Comments:The main bed was great, but on reflection, the sofa bed needs an adjustment as when you lie on your side your legs are lower, causing leg aches, discovered this when moved to next destination and legs not aching, hence why could not report to Claudia at the time of handing back keys. Everything else was fantastic, thank you!

Comments:This was my second time stay at this property. Now, The Apartment is in a lovely quite Neighborhood with transportation close by and we loved being 8 minute walk to the Iron Lady and watching it light up at night. The gardens are beautiful. There a many restaurants near by and a number of grocery store and a wine shop across the street up a block away. We felt safe when we had to come back late in the night. Vacation In Paris staff is an absolute pleasure to deal with and are very helpful and professional yet friendly. I Highly recommend this Agency. I am planning on using them for a rental when we go to London and on our next trip to France. This is a five star Agency. Thank you Jan, for all the help when our trip got halted during the Pandemic.

Comments:The apt. was excellent in all respects. The kitchen was especially good being well equipped. We did not use the microwave (unusual for us) or the coffee maker because we are tea drinkers. We used the cooktop to prepare meals and the oven once. The controls and temp settings are not what we are accustomed to and the directions were in French and a bit confusing for us but somehow we managed. We did not tap the internet for instructions in English. The oven was pristine and I suppose it is used less often because of the lack of English instructions. The bathroom was also well equipped. Plenty of space to stash personal toiletries, etc. and well lighted. The evening on the day before we left the smoke alarm in the entry way sent off death beeps. It stopped and we tested it but clearly the battery was shot. We left a note on the dining room table with in as good a French message as we could muster. Having Bus Direct so close by was a real advantage getting to and from CDG. The closest Metro #6 was not as convenient to getting around Paris as other locations we have stayed--a lot more connections required.

Comments:Some of the bed linens and throw pillows are worn out and should be replaced. A box of Kleenex in the living room would be appreciated. There wasn't enough paper towel in the kitchen for my entire stay. The telephone's answering machine is confusing and there was no instruction on how to check messages. On the last two days, the tenants above were walking around with either high heel shoes or shoes that have hard insoles which made a lot of noise at night.

Comments:Just some small points that overall don't change my opinion of this great apartment and rental. 1, the bed was a little small length wise not width wise. I found my feet hanging over and I'm only 6'. 2, the bathroom tub is really high and I found it sometimes dangerous to make that big first step out and 3, the couch isn't that comfortable. Again, this are nitpicky things and we truly loved this place and your service and we would us it again.

Comments:We liked the apartment a lot and, as of now, it would be our preference to stay there on our next trip. We couldn't find instructions for using the microwave. It's unfortunate that the window shutters have to be closed to use the A/C, since it took away the open, airy feel of the apartment. The weather was so nice that we opted to go back to leaving the windows open. Nice safe, quiet neighborhood (quiet noise-wise, but Avenue de Suffren never felt deserted). Both the metro and RER were restricted during our visit so it's hard to judge how convenient normal transportation options are. It just made getting around in Paris more a little more of an adventure - and a lot more walking. Long story short, we used the taxi queue around the corner at the Pullman Hotel to get a cab to the airport when we left. The metered rate was under 50 Euros, although we paid 60, since that's what the driver had quoted at the start.

Comments:Hello! The apartment was great. We have used it before. The location is superb, central to everything. We have used this apartment before and loved it. I was presenting at a conference and would work on my lap top in the evening (having wi-fi is a big plus and I do look for that in any rental) and would work at the table in the evening. However it was difficult as there is no light there. I would have to put the bathroom light on to be able to see the screen clearly. Would it be possible to put a lamp in that corner? We found the place dark in the evening. It's a great place, we even met one of the neighbors. We would use it again.

Comments:This Apartment was an excellent choice for us. Just an 8 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. It was a modern and very clean and spacious by European standards. The only glitch was that when we used the toaster we lost power. However, the Apartment manager took care of things right away. Dealing with vacations in Paris was a pleasure from beginning to end. All the office staff are professional and friendly. The Transfer service Vacations in Paris recommended was BT Transfers, and they were very punctual, professional and helpful. Thank you for the recommendation. I would not hesitate to use Vacations in Paris again. Thank you for all your assistance and suggestions.

Comments:We loved this neighborhood. The apartment was in the best location! We walked through Champs de Mars every night and thoroughly enjoyed all the cafes within a block or two. As we were there for three weeks we got to know them all, and didn't find a bad one. The proximity of the bus stops was a special benefit to us. We rode all of them and enjoyed exploring all of this beautiful city by bus. The apartment very quiet and with the electric, room darkening shutters, promoted a good night's sleep every night. The apartment would not be considered luxurious, but was more than adequate. It was clean, comfortable and bright. The only negatives were a noisy frig (we shut the kitchen door) and a couple of burned out light bulbs. The building was very secure, the elevators, prompt and the neighbors friendly! We had never rented a vacation apartment before, and were a little nervous (no - scared!!) about committing so much of the success of this once in a lifetime trip to something found on the internet, especially since we were staying for three weeks. Howev

Comments:The bathroom was clean, but whoever cleaned it left the showerhead directed to the corner of the tub. Until we corrected its position, we got too much water on the floor and we had to use our "spare" towels to mop it up. We arrived on a Saturday evening. Unfortunately, someone in the building must have either turned off or was "holding" one or both of the elevators. We waited more than 20 minutes, with no indication whether the elevator service was even working. This was very confusing and discouraging ... we thought we might be doing something wrong. This happened one more time during our stay.

Instructions on whether or not any garbage can be separated for recycling would be helpful and more detailed information in English on using the laundry would be helpful. Apartment could do with a god "dusting". We found the apartment very quiet, good size, comfortable and a great location for our purposes.

Comments:This apartment was absolutely WONDERFUL!! Everything was impeccable. And Vacation in Paris was super organized and on top of all the planning details leading up to the trip - I was very impressed. The cupboards in the kitchen were stocked with everything imaginable that you could possibly need. The neighborhood couldn't be more perfect, and was within walking distance of many attractions and a couple Metro lines. The building security was first class, and we felt very safe and secure, AND the building/neighborhood was super quiet, which was lovely. The bottle of wine and kind note greeting us upon our arrival made us feel special! I would (and have already) recommend this apartment to anyone! Thank you for helping to make our trip wonderful.

Comments:Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this excellent apartment. The reason we gave 'good' to the kitchen is that we felt a slight electrical tingle when touching the toaster when it was on, which we reported to the Tania upon our leaving. Also, 'good' for the bathroom because we felt that the shower curtain needed replacement as it was a bit mouldy at the bottom. We felt very safe and secure in the apartment particularly as it was in a huge courtyard behind the first building. No....we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the proximity to the Eiffel Tower and we walked everywhere throughout Paris but caught the Metro back at the end of the day!!! Thank You!

It's very quiet, with the windows facing a courtyard. The Eiffel Tower is a three minute walk away, and there are many cafes, markets, and restaurants on the streets near by. We could walk to the Seine and the Batobus (water taxi) in about five minutes. The refrigerator in the apartment is the largest one that I have seen in Europe!

Comments:The service from the agency was excellent, and everything was completed in a timely and thoughtful fashion. The apartment itself was ok, although the bathroom was not well cleaned on our arrival, and three adults were somewhat cramped. The kitchen was nicely equipped, although it is unrealistic to characterize the washer-dryer as anything more than a washer (the dryer did not dry, but that was clear in the instruction material we received). The building was very quiet. The location was convenient to transportation but we would have been better served in a more central location in the city We enjoyed the experience of living in an apartment in Paris, and while we would likely not rent this specific property again we will be pleased to use the services of VIP again

This apartment was clean, comfortable, and in an incredible location, just one short block from the base of the Eiffel Tower and the Champ de Mars. What a location especially at night as the sun is setting and the Tower lights up for its first performance of "dancing diamonds", and it's so much fun to watch all of the people, Parisiennes and tourists alike enjoying the warm spring air and each other.

Comments:We enjoyed our stay so very much. The location and proximity to the Metro, shops and a variety of restaurants could not have been better. And then there was "le Tour", a constant presence. There WAS construction noise during the day, but for the most part, we were out and about, so it was not a problem. Tania was terrific and came to our rescue when the light in the commode burned out. We will most definitely use Vacation in Paris for our next trip. You may want to update your information on the apartment to reflect the fact there is no longer a Hilton hotel in the neighborhood. There is a Mecure and a Pullman.

Comments:To show you how much we thought of the property, we have already booked it for a two-week stay for September 2013. We were tremendously pleased with every single thing about this unit! We also thought that VIP was the very best--by far--rental agency with whom we have ever dealt. We have recommended your company to many of our friends. Keep up the good work! It's hard, if not impossible, to improve upon perfection. I wish I could offer some suggestions, but I think that you have it down pat. The Paris Hilton #162 is simply a great accommodation; there is nothing that I can add to improve it, except to say that the coffee table is very heavy and cumbersome to move when the sofa bed is used. I suspect that is the reason the hemp rug is frayed and torn.

Comments:My husband is 6ft 2 so double bed bit short but we managed but Queen would be much better probably for most people. We only got 3 towels would have liked at least 2 each so would could have rotated them but that was a minor thing. An extra comfy chair as well as couch would have been nice and maybe some laundry soap powder. As I said this is being picky as to what was a delightful stay. None of this took away from what was great accommodation in a great location. Learnt about apartment through Trip Advisor. Like to thank you for organising our stay so efficiently our stay was easy to communicate with and will definitely use again as would love to return to Paris a week did not allow us to see everything ofcourse.

Comments:This is a wonderful apartment with an excellent location which we used for 5 nights in May 2012. It is located 1 block from the Metro station and 1 block from the parkway at the Eiffel Tower, which makes for wonderful walks. There are decent outdoor restaurants within a block and two small grocery store and a wine store. The internet was good. The unit is on the 8th floor with windows opening onto a courtyard, so it is quiet with the windows open. It is a modern apartment with all the essentials needed for a good stay. It is the first time we have rented a condo in Paris and would definitely do so again. Better instructions as to how to access the apartment would be helpful. Instructions for putting the badge right next to the sensor would be good. Also, there was no instruction on which apartment the key was for and there were no apartment numbers. The front desk person was there when we arrived and she was able to give us instructions, but I am not sure what we would have done had she not been there. 4 towels would be helpful to have in the unit, as there were only two. Also, a simpler step by step instruction for the washer/dryer would be helpful, as I had never seen one of these combination units before and ended up washing my clothes twice instead of washing and drying them.

Comments:I marked the VALUE as acceptable due to the additional fees charged in addition to the actual rental fee. Without those fees the value would have been exceptional.

Cable reception was spotty at best but did not cause us any isssues. This may be a problem for others. Our experience through VIP was great. Use us as referances if you like. Mark & Lucy L

Comments:Double bed is too small - should be a queen size. Could well get rid of the fold down bed system and there would be lots of room The sofa is uncomfortable - we like to sit and read at times and a good sofa is important. Generally, it is above average, particularly in Paris.

Comments:To all the Team at VacationInParis, I have rented holiday apartments all over the world, but dealing with your team has been the Best and Most Professional - by a country mile. The apartment was perfect - exactly as described. It is EXACTLY as per your pictures. Of all the things that were so wonderful, one thing that is particularly good is that it is so close to the chaos of the Eiffel Tower, yet turn the corner and head to the apartment and you are in a quiet, residential street. I slept with the bedroom doors open each evening, and the noise was non-existent. It is a beautiful, cozy apartment. The temperatures had hit typical fall/winter temps (which I adore), yet the apartment still did not need the heater on. The full size bath was wonderful to soak a tired body in at the end of a day. I also loved the seagrass matting on the floor - such a good feeling walking on that, wearing fluffy socks, after a day on the cobblestones. The entire building is SILENT! It was as though nobody else was there. Yet I passed several of the residents each day on my way out or in - many of them had their beautiful little dogs with them - and all greeted me with a very friendly "Bonjour Madame" as the passed by. How are their dogs also so silent and well behaved? The apt is Very Close to the yellow Hop-On-Hop-Off bus, so if you are on your first trip to Paris, that is a great way to start to get to know the city. A couple of steps further on, as the Poodle trots, from the Hop-On bus are your choices of various Seine River cruises. A hotel Taxi Rank is only a few metres away, down a side street, and the metro not much further. There were many evenings that I staggered home after a day of sightseeing and walking, and was able to call into one of a couple of grocery stores - very close by - and pick up some things for dinner. Or, on the lazy evenings when I didn't want to cook, I just stopped at one of the cafes for a coffee and cake for dinner, instead. There is also a WONDERFUL patisserie just near the grocery stores. (evening indulgence consisted of a Paris Brest - a choux pastry the size of a baby's head, filled with cream in the centre, and covered in caramel icing. Waddle! Waddle!) A FYI on the nearby cafes: There are 3 cafes as you turn down the street from the Eiffel Tower end. Two of them were very friendly, with good coffee, and endless patience with my ordinary standard of French. However, the staff at the cafe with the bright yellow awning were extremely rude to ALL the customers. I understand a lot more French than I am able to speak, and the staff at this cafe got their jollies by being insulting to everyone. I was initally referred to as "The 40 year old". I was happy with that as I am well past 40. Then one waiter called to the other "that 40 yo is English though, so she's probably only 20"...and they all had a good laugh. Then an American couple sat down, and the waiter called their order through to the kitchen "....the Big Breakfast for the fat American who thinks she's dressed like a Parisian". The same treatment was given to every other customer. When my coffee was brought to me, I quietly pointed out that I was somewhat older than 40, and an Australian. These were the ONLY rude people I met in Paris, though. I am so glad I chose to rent an apartment, rather than stay at a hotel, and I am extremely happy that I found your company whilst searching the internet. It was wonderful to have the keys with me when I arrived, rather than having to find the rental office, then schlepp luggage (and myself) along to the apartment - especially after 30 hours of flying. Perfect apartment. Excellent service. = Perfect Holiday. Thank you so much. Kind regards, Rebecca L, Australia.

Comments:The apartment was definitely one of our favorite things about Paris. We felt safe and comfortable the entire time. Didn't hear any noise from anywhere. Love the window shades they block out all the light from outside allowing you to sleep in even in the brightest daylight. One detraction we should note is that there was a strong tobacco smell in the lobby of the 8th floor. Some of the smell carries into the apartment, which could be a problem in the winter when the windows are closed. I am very sensitive to cigarette smoke. Luckily we could leave the windows open and didn't smell it too badly inside the apartment. Overall, we really enjoyed having an apartment in Paris that had more than one room. I like to stay up late and work, but my wife was able to sleep in the bedroom without being disturbed. Definitely an advantage over the available studios. The only thing we weren't completely satisfied with was the living room couch. It looks stylish in the pictures, but it's not very comfortable to sit on for long periods. Luckily, we weren't in the apartment very much, so it wasn't a big issue. Leaving the key in the lock inside the apartment doesn't prevent you from opening the door as indicated in the apartment instructions. I tried this during our stay and the door unlocked normally. I didn't leave the key in the lock when we left, but I was curious considering the note in our instructions packet.

Comments:We loved our stay and the apartment was a great size for our family. My kids (5&7) were fine with sleeping on the sofa...but I do think that sofa would be uncomfortable for adults to sleep on. Overall, the condition of the apartment was excellent...very quiet and easy to get to. The staff at Vacations In Paris were very helpful and pleasant to work with. As a family traveling, we thought it was a nice touch to have so many board games, etc available in the apartment. We also appreciated all the guide books and other travel tips left at the apartment. Also, the wifi was excellent...we have stayed many places where getting online can be very frustrating.

Would like to stay there again if it is still rentable when we return to Paris. We have a video of the apartment that we share with our friends.

Comments:The best location ever - lovely neighborhood - very safe - within walking distance of many sites - I could go on and on. We loved it. The apartment could use more lights in the living dining area and maybe a comfortable chair. Also, a few more bath towels would be nice. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

Comments:Beautifully, well equipped apartment located in a fantastic location. Very family friendly. The apartment was very tidy. A bit more dusting could have been made, especially around the tv/plant area. A few minor items in the apartment, such as only 1 working light in the kitchen and the blinds in the living room did not pull up in alignment if you pulled too fast. I was worried I caused it. However, upon closer inspection, I noticed that the edges of the blinds were frayed to to previous overuse/overpulling. None the less. Love the fact that there was a washing machine, free WIFI, quiet location, comfy bed, kitchen was well equipped for making meals. Also fantastic, was the Paris Guides, and binder indicating great restaurants. We went to two of them and one was our best meal in Paris. The information for the apartment and the interaction with VIP staff was outstanding; prompt clear and helpful replies. Thanks! Photos of the bathroom, hallway, toilet, exterior of the building, street would definately enhance an already good collection of photos.

Comments:We had a problem with the large roll down security door to the living room window. It was stuck in the down position, resulting in a hot musty condition overall in the apartment. April, from VIP was able to secure a 10% discount for the inconvenience which was truly appreciated. Overall the apartment was very nice and the location was superb! It was so very close to the Eiffel Tower and several markets and cafe's nearby, which made the trip very easy to manage when we needed supplies or simply something to eat. Oh, one last thing, we ran out of toilet paper and restocked 8 rolls from the market down the street. Just wanted to mention so you can keep an eye on that in the future. I know it's not something that's under your control, but I have to mention! The people in Paris, from souvenir girls to shopkeepers and waiters were so NICE! Everyone was helpful and friendly and really made our trip comfortable and enjoyable. We were a little nervous at first, because of the general reputation of Parisians, but we were blown away by the friendliness. The girls in the first souvenir shop we went into even gave our children some little Eiffel Tower keychains after our purchase. Just a tiny gesture, but it meant so much and really got the Paris leg of our trip off to a great start. (Which had been a little rough up until that point) Oh, and tell all clients to beware the beggars. We had an especially aggressive one at Gare du Nord after a mixup with our car service caused us to have to queue for a Taxi.

Comments:Interacting with Vacation In Paris staff in the United States has been outstanding. Everything went very smoothly from the day I selected the apartment until I returned the key. The one major problem I had was however with Vacation In Paris staff in Paris itself with someone by the name of Morgan, who single-handedly managed to put a big damper on my stay there. Details are below.

Comments:We had a mix of towels so it would have been nice to have all the same kind since there was a note on the closet not to take more towels as there would be an extra fee. Since this was our first experience this made us nervous because there didn't seem to be any inventory control. But overall, no worries. We followed directions and instructions. The guides/maps in the apt are very useful and appreciated. American DVD's do work which could be useful to fellow americans renting the apt. Cable in English channels didn't come up as specified in the notebook in the apt. One thing, the tub in bathroom is very high and there is no bar to hold onto when entering/exiting the shower which could be a concern if someone slips. But overall our experience was fabulous and will recommend to others as well as rent again from you. The apt is very nice.
