Comments:We spent a delightful week in this apartment. The location was fantastic, the bed large and extremely comfortable and the size of the apt. quite spacious. There is only one problem. It is EXTREMELY dangerous to get into and out of the bathtub/ shower. My 6 ft 6 husband was able to get in and out by being very careful. I (5 ft 2) was unable to get out of the tub without help from my husband. I contacted VIP and within 24 hours, they had the local supervisor purchase a bathmat. That did help somewhat.Overall, I loved the apartment. But senior citizens (even in very good shape) might find this extremely difficult. At the very least, the owners should add a bar to hold on to when exiting the tub. It is a pleasure dealing with VIP.

Comments:We very much enjoyed our stay in this apartment. there were many restaurants nearby, bakeries and the supermarket just down the block. Metro was a block away and several bus lines nearby. we were very comfortable inside the apartment. Only drawback was the noise late at night if we kept the windows open. we would stay here again should have instructions for using the washer and dryer, and instructions for using the stove.

Comments:The only complaint about this apartment were the pillows- they were awful, but that was easily fixed by buying a few at Monoprix. This was our second time using Vacation in Paris and it is always such an easy process. This apartment is in a great location. The Odeon Metro station is literally less than a 5 minute walk, and the St Michel station is less than 10. You can walk to so many areas from this apartment. There is a Monoprix and Carre Four grocery store within walking distance also. You just can't beat this apartment!

Comments:We had a great time, the location was perfect. Had a little trouble trying to understand how the heater worked but once we did, it worked like a charm. This is the way to go if you have kids. We loved the apt and cracked up at the tiny elevator. We also loved the Mazet! Jerry is the best.

Comments:The bidet nor the towel warmer worked. This was disappointing and no mention of them were in the book. Plus the TVs were extremeley outdated and not really too usable. The bunk bed room didn't have curtains on them nor blinds which wasn't ideal. But the location is phenomenal, and everything else worked well. Overall good location and nice apartment.

Comments:Though the property was a bit noisy in the later evening (outside dining, voices, not nightclubs or parties), I understood when I booked that there was no air conditioning and that this is a city center apartment. VIP staff was great. Appreciate the detailed arrival instructions and house book. I understand there is some controversy with short term rentals in Paris now but I felt secure that VIP would take care of us to the best of their ability and we had absolutely no issues with neighbours. Happy to act as a reference as I really appreciated being able to email a few former clients. Feel free to share with anyone who inquires specifically about the apartment.

Comments:The shower was hard to regulate. The hot water was not constant. Poor shower flow. Floor flooded when using shower. Use of shower curtain and glass panel was awkward. Also, the high tub was difficult (and potentially dangerous) to get in and out of .... potential renters (think seniors) should be so advised. Great location for renters who want a tourist location. However, not well located if you want to be in a "locals" location. Apartment can use a set up to easily charge electronic devices. PS. You "guy" are very easy to work with.

Comments:If the hot water in the kitchen sink and heat for drying towels were fixed, I would HIGHLY recommend, for a couple or a couple with two young children, or a couple. My son and his 16 year old son comfortably shared the large bed in the master bedroom. I weigh 100 lbs and am 5'2" so was the bottom bunk bed was ok for me, but just barely. I would not hesitate to use Vacation in Paris to book again. And Donna Reynolds was outstandingly responsive during the selection and booking process.

Additionally, I found the Vacation in Paris office staff in NJ to be very helpful. We weren't sure if the recycling containers were for bottles only or if we could also recycle paper products.

Comments:The location of this apartment is absolutely perfect. One pleasant and fairly short walk is all it takes to arrive at any of the favorite landmarks of Paris. There is a street market just around the corner for fresh produce, along with a boulangerie, patisserie, charcuterie, chocolaterie, flower vendor, and a full-service Carrefour. It only takes a few minutes to walk with the children to the Luxembourg Gardens on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Looking out of the windows, onto the Cour du Commerce Saint-Andr

Comments:We were there over a week-end and there was alot of noise outside because there are quite a few bars and restaurants in a close vicinity. It did not bother us at all but I would think some people would be bothered by it. The location could not be beat and I loved being in the thick of things. THe apartment was very clean, the beds were very comfortable. the towels could have been thicker and bigger.

Garbage: the door to the trash bins is often locked; one of the restaurant owner did help us with his key. Your memo should mention this. WIFI: the first day, we tried 3 times to connect, without success. We got connected the second day.

Comments:Considering that we were there for a week there weren't many clean towels. And without a washer we couldn't wash the ones that were there. The bed was sitting on the floor without a frame which made it awkward and uncomfortable to get in and out of. It was somewhat noisy at night from the street below but since it was cool we shut the windows and that blocked the noise. Also, the umbrella provided was broken.

Comments:The apartment was easy to get to, easy to utilize and very centrally located. We loved the area that the apartment was in. Drawbacks were we couldn't figure out how to use the clothes washer in the bathroom closet, there weren't very many towels and we had to really search for them (found them in the master bedroom closet), and the phone didn't work (we were trying to call a few local places and had to ultimately use our cell phone). Also the second bedroom was soooooo small and the closets were locked the luggage for the two people sleeping in there had to be in the living room. The master bedroom has very very very loud creaky floors. But they are old floors so no biggie. LOVED the fact that we didn't hear any street traffic as we've stayed in Paris before and that was the #1 reason we couldn't sleep well. The windows were excellent because when they were closed, you couldn't hear anything down below. The pedestrian alley below was really great. Very easy to get to the grocery store (though the written directions were a little confusing so had to ask around when we were on the street). Great restaurants, cafes, ice cream shops, etc. So easy to get to Metro stations. Overall a super great experience. Great overall experience with VIP. I'd say that the sending of the key in the mail needs to be a little more thorough...meaning at least put a tracking number or delivery confirmation on it if you're going to send it thru USPS. The key took a very long time to reach us and it didn't arrive until the day before we were to board a 7:30am flight. Tracking the key is also important so you know whether someone actually did receive it or not. Just a thought. I'd gladly pay a few extra bucks to have it sent FedEx or UPS to ensure it's arrival in a timely manner.

Comments:The bed was very, very hard. Some of the fittings/renovations were quite cheap and did not quite work (eg electrical wall plugs; shower screen). Lack of washing machine and clothes drier is an issue in Paris. The apartment is situated a few levels above a few night-clubs/bars that were very noisy at night - would cause problems for family with children. Double glazing the windows would remove this problem. The apartment is very large, for Paris, with a lot of space to move around. The location is great, apart from noise from the bars at night (some nights). Great view from windows - made you feel you were in Paris, even when inside the apartment. We would recommend the apartment to others, but warn them about the bed and the noise. We would consider using the apartment again, despite the very hard bed, although it is not our favourite Vacations in Paris apartment. If the bed was replaced and double glazing fitted to the windows the apartment would be very good. Second bedroom is very small, although this wasnt a problem because there were only two of us staying there.

It was quiet, safe and close to so many conveniences: restaurants, grocery stores, metro, sites! We truly were delighted and thought the value was exceptional for this property for our family of 4. We have sung your praises to all of our friends who wanted to know about our trip.
