Comments:Apartment 348-DaguerreChic was quite frankly everything I had hoped we'd experience in Paris. From the beautiful rue Daguerre right round the corner with it's fresh fruit & vegetable stalls, cheese shop, boulangerie's and cafes to the quiet streets with independent stores; La Petite Lumiere (quintessential bookshop), Mint & Lilies, and other beautiful linen and homewares shops. We greatly appreciated the quiet neighborhood and fantastic proximity to two Monoprix's (mini grocery stores). The winding staircase (elevator when suitcases and shopping are too heavy), classic French architecture of the building and comfort of the apartment made it a wonderful base. The excellent Musee de la Liberation is a lovely 10 minute stroll away, and the Catacombs are literally right across the road. The 14th Arrondissement has much to commend it, and is truly an easy distance from all the major sights in the center of Paris; either by reliable Ubers or by the Metro which is about two blocks from the Apartment. I stumbled on Vacation in Pari's website after several worrying attempts to book thru big websites. From the start they were very reassuring and through - we will definitely (& perhaps exclusively!) use them again.

Comments:We absolutely loved our time in this fantastic apartment! It is extremely spacious and well furnished.
The location is excellent, especially being, you are close to the metro. Lots of great restaurants and
La Deguerre Street is so much fun. I highly recommend this apartment in this rental company! Love this company, so reliable, easy to work with, and pleasant!

Comments:This is a wonderful apartment. It worked well for two couples because we could separate one section of the apartment from another. The kitchen served us well. Good sized fridge, ability to heat up the delights we gathered from the Rue Daguerre market, and all the dishware you need to really live in Paris while you're there. The area is generally quiet, a bit away from the maddening crowds, and well-served by metro and bus. Highly recommend the RATP app for getting around.
There were a couple things that needed attention--Tania was aware of the door to the washing machine, and she quickly replaced the house phone when we discovered it wasn't working. I feel very fortunate to be able to stay in places like this in Paris and highly recommend VIP and this apartment

Comments:We spent the month of April at the Rue Daguerre apartment and loved it. Although it was located one block off a very busy boulevard, the noise was minimal, with the exception of an occasional siren. Also, despite its location above a motorcycle repair shop and next a building under renovation, we found the unit to be very quiet and peaceful.
The kitchen was well-equipped, which was a bonus for us since we prefer to cook our meals in. The owner left us with instructions for all the appliances and electronics -- in multiple languages and we found everything we needed to prepare and serve our meals. There were even some pantry staples left for us to use.
The apartment was beautifully furnished, and extremely spacious by Parisian standards. There was an abundance of beautiful, unique art, and many of the original architectural features in the unit. Our only concern was that the chairs/sofas, while beautiful, were not particularly comfortable for our older spines.
Probably the most appreciated aspect of this apartment is its location, just one block off the Rue Daguerre pedestrian shopping market, with a wide variety of food shops, restaurants and cafes. There were even three small "supermarkets" within a 6-block stretch of Rue Daguerre for cleaning supplies and other grocery staples. We particularly enjoyed chatting with the food vendors about the best way to prepare the meats, cheeses, and produce they sold. And we loved our quest for the best bakery and pastry shop on the street.
The neighborhood was just that -- a neighborhood with few tourists. However, the popular museums and tourist attractions were only a short ride -- bus, Metro or Uber -- away. We would caution against renting a car while staying at this apartment, because parking was very limited on the street and there were quite a few residential buildings on that block. We two "old ladies" always felt safe in the neighborhood and even developed a casual acquaintance with some of the business owners and the men in the motorcycle repair shop below our apartment.
Having the City Manager available to us, greeting us at check-in, as well as dropping by to troubleshoot the occasional issue, was a huge benefit for us. We really enjoyed getting to know Tania, and appreciated the opportunity to learn more about everyday Parisian life through her experiences. We also enjoyed having access, via Vacations in Paris, to a cleaning service (which we hired to clean the unit halfway through our stay), and the airport transfer company. We were assigned a driver, who not only picked us up on arrival and returned us to CDG at the end of our stay, but also served as our private driver on two separate occasions for day trips. Hiring the driver for those two day trips turned out to be a great decision -- it allowed us to maximize our time, and see a bit more of the countryside than simply taking a train. We were particularly appreciative of the driver during our CDG drop-off, because he took the time to stay with us during a very long check-in process and made sure we got to the security area before he left.
Overall, we would highly recommend the Rue Daguerre apartment to anyone who wants to get a feel for living in Paris, rather than simply being a tourist in Paris. We would love to return to that apartment and to that neighborhood in the future. We truly loved the apartment and neighborhood and speak often about how much we enjoyed our time there.

Comments:My only regret that the accommodation is unsuitable for children as we often take our grandaughter on holiday. I do understand the reasons for the "no children" rule, howver, as many fragile objects are at a low level.

Comments:This apartment was fantastic. It is a little off the beaten path, but that means we were away from all the crowds. The bus was 1 block from the apartment and was a direct route to the D?Orsay Museum on the Seine. The neighborhood was fantastic with easy access to stores and great restaurants.
It was a pleasure to stay there and we will definitely stay again in this wonderful apartment. Great apartment! Amazing stay in Paris.

Comments:This was an exceptional rental. Location, elevator, shopping, proximity to the Metro all made this a perfect getaway. If I were to nit pick, the only recommendation would be to get a larger coffee pot as the one available is only enough for two persons. I was a bit hesitant at first to have an apartment in the Montparnasse area as it it is far from the typical tourist haunts, but this area is lively, has plenty of shopping and eclectic restaurants as well as traditional fare. Two Monoprix are within blocks for everyday shopping and the lack of heavy tourist traffic in the post pandemic rush was a welcome respite. Parc Montsouris is a pleasant and scenic walk of only about 15 minutes. The property manager was pleasant, helpful and available if and when needed. I would highly recommend this apartment.

Comments:We loved our time in this apartment. It was beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable and quiet. Having the metro and RER so close was important as we arrived and left from CDG. Rue deguerre was a great street for all our needs. Also I loved visiting the Sat market at Vannes, about 20 minutes walk from the apartment. Wonderful place if you like to search for old glass and interesting objects.

Comments:The apartment is simply delightful, very comfortable and beautifully appointed. The location is in a quiet, local neighborhood, which we loved. I suggest future guests take advantage of the shuttle service, available through your website. Very easy, safe and efficient transfer to/from train stations or airport while lugging too much luggage!

Comments:Loved the apartment and the neighborhood. I would have liked a drip coffee maker as I did not like using the express machine for my morning coffee. Not convenient for several people wh9 drink coffee.
There is a fan that runs all the time in the master bathroom. Light sleepers would find this annoying but it was okay for me.
I would definitely return. You can use me as a reference

Comments:Since the apartment has no AC, it would be nice to provide an extra fan for the 2nd bedroom. It was very hot during our visit and we had to open the windows at night, and the noise from the streets and the two restaurants across the street made it harder to sleep well. Everything is excellent. Very reasonably priced apartment in a super convenient location. It was clean and tastefully decoration, very comfortable with lots of space for our family of 4. We really enjoyed staying there. Thank you!

Comments:The apartment surpassed all of our expectations ? from the excellent and convenient location, easy access to buses, metro and RER, proximity to great food shopping in rue Daguerre, to the stylish and comfortable furnishings, exquisite artworks, more than amply equipped high-tech kitchen and a plethora of useful guidebooks on Paris, and last not least the attentive and prompt service and support provided by the local manager!
