Comments:The room lighting in main room could have been better. The written information in unit could have been more complete. For example identifying the controller for the bedroom AC would have been helpful. With respect to written information on the apartment and how to get in indicating where the fob on the key ring should be placed at the inside door frame to activate its opening could have be useful (we figured it out but folks tired after a long flight need max information) One idea that other rental agencies have used is to have a book guests can put observations on eg best restaurants, advice of what to do , what to avoid, stores. opening times etc

Comments:The property (129-5)is very noisy at night since it is located on a street filled with restaurants and bars. Windows had to be kept closed. Renters should be warned that in the summer this is a problem. There was no indication in the information provided that the property had air conditioning nor were there any instructions on how to operate the unit if you were lucky enough to locate it. We liked the apartment and would return anytime but in the summer (see above).

Comments:We loved staying at this apartment in Paris. The proximity to St. Suplice, Luxembourg Gardens, St. Germain, Louvre, Notre Dame, metro, buses, etc - was amazing! This is really the best location in Paris. The one flight of stairs with no one underneath was great too. The apartment is spacious and even my Parisian friends were impressed with the location/space. The kitchen is small but provided everything we needed for our stay. We would stay here again. A family of three or four is perfect for this place. The extra sleeping options are very nice although we did not try them out for comfort we just saw that they were available. The bedroom is really large and closet stored our suitcases and belongings very nicely. We were so careful not to have our 23 month old be loud in the halls coming in and out of the building. I can't say as much for the remainder of the tenants in the building. They were LOUD when using the staircase. Also, there is a small patio that belongs to the other apartment on the same floor. They use this patio as a smoking lounge. Since there are air grates in the bathroom that cannot be closed, the smell of smoke came into the apartment. It was unpleasant and should be noted to the management so they can either change the vents. The neighborhood was great, except at 3 am on a Saturday. Thankfully it was cold and rainy while we were in Paris and we didn't need to have the windows open, but when we left for the airport at 4:30 a.m. Sunday morning there were a lot of drunk patrons from the local establishments on the street. You can't hear them much from the bedroom which is at the back of the apartment. There was also a nightly piano player in the restaurant downstairs but that concluded by midnight and did not prevent our daughter from falling asleep - it was actually quite nice music but it would likely trouble a light sleeper if they were trying to fall asleep before midnight. The crib and the high chair were great to have - such a wonderful luxury to be able to have that included in the rental. However, they should have also provided a towel for the child. We had to use one of the hand/hair towels they provided us for our daughter. Yes, two adults, but they should have realized that we were going to bathe our child during the four days we stayed there and provide a third towel set for her. It was also so very nice to have a hair dryer and nice of the management to leave previously purchased salt, pepper, coffee, coffee filters, oil, etc. in the cupboards for future guests. We left behind several bottles of water and sponges. (The sponge they left for us to use was a bit ratty and I really wasn't sure what it was used on last - so I purchased a new pack and left two behind.) Master bed rather firm but nice size! Wine was a nice touch but rather bad. it was the one on sale that week at the monoprix. not that great. We did go to monoprix and get a different bottle - perhaps you want to suggest "Domaine Sacre Coure" which was an excellent table wine for a few Euros.

Comments:Very noisy in building one night for about 1/2 hour or so at 2-3 am. Sounded like someone moving in. Lot of loud stair noises, like hauling stuff, hitting walls, etc. Not that big a deal. It did stop after 1/2 an hour or so. Absolutely loved the locality, the apartment, the opening windows. Everyone we met in the area was wonderful. Would absolutely use this again when in Paris. The wine was a really nice touch. Appreciated upon arrival after a long journey. Loved everything about the place. And Paris. One other note. Didn't seem the directions in the book matched the washing machine. Figured it out though. May want to update (and had to turn water on to washing machine-should note in book) Thanks

Comments:Great piano player next store. Normally 9:00pm-11:00pm. Exception, he decided to practice one morning from 3:35 AM until 4:35 AM. The outstanding location more than makes up for the minor blip. Our ten day stay provided another excellent experience with Vacations In Paris. Thanks for a great experience.

Comments:The apartment was perfect for our needs of 2 people. We did have a third guest for 2 nights, but I would think it would be tight for more than 3 adults unless you are into groups. The beds were amazingly comfortable. We did hear the tinkering on the piano. Very convenient location for all of our needs, including food markets (I cooked most of the time and want a Monoprix in my neighborhood). Quick walk to the river and most of the places we wanted to be. I want the bathroom shipped to my house immediately!

Comments:Wonderful apartment. Everything was extremely clean. The unlimited amount of hot water was a huge bonus. The apartment was much larger than what I expected and was located in a fastatic neighborhood. Coming from the United States, I also felt more security with being able to communicate with someone locally.

Comments:The apartment was in good condition, and in general very appealing upon arrival. There was quite a bit of dust and debris behind the bookshelves, under the sofa, and in areas around the sofa bed chair. The sofa cushions had something sticky between them, and on the arm rest cushions. There were only 4 sets of towels for the 5 of us. The dishwasher leaked all over the floor when we used it, and it appeared from what we saw that this had happened previously (we did contact the local contact person to let her know). There were also food and drink items left in the refrigerator from the previous renters. There was significant street noise in the living room area, which made it really hard for the kids to sleep. There was also a significant amount of noise in the center "courtyard" area that the master bedroom window faces. There were very noisy people coming and going at all hours (i.e. 2-3 am). There was also loud piano music almost every evening (not sure if it was coming from upstairs or downstairs). The apartment rules regarding noise certainly scared us and made us really concerned about creating any problems, so we felt pretty disappointed to have so much noise to have the deal with. The apartment location was great for sightseeing, restaurants, and felt safe, etc.

Comments:+++Overall, a very comfortable, clean, well-located apartment. We enjoyed having the space, and the location was convenient. --Wi-fi was iffy and dropped often. A few other really minor items: A few evenings, we heard the piano player thru the walls. We would gladly [and already have] recommend/use your service again. Professional, responsive. Love having the keys in hand. Do you have any London facilities or affiliates? We are already thinking about next year!

Comments:What a great apartment. We had a lovely time. There was some noise on the street below since Rue Guisarde is filled with many restaurants/bars that would stay open late into the evening; however, you could not hear the noise from the bedroom when we slept. The location was perfect. We would stay in this apartment again in a heartbeat. The apartment should include a book with frequently asked questions like: number for taxi service (backto airport), map of metro system, location of closest market, recommendation for different types of restaurants (best place for macarons, hot chocolate, etc). We had a great time!

Comments:We thought the apt was great. There is a lot of noise on the street but the triple pane windows worked as long as they were shut. Since bedroom is in the rear we were able to open that window to get some fresh air. We felt the bed was ultra hard. We were very happy with your service and would recommend to friends. The little annoyances were minor.

Comments:Overall very satisfied- some comments: not enough pillows for family of five; no dish soap in kitchen to wash dishes- there was a large, very dusty, dirty orange juicing machine on the counter in the kitchen just taking up space-I doubt anyone would use it since it wasn't clean. otherwise the kitchen was clean. There was a washing machine for clothes, but no dryer, so we could not use it. Appreciated free use of phone and internet and really amazing location in lively neighborhood with lots of shops and restaurants. It would have been nice for owner to leave some sort of guide to the surrounding neighborhood- recommended restaurants, subway map, directions to nearest metro, nearest grocery, outdoor markets nearby, parks etc... this is always helpful to visitors staying in an apartment instead of a hotel, where there is no front desk or concierge to ask for directions or suggestions. This would be a small gesture that does not cost anything, but it would really enhance the experience of the guests.

Comments:It was our second stay in this apartment (our 3rd booking with Vacation in Paris) and everything was just as great second time around. The location is unbeatable - it has Parisian charm in spades as well as being at the heart of St Germain - one of the city's most upmarket areas. The apartment is warm and cosy and attractively furnished with an unusually spacious and luxurious bathroom. Since our last visit triple glazed windows have been installed which have eliminated entirely the noise from the busy bars and restaurants below at street level - not that these were a problem to us the first time around - they simply added to the lovely atmosphere - but certainly the glazing has made a big difference. Finally, a mention for the continued friendly and efficient service from all the staff at Vacation in Paris - this is exactly how to run such a service - first class! We're looking forward to booking again in 2011!

Comments:It was an outstanding apartment in a great location. Our only suggestion would be to provide a lighter blanket for the bedroom...the comforter was too heavy for hot summer nights. Also, the hot water didn't work on our last day for some reason. Thank you for a wonderful experience. We will use your service again.
