Comments:This was I think out fifth time staying at the apartment,,,it's just great. A nit..there weren't two wind glasses of the same kind. Apparently, people don't replace what they break. Other than that, the apartment as always feels like a home away from home. We were there for the days of patrimony which is quite special. The government buildings are open to the public. Seeing the inside of the Hotel de Ville was very special.

Comments:There was some mold around the bathtub. Lighting fin general and especially for reading was frustratingly poor. We would look for another property is same area,, but if this was the only one available we would use it. Your service was OUTSTANDING!

Comments:I have two rather trivial complaints to make: the TV is too small...given the price to LCD TV's (in the US anyway) it wouldn't cost much to move to something bigger, the coffee maker works but I'd really prefer a french style press coffee maker.

Comments:The owner should know that water splashing out of the shower runs down the floor and makes a pool in the corner of the bathroom. Each morning, we mopped it up. However, if it wasn't noticed, it would do considerable damage over time. The main "pain" was having to find a post office to return the keys. When you're in a strange city, not speaking the language, arranging something like posting keys back to the USA can waste half a day!

Comments:A fabulous area of Paris with a mixture of students, locals, and some tourists. Close to the Sorbonne, the Pantheon, the Cluny. Much quieter than the Latin Quarter, but with the same academic vibe. The apartment is extremely quiet on an interior courtyard, yet steps away from fun eateries and cafes. Cannot say enough about the quality of the service from everyone I talked to in your office. What a class act!

Comments:Bed linen should be replaced - very worn, and one pillowcase torn. A great location in regard to shops and transportation, but the street itself is seedy looking, and there are homeless camping out around the corner. We were a bit apprehensive when we arrived, but once inside the entrance door to the building felt fine and became comfortable with 'our' neighborhood. Your website photo should be updated - there is a different couch in the apartment. Also there is a washing machine in the apartment that apparantly is functional, although we didn't need it.

Comments:This is the second time we have used this rental service in Paris, and second time we had difficulty with the local person assigned to meet us at the apartment. This time, we phoned the person from the airport and arrived at the apartment. We waited outside the apartment for him (30 minutes) while unbeknownst to us, he was inside the apartment--despite the fact we didn't know to get into the apartment.

Comments:The noise from within the building was fairly mild most of the time. The apartment overlooks a court yard and with the windows open, you would hear other conversations and occassionally music. It was a bit warm a few days and the fan hadn't been used in a while. Fortunately, the owner had tools and some wd40 that permitted the fan to get back up and running fine.

Comments:This was our second stay in the same apartment. I have recommended you to several others. As I mentioned to Jan, we had an issue with the keys not arriving in time and then a lot of stress involved getting in touch with your office due to flight issues and time changes. I think you need to send keys by 2 or 3 day service, most people will pay to get them in hand. I'll never go with the mail option again.

Comments:There was a deep indentation in the floor under the carpet on the right side of the bed. But the main problems were in the kitchen. Each tenant is required to wash up the dishes he/she/they use and put them back in the cupboard. There's a little disclaimer that the owner is not responsible if your predecessors did an inadequate job and you get sick. Whoever was there before us didn't do a very good job. Isn't this part of the overhead of owning an apartment? Getting somebody in to clean and wash dishes - thoroughly - after each rental? However, except for the dishes, the apartment was clean. The coffee-maker was missing its lid, so it leaked onto the countertop. We later found the lid in a cupboard; it was broken but we propped it into place, which stopped the leaking. One of the reasons we picked this apartment was because it had a washer-dryer. But the drying cycle didn't work. According to the house book, there was a drying rack under the bed. We pulled it out; it was in pieces. We tried to assemble it, but it didn't seem to go together. One of those cases where you need 5 hands. Finally we leaned it up against the wall and draped the wet clothes over it. Another annoyance was the lack of hot water at night. To save electricity, the hot water heater only heats at night. By the next evening, when we came in hot and sticky after a humid day of walking around Paris, the water was lukewarm if that. It cost us 15 euros to mail the keys back from France. (Paris was at the beginning of a monthlong trip.) I think you need to warn prospective renters of this possible expense. Also have you considered rating your rentals? I'm thinking I might look for that next time.

Comments:On arrival things seem okay. After a day you start to notice. ie Kitchen: We had to wipe out the fridge (left to defrost therefore water laying which smelt and needed to be cleaned up. When I opened the oven to use it I thought "no way" dirty!! We just bought thingsto heat in the microwave or ate out. I'll do a load of washing "no thanks" inside of washing machine had a grimy feel and after the instructions of don't do this and don't do that or it will cost you I thought I'll just hand wash the undies etc. Bathroom: Even though I had tried to look closely on the internet to see if this bathroom had mould I was wrong. I thought I would have a bath but changed my mind. There was no way I could relax in the bath and look at the mould between the shower screen and the lip of the bath, This bathroom actually needed a good clean. To be honest the apartment whilst comfortable could have done with a good clean. New furniture and curtains to not equate to cleanliness. This did not dampen our spirit after all in a week we would be out of there. Vacation Paris staff were great. Your attention to detail was great. We found the maps fantastic. For first timers in Paris we got the train from the airport used the Metro and walked to the apartment without any problems.The area was what we wanted and we were pleased. Your service we would use again. But next time another apartment.

Comments:I thouroughly enjoyed my use of the Simon Le Franc apartment. Upon entering I was a little surprised with the sparseness of furnishing (no bureau, for instance) but quickly came to realize that it had all the important things I needed and at a quality level. Above all, it was impeccably clean. The bathroom was excellent, nicely furnished even with a towel heater. All lights were new, modern and bright. It was handly having the toilet separate from the sink/bathtub. The separate kitchen was well stocked and everything worked beautifully. The master bedroom bed was very simple but had a nice firm mattress which I liked. My daughter stayed on the pull out couch which was my only minor complaint. The couch was very noisy when one turned. The location was very convenient to the subway, to grocery stores, to restaurants and to Notre Dame. We easily went everywhere from the apartment and felt safe even at night coming back late. So, in retrospect, I have to say that my experience with this apartment was just what I had hoped. I would recommend this as having just what one needs for a stay in Paris. I also want to say that the office staff were very helpful. They answered my large and small questions immediately. Having been in a similar business for most of my working life, I appreciated their quick, thorough and polite responses. They were also helpful in choosing which apt. would be right for us. I would highly recommend using this agency to help sort through the many options available.

Comments:The location is truly excellent and that is what you are paying for. The apartment is very quiet and the bed is comfortable, although it is just a mattress and box spring on the floor! The coach is absolutely nasty looking, I found a duvet in the closet Despite the length instructions, we had no trouble with hot water, the TV, neighbors or the locks. Everything went smoothly. Comments:The apartment was just great. My only complaint and this isn't about the apartment itself but rather the elevator in the building. The elevator made a very loud noise coming up but less so when it was going down. It was a bit annoying if you were trying to sleep.

Comments:The apartment was as we expected and all was in order. Having internet access was quite beneficial (you did not ask about this above). However, the amount and quality (quite chipped and cracked) of the crockery was a little disappointing. There could also have been a greater range of cutlery. But I would not like this to be the main message you take from this - we were very happy with the apartment. One matter which impressed us greatly was your high level of customer service. We received very prompt and helpful responses to every email we sent you. We received responses from several people but every one seemed to be well informed. Nothing seemed too much trouble to you and you certainly appeared very interested in satisfying our requests. Even when (only only one occassion) you did not have the information requested (the opening times of the local supermarkets), you were honest about it. This was valued highly by us and made our first Paris experience so much better - thank you again.
