Just 2 minutes walk to the historic place de la Bastille and less than a ten minutes walk from Place des Voges. This is a central location, 2 minutes walk to Metro Bastille (Lines 1,5, and 8), taxi stations, bus lines, and velib stations (bike rental).

This comfortable single bedroom has a floor space of 64 m2 (690 ft2) and will accommodate up to 5 people (4 adults & 1 child under 12 years). Located on the 3rd European floor (no elevator) of an 18th century building on a private paved historic courtyard named "Cour du nom de Jesus", that keeps out traffic noise. This is a very safe building, the main entrance gate protected by a coded security systems & interphone at the second gate in the courtyard. Bright and quiet with a southwest exposure with five large windows overlooking a quiet courtyard  with green trees and flowers during summertime.

This Paris holiday rental flat has recently been thoroughly renovated with beautiful furnishings and tastefully decorated hardwood floors, modern kitchen under the exposed wooden ceiling beams. This rental apartment takes advantage of the "open space" concept with a large living room and open style kitchen. The bedroom has a queen size bed and a large armoire with clothing storage. The open space has a bed pullout for 2 people and a large armoire with clothing storage.

We are sure you will enjoy this comfortable and quiet vacation apartment in the heart of a very active area.

This apartment requires a "Meet and Greet" - guests will be met at the apartment and given keys at that time.

My husband and I are planning a trip to Paris later this year and I’ve just emailed an availability request. This reminded me that I hadn’t thanked you for the great service you provided us in June last year when we rented apartment 236 – Bastille-Le Marais at the last minute because our previous plans had gone awry due to the Icelandic volcano. Everyone we dealt with at VIP were very helpful and understanding, and being able to pay by credit card made it so easy.

The day we arrived the owner was at the apartment to meet us and was so charming, providing us with lots of tips about the best places to shop and eat in the neighbourhood.

The apartment was fantastic and we felt immediately at home – light and airy with a well-stocked kitchen and huge bathroom. While it’s in a location that would not necessarily have been our first choice, we couldn’t have been happier. Nearby there’s a great daily fresh food market, a large supermarket and a variety of restaurants and we were able to walk everywhere – even up to Montmartre and across to the Eiffel Tower.

Thank you for turning our disappointment into a fabulous holiday! Whenever the opportunity arises, we always highly recommend VIP and the apartment.
