Comments:We have stayed here before. Love the area. We feel very safe and at home here. The location is very central and in easy walking distance to so many of the best things to see and do in Paris. Great neighbourhoods for restaurants and walking. Bus, metro and train transportation is all close by. Noise in Paris cannot be helped. We were there in summer during a protest. When the windows are closed, there is no noise. Yes, your company does a great job. Thank you.

Comments:Location was amazing and there was plenty of space in the apartment for 4 people. We would have liked to have washclothes in addition to the hand towels and bath towels. We had requested the 2nd bedroom to be made up as 2 twin beds for our teenagers. Either this request got lost somewhere or the trundle bed in the 2nd bedroom doesn't work that way. It worked out fine because we used the sofa bed for one teen. It would have been a problem if we had 6 people instead of just 4, though. We loved the neighborhood feel of staying in an apartment instead of a hotel, and we appreciated all the up to date neighborhood information sent out by Vacations in Paris.

Comments:The building is older and showing some wear and there is peeling paint in a few spots in the apartment. This didn't bother us in the least, but I can imagine others might find that off putting. The apartment is in a fantastic location for sightseeing. We really enjoyed the easy access to the metro and, of course, it's proximity to the Louvre. The size was great for our family of 5. We'd highly recommend this apartment and truly enjoyed our stay.

Comments:The apartment was in a wonderful location, in a relatively quiet area, and amenities were adequate for our stay. Some feedback to note: - washer/dryer instructions in the book didn't match the actual machine - there were only 2 fans supplied; as the apartment is advertised for up to 6 people, there should be at least 3 fans, 1 for each sleeping area - given the heat we had to leave the windows open to sleep as the fans weren't adequate - however, the noise from in-building neighbors partying on the weekend could be heard from the courtyard and went on until 4:00am - there didn't seem to be a fan in the bathroom - bathroom tub isn't in the best condition - mirror over the sink in the toilet is hung too high to be useful - there didn't seem to be enough pillows set aside for use of the sofa bed - we had to borrow from the master bed.

Comments:The apartment was clean, well-equipped, and in a very nice area. It was in a perfect location and we did not notice any excessive noise/problems. We were able to walk everywhere (Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysees, Arc De Triomphe, Sacre Coeur, Moulin Rouge, opera national de Paris, place de invalides, Notre Dame, garden de luxembourg, Musee D'Orsay, and of course, the Louvre)! We would rent this apartment again and would certainly recommend it to a friend.

Comments:Absolutely perfect location, close to everything we wanted to see and/or do! The bedroom windows do open onto a street and are over a brasserie. Only one evening was the noise from there a little excessive but it ended by midnight and the windows did a good job of muffling the party. Used vacations in paris a few times now and have never been disappointed!!

Comments:We had a lovely stay in the Louvre appartment. We have two small children (4 and 2) and it was a nice space, with comfy beds. The apartment was quiet, well located and secure. We enjoyed walking through the market street of Rue Montorgueil, and it was easy to take the Metro and RER train (we made the trip to Paris Disneyland one day). It is a convenient location for going to the Louvre, there are good restaurants and bakeries nearby. This is a very minor point about the apartment's maintenance, but many of the halogen lights in the kitchen (3 overhead and one in the fan above the cooktop) and bathroom (one above mirror) were burned out. These were not conventional light bulbs so we did not feel comfortable changing them ourselves, but this might be something to look at for future guests. Otherwise, everything was in good working order. We have already recommended this apartment to friends.

Comments:We loved apartment 55 (louvre), it was a wonderful location and could walk to many sites, with plenty of great restaurants nearby. We stayed over Christmas and the weather outside was freezing, but inside was always lovely and warm. Our major frustration was with the internet connection. It was advertised as having a broadband connection (which was a key reason for us choosing that unit), but there is NO material in the room explaining where it is or how to use (yet there's an info folder with plenty of other information). After contacting VIP office, they told us to ring the owner. We eventually got hold of him, he told us the cable was under the TV. We tried to use it on 3 different laptops (that have always worked at plenty of other locations) but none of us could get it to work. It was very frustrating as meant we had to go out and have a much more expensive breakfast at a restaurant in order to use their wifi. Other frustration was the washing machine/dryer - very difficult to operate with unclear instructions. If these things could be corrected it would have been a perfect stay!

Comments:Staying in this apt vs a hotel was brilliant. We had our young kids with us, so this gave us the ability to have decompression space and comfortable meals in the evening. The furnishings were acceptable, a couple more games would have been nice. The location was spectacular as we were able to walk to everything we wanted to see.

Comments:Only issues are the TV and broadband system for the internet. I took a lot of playing around with the cables to figure it out. Once it was working it was fine. An easy to use TV and cable would be a plus, if only to see the news. I will not travel any other way than renting a flat from now on. More value for your money, and coming home to a "HOME" is wonderful. Everything on your wedsite is accurante, and your information packets are perfect.

Comments:Our main suggestion would be to provide a way for iPhone/smart-phone users to use the internet or wi-fi at the apartment. Even though there were great travel books available on the bookshelves, we still wanted to download onto our phones all the maps, hours of operation, etc for the places we wanted to go. It's the iPhone culture, I guess. We like being able to check our phones during the day, out and about, for where to go next, or how to find a certain street. Other small details: the apartment beds were not made up for five people, so I went ahead and made the sofa bed up. I didn't mind doing it, but I was concerned about taking linens from the closet because there were signs in English saying "don't touch" them. But obviously I needed to use them, so I hope that was ok. Also, I could not find extra garbage bags for the tall kitchen garbage pail. At the end of the trip, the bag was very full and I needed extras. Finally, we like to recycle, and we could not figure out whether there was a bin or bags for that in the apartment. Most of the trash was recyclables like bottles anyway, so I was also sad that we could not recycle them. The curtains in the bedroom with the two beds are not very securely attached to the rods, and I needed to climb up on a chair and re-attach them. Not a big deal, but one day they're going to come down again on a short guest who can't reach high enough to reattach them...;-) The location was really great, just like the Pont Neuf apartment we rented once from John Knutson (how does he acquire these locations?!). Even the cab driver said, as we were arriving at this apartment, you can't beat this Place des Victoires location. It was quiet but near small food shops and restaurants. Near the metro, near just about anything you'd need. The summer breeze circulated really nicely from the windows on each side of the apartment, cooling it down quickly when we opened them in the evening (we closed them when we were away or sleeping). We also found it really easy to rent through your company with the reservations, payment, the keys, etc. It was nice not to have to arrange to meet someone at the apartment in order to pick up the keys.

Comments:Fantastic location. Main complaint was a very slow draining plughole in the bath. Couldn't get the cable TV working, but that was not a worry. No mention of recycling rubbish (that I could see) and only realised this when emptying the first bag of rubbish. Overall a very comfortable stay.

Comments:It was a great visit. Only reason for a 9 was that there were a couple of squeeky doors. We bought a small can of oil, remedied the situation and left it there in the bathroom closet.
