Comments:This is our second time staying in this apartment and our third time renting from Vacation in Paris. Although the apartment is small, everything works and it is very handy to everything. Only problem this time and last is someone in the apartments in the back who likes to party into the night with loud stereo, etc. Both this time and last I had to go outside of our apartment and yell (in French) to stop, which they finally did. Another good suggestion would be to have an outside light for the cottage which would be very helpful at night because it is quite dark at the door. We carried a small flashlight with us so we could see after dark. Vacation in Paris is a great company. All three times we have had satisfaction with our reservation and our stay. We will certainly continue to use your services in the future and will recommend you to our friends. Thank you!

Comments:already,did survey, but wanted to comment; it is not my custom to leave responses, but i knew that i could help some folks. we loved our stay in paris. it was my wife and i and two college age daughters. the room would be perfect for a couple, but was sufficient for us. i would encourage EVERYONE to thoroughly read the sent material and then the manual in apt upon arrival. any issue we had was solved by the material. especially the front door, if i had read the sent material i would not have had the problems opening it upon arrival. we loved the location, it was a little noisy on the weekend but bareable. the wifi was more than sufficient. the phones were a little tricky and we decideded not to mess with them. we took the RER B from CDG to the ST. Michael/Notre Dame stop; please note there IS an elevator at this stop, but you must look for it. a elevator sign and the words rue(street) xavier privas. this elevator will dump you out only a block from the apt. i would encourage anyone to go on google map and put in the address and look for street view: this helped TREMENDOUSLY in knowing that i was in the right location; i was able to use the restaurants around as a point of reference. we would definitely use this apt again and the VIP service. if someone wants to email about our trip, i am more than welcome to respond

Comments:We loved the property, but would want to try another property for our next visit; it's not because of a negative experience with this apartment - we just like to experience different parts of the city. The apartment was a little noisy on weekend nights (neighbors having parties/listening to music). We were pleasantly surprised with how quiet it was in the courtyard compared to the street.

Comments:It was not clear on the website that there was a window between the two rooms. It ended up being fine, but we had thought that we were going to have 2 more separate rooms. It was a great price and a great neighborhood. It was very nice for me and my friends, college students traveling on a budget.

Comments:This is a delightful cottage in the very heart of the Latin quarter, freshly decorated, painted. It could not be more delightful, except for the noise. The noise doesn't bother me, but if noise at night keeps you awake, this may not be the apartment for you. The noise is not from the street, it is from the building itself, and it is powerful Latin beats and music. You can hear the m.c. clearly. One night during my stay this continued until dawn. I do not find this a problem: I was up for business work anyway. If the noise does not bother you, this apartment is a real treat.

Comments:Towels - Since we stayed a week, it would have been nice to have a clean set halfway through the week. I'd like to suggest that the owner put a mat inside the door. It rained while we were in Paris and it would have been nice to have a mat to dry our shoes. A chair in the living area would be good as well.

Comments:I would qualify my "yes" answers that I would use the property again and recommend it to friends due to the pounding noise from another unit in the building late into the night (two nights in a row). One night the booming noise continued into the early hours of the morning, making it impossible to sleep. With the exception of inconsiderate neighbors, the experience was lovely. The cottage was delightful and the location in central Paris was perfect. It was a real bonus to receive keys in the US and have a US agent to set up our contract. Returning the keys was efficient. The welcoming bottle of wine was a nice touch. We were very happy with our "Vacation in Paris" experience.

Comments:Yes, there was some noise at night from the night club next door but with the central location perhaps this is to be expected. The building complex was often quite lively and at times conversations and children were quite audible during the day but neighbors were generally friendly.

Comments:unfortunately, there were two items that had been advertised as included in the apartment but they were not . fortunately the excellent property manager was able to address one of the issues immediately . overall we were very pleased .

Comments:there is no way this apartment can be comfortable for 4 people. the sofabed is new, but not comfortable to sleep on. more chairs for the kitchen wouldn't hurt, but there is no space to put them in. this property would be excellent for 1-2 people, though

Comments:The location is great and we spent most of our time outside of the apartment, so we appreciated it's central location in the Latin Quarter. We found it to be a bit dark and isolated in the middle of the courtyard, and the entrance was strange but manageable. The screaming child and neighbors were a problem for us when we were in the apartment, as well as the nightclub music which went on all night. We also felt that it was a bit cramped for 3 of us when the sleeper sofa was made into a bed. It would be more comfortable for 2 people. On the positive side, it was very clean and decorated stylishly and well outfitted with everything we needed, and as previously mentioned, the location was fantastic.

Comments:A little better direction to apartment included in the notes, like next to the chocolate shop or across from _______ restaraunt would be nice. Apartment door could have a number on it and a light installed outside of door. Apartment upstairs had music blaring several nights till 2am-5am in morning. A small bench under window would be nice. We enjoyed our stay in the apartment.

Comments:Location was ideal - great neighbourhood. A little tough to find the door and the key to the entrance of the unit was tricky. Hard to exit quickly should the event arise. Thank you for the bottle of wine - a rose is not the best option in my opinion and we ended up leaving ours behind. But we appreciated the gesture, it was a nice tough upon arrival. This rental is very, very damp. Clothes smelled damp after only staying there a few days. Hard to dry out the room after a shower due to outside noise and inability to open the windows. Noise coming from a neighbouring unit (screaming child) was almost non-stop during the hours we were there. This was extremely disapointing. Both of us are parents of children but this was beyond reasonable. Noise from a club on the Friday evening went to almost 4am. A subtle pounding base that proved difficult to ignore. The bed was very dense and hard to get comfortable. Bathroom was very nice, towels good and general internal layout fine. Lastly the telephone within the unit could not be located. We would not return to this unit nor would we recommend it to anyone. Response from VIP was good and fairly prompt.

Comments:Access was odd - it would take a unique type of individual to appreciate the value. Location was superb!!!!! Felt secure and safe. Shower was nice. Crying children can be annoying for some - we ignored the children. The safe was odd - really wasn't able to understand the directions.
