Comments:The apartment was generally very nice and clean, and had all the essentials we needed for our stay. The only think I might mention is that noise from inside the building was sometimes quite loud. The apartment is near the building entrance and sometimes people were coming and going quite late and made little effort to be quiet. It was by no means a constant problem but enough that we noticed it several times. Not really a big deal for us in the end, we still slept well.

Comments:As discussed via email: The pull down bed was missing a screw in the corner meaning it would not stand. Half of this was found in the kitchen drawer, the other half in the bed base. (I do not know how the fitted sheet was changed without this being noticed). The toilet lid was missing a bolt on one side (not much of a problem). There was no tea towel and no bottle of wine. After complaining about this the owner replied that we had soiled a duvet, taken a duvet cover and stained some towels (the hand towels did have removable make up on them). This has marred our experience. I was very disappointed as we take such care when staying in peoples properties. I would recommend VIP. I loved the info pack, and receiving the keys prior was great. It was easy, the staff have been professional and helpful. The upper marais location was perfect and I quite enjoyed the noises, I felt liek I could hear 'the streets of paris'. This was enjoyable to us. I feel as if we are being scammed by the owner of the property. We have no use for a well used duvet cover, we also did not stain the duvet. I hope these issues can be resolved shortly as the process seems to be dragging out over an extended period of time (of no fault of VIP, the owner has been away)
