This is a very handsome apartment with quality furniture which we are sure you will find most comfortable. It is of generous size at 36 m² (about 390 sq. ft.) and comfortably sleeps up to 4 adults. A new double sized bed for the bedroom is planned for April 2012 - currently there is comfortable pullout queen sized sofa bed with a thick mattress in the bedroom that is permenantly left in the 'open' position as a bed. The living area also has a very comfortable Queen size pullout sleeper with a thick mattress. 

As all Parisian spaces are rather small the property owner has used a great idea to make the place feel larger and more suitable to daytime and nighttime accommodations: Instead of a normal size door, there is a large sliding partition that separates the bedroom and living room. It allows privacy and separation, just like a door, but opens to a much wider open space during the daytime. This sliding separation is made of solid wood, plus it also has a heavy curtain which pulls over it for decoration.

Both the bedroom and living rooms have windows facing out to a quiet courtyard with lots of “open blue-sky view” and lots of ‘greenery’ as well. The apartment gets little or no street noise as it is located off the street, in a building separated from the street by a quiet small green courtyard and another building.

The kitchen is completely separate and has most everything you will need, a 4 burner stovetop, an oven plus a microwave, a refrigerator freezer, plus lots of cutlery and plates, and cups etc. for at least 4 people. The kitchen has a window and is quite comfortable to cook in or just re-heat those great-prepared meals you can purchase nearby. There is a nice round wooden table and chairs, very “Bistro style” just by the window, where 4 people can sit to dine. Of course, if you prefer to dine out, there are many cafes and wonderful restaurants to choose from in your immediate area. Maybe the most famous are the Café Flore and Café Deux Magots, plus the Brasserie Lipp restaurants nearby. When visiting the Louvre don’t forget to go to the large multi-ethnic food court they have there as well!

The bathroom has a large bathtub, great for soaking those tired feet after hitting the Paris pavements all day! Plus there is a shower attached to the wall above the tub. It even has a washer and combo-dryer unit you can use if you have been long travelling or will be staying more than a couple of days here.

This apartment is located on the 4^th floor (4 floors up) accessed by a new elevator installed in April 2011. The elevator stops on the ‘half-floors’, so you get out on the 5^th and walk down about 8 steps. Likewise when going out, you walk down a half floor to the 3^rd floor to catch the lift - no need to ever walk UP the stairs!

This lovely apartment with good quality furniture. This Paris short term rental is very comfortable and functional with a property owner that is concerned with maintaining and improving the property:
         - a new kitchen in 2008,
         - repainting and new bathtub/shower in December 2011,
         - an air conditioner for 2012
         - a new bed planned for April 2012.
Also the building had a new elevator installed in the Spring of 2011.
