Comments:The location of the apt. was fabulous! We would stay again. A couple of suggestions....more towels for 3 women would have been nice. We made do and it wasn't a huge problem. Also, an additional mirror outside the bathroom would be great. It would allow the ladies to have another spot to put on makeup besides the bathroom. Was tight for the 3 of us. I noticed as I was reading other reviews on this apt., that the artwork was mentioned. I would have to agree with the comments there as well....it's really bad. Some cute prints of Paris would go a long way towards fixing that.

Comments:One of the people in my party was disabled, so we needed to meet several special criteria that seemed impossible to find in one place in Paris--we needed a place with an elevator, an air conditioner, and a location RIGHT next to public transportation (as in, 1-2 blocks maximum--not counting subways, because this person isn't able to take stairs); we preferred a place within walking distance of the Louvre, Orsay, and restaurants. The other traveler in my group also had serious spinal issues so also needed a good-quality bed/mattress. (A thin sofa roll-out wasn't going to cut it.) On top of all of this, we were traveling on a budget. Nonetheless, VIP quickly found a PERFECT spot for us--just across the Seine from the Louvre, only 0.5 blocks from a bus stop (and 2 short blocks from a stop for numerous other buses that came frequently), down the road from the Louvre, walkable to cafes, restaurants, and a big grocery store (handy, since the apartment has a kitchen). The elevator worked great and the bed was very comfortable--I wish I owned a comforter like that at home! I have nothing negative to say about VIP and would recommend them to anyone visiting Paris. We look forward to using them the next time we're in "town"!

Comments:The apartment was exactly as pictured. It's not fancy, but comfortable. It had a lot of beautiful natural light. This is my fourth time in Paris, and always in this district.but this is the first time we rented an apartment. It had a nespresso machine making breakfast a special treat which you could enjoy in a leisure in a comfortable setting. Androuet cheese shop was on the same street in the next block as well as many patisseries and boulangeres where you could buy fresh bread etc. Pierre Hereme does not have a cafe so it was great to buy some pastry and enjoy it with an espresso in your own apartment. The apartment had everything you needed to make a simple meal. Modern Ikea dishes were great. The apartment is a great location being close to the metro and some of the museums and the department store, Bon Marche as well as some nice restaurants. I would gladly stay here again. From CDG we took the RER B and the Metro #4.After getting our luggage it took 90 min to get the the apartment. It was easy and I would do that again. I only have one negative comment. The pillows. I'm wasn't expecting a down pillow, but foam pillows that had gotten dense were not the most comfortable to sleep on especially the first night. Maybe they just need to be changed for newer ones.

Comments:Although the room was clean and orderly, the staircase and hallways in the building were dusty and rather shabby. It looks like a lot of construction was being done and that the hallway was not finished yet. On the last two days of our visit it looks like some concrete and tile work was being done to the entrance walkway from the street door to the building door. This meant that when we were moving out we had to get our suitcases across a 2 meter long narrow wood plank and the workman there were not too helpful in assisting. Certainly the owner of the property can do construction on his property, I just feel that there should have been better provisions for guests made when the only entrance is made into a construction site.

Comments:At 2:30 a.m. on each of two cold midwinter nights some youthful, nonmelodic voices attempted to sing in high volume from somewhere in nearby streets. Yes, I really appreciate the mailing to me of a coat, scarf, and gloves left behind in the apartment when we departed. It was service beyond the expected. The location two blocks from the Louvre and the Musee d'Orsay is hard to beat. The price was very reasonable. The place beat a rectangular hotel room by a kilometer!

Comments:It would have been very helpful to have had an electric heater. The days we were there were quite wet. 4 very wet people in a tiny apartment with no heater was not great! The manager told us the building heating gets turned on in November and there was no other option for drying shoes or clothes. A small electric blow heater costs virtually nothing but can add a lot of comfort and convenience value. Also the door lock - it was very difficult until we got the hang of it. I did spend 2 hours on the landing one evening with a crying child because we couldn't get in and had to wait for my husband to come home and wrangle it. The manager should have spent more time with us showing us the trick to it. As it was she let us in and was gone. You provide an excellent service. This was the 2nd time we have used your booking service and we were very pleased with it. The apartment was in a fabulous location and suited our needs perfectly.

Comments:Perfect Location. Great place. We liked it very much. Two things: The sofa bed is way too soft. It is not run down or old. Simply "extra soft category". The other thing are the wall photos. God they are ugly! But these are minor, insignificant factors. We are perfectly happy with your services and you will here from us again.

Comments:My adult daughter and I stayed in this apartment for 3 nights at the start of our 2 week French vacation. It worked perfectly for us. The location is central and since it was my daughter's first trip to Paris, we were able to walk all the major destinations. The apartment is comfortable with enough space for 2 women - that means the bathroom was spacious by French standards! There is an elevator which is a plus for American women who have not mastered traveling lightly. We felt safe, slept comfortably and appreciated having more space than a hotel. This apartment had everything we needed, is clean, quiet and comfortable but is not luxurious. Not that it detracted from the practicality of the accomodations, but the artwork is terrible. The windows look out on a courtyard with the largest pigeons I have ever seen in my life! I had no idea pigeons could cooo that loudly especially in such a busy urban setting! This location and the apartment suited our purposes well and we enjoyed our stay in Paris. I would consider staying here again should we have the opportunity to return.

Comments:The apartment was terrific. The initial attempt to use the key was a little frustrating, but the advice to keep fiddling was helpful. The bed was too soft for our taste but otherwise comfortable. The advice on using the washer/dryer was VERY confusing. When we got there, the towels in the dryer were still wet, and we were unable to figure out out to put on the "dry only" option. One confusing aspect was that there is no information about the role of the "on/off" button on the right hand side. We called the manager, who tried to help over the phone, but that didn't work out (the dry only option started a wash cycle). He came over the next day while we were out but concluded there was no problem because the towels were dry. As we explain to him later on the phone, they were dry because we put them on the radiators to dry. However, the problem with the washer/dryer was the only real problem, and we did succeed in doing a laundry with the complete wash/dry cycle later in the week, using the radiator to finish off the drying. More generally, it really isn't OK to find wet towels when one arrives. Just get a second set if there isn't enough time to dry the towels before the next occupants arrive. In every other respect the apartment exceeded our expectations. The location is wonderful, and we loved the charcuterie down the street, called Maison Guyard. You should recommend it in the notes. The location is wonderful, and the apartment is quite quiet except for some revelry in the streets that occurred after midnight several times while we were there. It certainly was quiet enough for us. We highly recommend the limo service you recommended. Sorry not to offer to serve as a reference. We value our privacy too much. However, we would recommend this apartment to any of our friends or acquaintances, as well as Vacation in Paris.

Comments:The layout was difficult in that the bathroom was only accessible through the bedroom. For only two people this would have been all right, but we were three. Now that the second sofa bed has been replaced by a bed, the available space will be even smaller. The cleaner was very friendly and nice.

Comments:The carpet on the hall stairs is damaged and caution is advised -- it appears that they may be planning to replace it. The overall condition of the apartment was not rated a 10 only because a couple of the light fixtures did not work; otherwise it was in great condition. The plan to replace the sleeper couch with a bed will make it easier to get in and out, but the sleeper couch was very comfortable. This is a very comfortable apartment that is light and airy; for those that can't take the stairs, there is an elevator. It is located on a quiet street but services are nearby. The location is terrific for the 6th and 7th arr. and the view on the courtyard is very nice. It was close to the Seine but far enough to be away from the noise.

Comments:We were extremely satisfied with our stay in the apartment. The location was fantastic, the apartment itself was very comfortable and spacious for Paris and excellent value for money. We were thankful for the newly-installed elevator. The kitchen was fantastic and had nearly everything you could want. The only thing that wasn't ideal was the very squeaky floor in the lounge room. We were probably more sensitive about this due to our baby. Other than that, fantastic!

Comments:This is a great little apartment on a quiet street that felt safe. It was nice to have near-by shops and restaurants. Having Metro stops and additional stores and sights within a short walk made getting around convenient. The information in the apartment about everything you'd need to know (appliances, recommended shops and restaurants, etc.) was most helpful. I would stay here again for sure if I return to Paris. The professionalism of Vacation in Paris is obvious from the first contact. I will come to you first if I have a need for a rental in the future. Thank you!

Comments:The couch and chair were very comfortable. There was a bit of street noise associated with the memorial wall on the weekends, but generally it was a very quite location. The courtyard setting provided a good buffer from the usual street noise. The owner's representative informs us that an elevator is planned for. All in all, an excellent balance of cost, location and condition. We would be happy to stay here on our next trip to Paris. I liked having the key in hand when we arrived in Paris. This is particularly nice when travel is running late and phone access is not always easy to coordinate with the apartment manager.

Comments:The apartment was great in all respects! Two only slight drawbacks: 1) there was no "hot" water; the best we ever got for a shower or bath was tepid or lukewarm 2) neighbour: the woman living in the flat by the outsi door. The neighbour living in the flat next to the door to the street has obviously had some issues with people disturbing her getting into the flat. The first time I used the street door key it was not at all easy to figure out. I tried for a few minutes without managing to open THE door. Suddenly the door was flung open from the inside and the woman shouted at me and my children "WHAT IS SO DIFFICULT ABOUT OPENING THIS DOOR? ITS JUST A SIMPLE KEY, WHAT'S THE MATTER WITH YOU?" She was obviously angry and extremely rude. I said I was sorry to have disturbed her; without replying she went back in to her apartment and slammed the door. We could hear her shouting for quite a while afterwards about these stupid English people... we were stunned and for the rest of the week tiptoed past the "dragon lady's" door. I would offer this advice for people opening the door for the first time (once you get how it works its easy): put the key GENTLY into the lock. Do NOT push the door or pull it towards you - DO pull the key itself a tiny bit out once you've pushed it fully, then gently turn. If it doesn't open, experiment with the position of the key in the lock, NOT the position of the door itself. When you get it, it will turn easily.
