our time in Paris. We were pleasantly surprised on the amount of room it offered our family. The aspect from the windows/tiny balcony provided us with a very interesting view of Parisenne life. All in all a very good apartment to rent. A Number on the door would assist in locating the correct apartment. Finally, we think there may have been mice in the kitchen. No.

Comments:Overall we were extremely satisfied with the quality and all the features of the apartment, it was lovely, very clean, and in a fantastic location. Also all the information and service we received from Vacation in Paris was timely, informative and professional. The only comments (and these are very minor, I'm really just including them FYI), were one night the neighbours above were very noisy until quite late (midnight or so), but it was just one night and the rest of the time it was fine. The small closet where the cot is stored had a foul smell (like urine) and the small room with the two beds was quite stuffy and could benefit from a fan. That's all, it was really great and we were more than satisfied. We were wary about using this type of service to find accommodations but were very pleased with all aspects and will definitely do it again. We also used the recommended Global Transfer Services and they were also excellent. Thanks!

Comments:Overall, our experience was wonderful. The apartment was large and very comfortable. The kitchen was outfitted nicely...we cooked a wonderful meal there. The bathroom could use some updating. It would have been nice to have more than one towel per person, especially because the washer/dryer situation was so challenging. Other than that, we couldn't complain about anything. I would most certainly stay there again in a heartbeat! Someone stopped by from the cable company saying they needed to update the fiber optic card or something (language barrier!). I left the paper the gave me in the apt.

Comments:The location and the apartment were very good, however, one point I want to draw your attention to was that the neighbours above made a lot of noise. For example, children running up and down the hall and music playing past 10pm in the evening on at least 2-3 occasions (we didn't confront them about it as we didn't want to be rude and we don't speak fluent French). We didn't mind the metro noise and noise from apartment buildings is expected but i think the level of noise made by the neighbours was unacceptable. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Paris and will use your services again to book a property.

Comments:This apt. Is LARGE. ..for Paris standards. Take it if you want the best room and sleeping areas! BRING ear plugs as the street is noisy and loud. If you are in the back the deliveries start early morning like 6am...and you will har them. You can go back to sleep but ear plugs help you block the noise...and ear covers would help. The kitchen was well equiped for cooking. The bath has 2 showers and 2 sinks ...very helpful. YOu will feel safe here. There is a street market 2xs a week. A few of the vendors tried to short change us. Be forwarned! Every person @vip we talked with knew the apts. and all were helpful and very kind and considerate. It was always a pleasure to do business with VIP. Also, we use G7 cabs since VIP suggested them. They were always ontime. Never a problem. Met is close and you can walk to the Seine if you want.
