Comments:The main bathroom was EXCELLENT! The secondary bathroom had an approximately 1 inch water collection pan at the floor of the shower. It could only handle a VERY brief shower without causing an overflow. It would have been advisable to warn us of this fact, as it seemed to have leaked into the apartment below. Apparently, it needed "extensive work" by a plumber and was not available the rest of our stay - causing 5 of us to share the one bath/shower. Our apologies for the maintenance needed - we would have been more careful had we known there was an issue. Overall, we LOVED the apartment and would definitely use it again as well as recommend it to others. Very elegant, good location and comfortable for all of our group!

Comments:All in all, a wonderful apartment. Spacious, beautifully and traditionally furnished, with a high-end, very well equipped kitchen (with the exception of ice-cube trays; we augmented the tiny one in the freezer with several new ones we bought at the local Monoprix and left for future renters). Outside noise from the cafe below is very noticeable when the windows are open, but then this is Paris. Windows are amazingly soundproof, so closing them reduces noise considerably. Fortunately for us it was cool at night so we could close the windows. Had it been warm we would have had to suffer the noise to let in fresh air. There was a portable air conditioner, but it seemed not to be working. The few other issues (burned out light bulbs, drain clogged) were taken care of promptly by the manager. The combination washer-dryer washed well, but the dryer function was inoperable. Again, the manager attempted to have this fixed promptly, but it proved to require a specialized repair person who did not arrive while we were there. So we air dried our laundry. One would wish that the housekeepers would report these kinds of problems so they could be fixed before a renter has to report them, but this never seems to happen. The neighborhood is largely excellent, close to a metro stop, cafes, restaurants, and the famous Montorgeuil market street. The only negative is that rue St. Denis is a notorious red light district, with "sex shops" and prostitutes everywhere. But they are easy to ignore once you get used to them. Again, this is Paris. We have always liked dealing with your company and with your managers. It is their responsiveness that will keep us coming back to you for our Paris rentals.

Comments:In general we found the the apartment to be a good choice. Because of the busy street and proximity to cafes, the street noise was a problem with the windows open (World Cup made it exciting but noisy!). One of the table top fans had a vibration and the room with the pullout sofa had no fan so the apartment was too warm for sleeping without opening the windows--otherwise quiet. We did not see pillows for the sofa bed but used ones from another room. The chairs in the living room could stand to be replaced with ones that are more comfortable, though the design is nice. We had trouble figuring out the washer/dryer--English directions would help. Dust in evidence behind/under furniture. We all have dust allergies so are more susceptible to this. Really enjoyed being in a neighborhood and the apartment experience . Excellent communication with VIP. I felt very comfortable with all of the arrangements.

Comments:Because of the location of the apartment, we were somewhat concerned about the noise of the city for sleeping, but I must say that when we closed the windows, that was all blocked out. We would go back to that apt. in a heartbeat, and hope that we will be able to in the near future. It was just a beautiful place, and so Parisian. The neighborhood felt very safe, and was great for walking everywhere. The ONLY negative we had was that the bath and hand towels were hard on the skin, but I imagine that had to do with the washer/dryer. They are very different from ones we are used to in the U.S.

Comments:Except for not being able to use the elevator because of maintenance, everything was a delight. The positive side is that I got my exercise and was able to enjoy the croissants even more. Loved the coffee machine, been looking for one in the states. The washing machines needs to be repaired. The dryer did not work. TV was limited, no sports channels. Use the recommended limo service, the driver was friendly and professional.

Comments:before we arrived I was informed of a water leak in the 2nd/smaller bathroom and given the choice to move elsewhere. I decided to stay as am familiar with the area and property which I like. Anyway, the Manager was on hand and I was offered a financial compensation for the inconvenience. This was the only problem and we had good notice of it. I believe it was put right just before we left. This was my second stay at the property and can only say that I would be happy to go there again. Thank you and to the property manager - she is friendly, attentive and efficient.

Comments:The apartment was lovely and very convenient to the Metro and sites. The kitchen was well equipped. Unfortunately, the singing and yelling at the pub and bistro on the corner all night long made sleeping with the windows open very difficult. I would I think your reservation process is excellent. Your website provides detailed information and the Welcome Packet is informative and very clear. The apartment had lots of guide books and local information, which we used. Thank you for the wine. W

Comments:We loved the location and were within easy walking distance Rue Montorgueil with all of its markets and shops. Apartment is also conveniently located directly across from the Etienne Marcel metro station. Thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary bottle of wine which paired nicely with cheeses from the nearby market. We also very much appreciated the complimentary long distance phone service and wifi which enabled us to check messages and call home without burning up our international plan minutes.

Comments:The place was lovely. However, we prefer the conveniences of a hotel (bookings, etc.) We would reccomend this property to anyone whom wishes to see Paris on their own. Since we were horrible with maps and had two young girls with us, we stayed in a state of confusion. Not the fault of the apartment... The apartment was charming. The washer/dryer was a bit small to keep a much needed supply of towels for five people. We managed by spreading towels ove the bathroom and in open windows. It was a great adventure. Thank You.

Comments:Absolutely perfect apartment although the two single beds in the second bedroom were very small (I'm 6'2) and would have preferred a queen side bed. Other than that, the apartment was perfect and the logistics were handled with extreme professionalism. Great service. Great apartment and based on our experience, we would most certainly use your service and book the apartment again.

Comments:What a wonderful apartment! Very spacious and beautifully furnished in typical Parisian style, with lovely views. The kitchen had everything you would possibly need to prepare a meal. We were met at the local metro station by Martine who gave us a fantast The apartment was the highlight of our 4 week European vacation. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in that beautiful apartment. One day we hope to return.

Comments:We were met by the on-site manager who was the perfect host/assistant/guide. She not only helped us get the luggage up the the apartment but took the time to advise us on the local shopping, sites to see etc etc.
