Comments:Perfect location l! Walking distance to a lot of wonderful sights, cafes and restaurants, but also easy access to the metro. The apartment was spacious and comfortable for the two of us. The weather was quite hit during our stay and the two small fans struggled to keep the apartment cool. Access to a portable air conditioner or even larger fans would improve comfort.

Comments:The refrigerator didn?t have a freezer. In this trip we didn?t need a freezer. However, there was an ice maker on the kitchen counter. The dark curtain in the bedroom was nice to blockout the light. They didn?t have proper blankets. The furnishing was outdated. Excellent location. Jan at VIP was wonderful and so helpful. Comments:Being able to step outside the apartment and seeing the Seine AND Notre Dame is breath taking! Having a wonderful agent who handles all of our needs from setting up transportation from airport to apartment, changing the total of rental and gives you a phenomenal amount of good to excellent restaurants is THE person you want to deal with - JAN ! Transportation was excellent in the area. The Metro had several entries within a few blocks and, of course, taxis we also good. Diane & I would love to go back to Paris and it would hopefully be at our same VRBO apartment and if we go else where we can rent through "Vacation in Paris". I'd strongly recommend it! C'est magnifique!! One VERY small suggestion. Can the lights in the bathroom be increased some? Taking care of your face - both man and women is important.

Comments:This apartment was exactly as the owner described. Great central location with easy access to restaurants, bars, markets and public transportation. It is very spacious and came equipped with everything we needed to start our stay in Paris. We wanted to be in the heart of Saint Germain, even though we knew that meant staying in a busy neighborhood. Much to our delight, the apartment was very peaceful and quiet with the windows closed and even more so in the bedroom which was set back from the street and overlooked the building?s courtyard. The customer service was fantastic and the check in process was very easy. We would absolutely stay here again.

Comments:I would only recommend the property with a few reservations. There is no freezer, so the only way to make ice cubes is with a cumbersome machine, and there is no way to store frozen food, ice cream, etc. There is no air conditioning and the bedrooms can be hot. See above.

Comments:We have rented apartments in Paris for many years and ALWAYS had problems with one thing or another not being right. We've had noisy places, dirty places, places with dishonest owners and managers, etc. You name it, we suffered with it. But then we found Vacation in Paris and have never been so happy. They deliver on everything they say, PERIOD. The place we rent is exactly right for us in every way. Now, as soon as we know our dates for the next year, we just book with them and we know everything will be done the right way. With them, we always feel like we just won the Paris Vacation Apartment Lottery !!!

Comments:This is one of the best possible locations to stay in Paris. Right at the corner of the Pont Neuf bridge and Rue Dauphine is a great place to access the St. Germain district, museums and other sights, and metro and train transportation. The apartment is very comfortable, and the bedroom is in a quiet alcove off the street. We felt right at home in this apartment, and the owner's manager met us and showed us how to work all of the appliances. It was a wonderful stay, and we would stay here again in the future.

Comments:Everything was great as always! Only issue with the kitchen is the lack of a freezer but we were fine with the ice maker. This was our 3rd year at this property, & we will probably return! The only issue that would prevent us from returning is the lack of air conditioning. Luckily we came between two hot spells-but I can't think that the fans in the apt. could have handled those temperatures. If there is any way to put A.C. in the bedroom it would be much more re-assuring. Unfortunately, Paris weather/climate does seem to be changing.

Comments:We have been renting an apartment in Paris for our annual vacation there for many years. Each year we go through the generally unpleasant and time consuming experience of our annual search to look for another place to rent. . For the first time EVER, we feel like we have found that place. Add to that the fact that EVERYONE we were in touch with from your organization was wonderful to us, and we feel like we won the ?Paris Apartment Lottery !!! The apartment itself couldn't have been better in all of the ways that are important to us. Those include location, quiet at night, clean, well appointed, comfortable furnishings, working electrical outlets and lighting, a TV with English speaking channels, and a phone that we could use to call our French friends as well as numbers back home in the U.S.A. We really appreciate all of the effort that your people put into making our visit special. Thanks to all of you for that.

Comments:My only real complaint was an odor that I finally concluded must have come from whatever was used to clean the floors. We enjoyed this apartment and the location so much. We could have used one other comfortable chair for sitting and reading, and a couple of little end tables so you could sit on the couch and have a cup of tea or coffee and a place to set books, etc. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. Also I would suggest having some kind of broom and dustpan to clean up the floor in case of spills, etc. I don't think we realized how really wonderful the apartment renting experience was until we had to stay the next week in tiny hotel rooms. We would definitely rent something like this next time we come to France. Thanks!

Comments:I am sorry that I took so long to write a review. We loved this apartment and location! It was nicely decorated and very clean. Easy walk to Notre Dame, the Luxembourg Gardens & San Chapelle. Lock Bridge was across the street. Train stations were close by, so we were able to get around the city easily. Loved that there was a grocery store, lots of restaurants and Amorino's around the corner on Rue de Buci. We were not able to get the sofa bed to open, and were so busy everyday, that we kept forgetting to call the property manager. There was a lot of street noise when the windows were open, but we didn't hear anything in the bedroom. Our 18 year old daughter slept on the sofa bed, and she didn't seem to mind the noise. Overall, the apartment was a wonderful place to come home to at the end of each day.

Comments:We loved the apartment and would definitely come back. It's nicely furnished, has great windows that open onto the quai, is convenient to shopping--including the large food store Carrefour, and is very conveniently located near several Metro lines. One quirk is that the refrigerator has no freezer compartment and to compensate, the owners have an ice machine in the kitchen which has directions you need to follow--but you could not keep ice cream or any other freezer items. This did not affect us at all, but I guess it could affect some people. The dishwasher is small but excellent. The views are lovely and the elevator, although small, is extremely convenient. There is also a phone for local use in the apt. Highly recommend. We did end up buying a few things--there were very few usable wine glasses and so we purchased an inexpensive set--along with some cloth napkins.

Comments:Excellent location and good apartment for 2 adults. Furniture very tasteful. Local vacation in Paris staff helpful and easy to work with. We have rented twice and never had problem with outside noise although on both occasions there was some construction in the apartment above during the weekdays that created some noise. But nights are quiet and no problem sleeping. Firm mattress The kitchen space is small but certainly useable. But some easy upgrades could be made here that would help. An ice cube maker was added but takes up a lot of counter space that is in short supply -- not sure it is needed. However kitchen would benefit from having some having a few more basic kitchen tools -- as it is now just one large knife for cooking. Also could use a bread knife, smaller cutting knife, pepper grinder, vegetable peeler and maybe a even cheese grater in the best of all worlds.

The building was well maintained. The location was close to shopping and transportation. The pillows were dense and possibly more variety should be made available. The couch was tired and lumpy but comfortable. We with these shortcomings we would rebook this apartment if we returned to Paris.

Comments:The unit was overall quite acceptable. Our main complaint (given our age) was that it was too far from the Metros for us. However, I suspect that would not be an issue for most people, and but for that comment, the location was very good. The reason for no response on the noise from inside issue is that we did notice the people in the unit above us fairly early in the morning on several occasions, but those noises were not due to normal walking about etc.; nothing offensive. Other than that, the unit was very satisfactory from a noise standpoint, with respect to inside and outside noise.

The concierge or living person downstairs in the building entrance was quite helpful too. For instance, the code for the main entrance door was in error in your documents (I left a note about this in the apartment) and he open the door several times for me and then provided me with the right code.

New arivals should be told a little more carefully about the walk to the super-market and street markets, and that the supermarket has back & front checkouts.... Comments:The couch in the living room is not up to par with the rest of the lovely apartment. The dining room table was lovely (underneath!), but covered with two layers of "protection", which I understand. However, I removed it for photos! And, upon inspection noted that the rubber backing of the protective cover was actually doing more damage than good! I believe I left a message for your wonderful property manager, who was fabulous upon check-in ! She is a true gem ! We got flowers too !Even led us back out to show us where the ATM was, and headed us in the right direction for dinner!! If the couch were replaced with a larger,newer and higher seating sofa, it would be a pleasure to sit on. It just felt worn, and was too low (like the cute "slipper chairs" by the window!)... I took alot of photos of the interior, and loved it and would return in a heartbeat! Hopefully, you'll hear from me again,sooner than later!

Comments:Overall the apartment was well kept, spotlessly clean and very quiet. We loved it and it was perfect for our week stay in Paris. We very much appreciated the wi-fi and used it everyday. The location was absolutely superb and there were plenty of restaurants and cafes within walking distance. All in all, I was very pleased with this rental and we did enjoy our stay there. I would recommend this unit but would HIGHLY recommend it if they made a few small practical adjustments to make the stay truly a luxury. If this apartment is to be considered a luxury property the following upgrades should be considered: 1. The furnishing are very dated and uncomfortable - especially the couches - and need to be replaced. 2. Kitchen dishes and glass ware were minimal and again should be upgraded. 3. The towels very poor quailty, threadbare and in keeping with the quality of the apartment.

Comments:The two little formal chairs seemed odd and would not suit a man. Would be nicer to have more comfy chairs and a coffee table or ottoman. The decor was pleasing and the housekeeping superb. Would be nice to have a few more towels so that one is not continually wasting water washing them. On Sat night the nightclub next door was noisy. The price is a little steep but the location and insuite laundry worth it for a short stay. I have already recommended your agency to others going to Paris. Excellent in every way. Thank you.

Comments:The apartment was very spacious with lovely personal furnishings and all of the amenities that one would need as a guest. The owners were very thoughtful and welcoming in leaving not only the wonderful champagne and fresh flowers, but many books, including a remarkable historical account of the building. There was exceptional security with both an exterior locked entrance and an interior locked gate in a very well maintained courtyard. As the French are protective of their privacy, they also are very respectful of others and the building was extremely quiet and restful. The superb location in the pulsating heart of Paris, St. Germain de Pres, could not have been more convenient or exciting. The area is teeming with great restaurants (L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon; Guy Savoy's, Bouquinistes; Jacques Cagna's La Rotisserie d'en Face; Allard's; Le Procope, are all within minutes, as well as the most famous of all of the Parisian cafes.) The surrounding streets and boulevards with their classy antique and boutique shops are always wonderful to wander through. We could indulge in all of the offerings of the tempting and colorful food markets, patisseries, and boulangeries, knowing we had the well stocked and equipped kitchen and dining area waiting at the end of the day. Staying in this exceptional apartment in such a perfect area totally enhanced the Parisian holiday experience.
