Comments:We did note that there was a sewage odor that greeted you as you entered the apartment itself (not coming from the toilet), as well as coming from the shower drain. We didn?t contact anyone as we weren?t sure if it was due to work being done outside the building or not. We also noted a couple of cockroaches the night before we were leaving so I did want to mention that in case you might need to spray for them. With old buildings, they are somewhat unavoidable so not a huge issue for us. the mention of the courtyard seemed to be a bit deceptive as there no access or seating available, but we could view it from open windows. The courtyard was one of the reasons that I selected the property as I enjoy being outside, but I just walked up to the park to enjoy my evenings to read. We enjoyed our stay regardless and would recommend the property.

Comments:The bed in the bedroom is of excellent quality and comfort, however, the sofa bed in the living area is not very comfortable. The chair in the bedroom is not comfortable at all or even sturdy. Some of the small towels are dingy. Often there was an unpleasant odor, like sewer water, in the air, especially in the mornings. As a wheelchair user, I loved staying on a ground floor apartment with room in the foyer for my chair, and would definitely stay with VIP in this or a similar property that doesn't require using an elevator or climbing stairs.

Comments:Quirky apt. in some ways (odd layout of rooms), but with an excellent location and facilities: Efficient large-capacity clothes washer/dryer, working dishwasher, large, walk-in shower. Quiet building and street, but close to grocers, bakeries, cafes and restaurants. Ready access to Eiffel Tower and Champ de Mars, but not a touristy neighborhood. I used VacationinParis apts. in a half-dozen arrondisements, but would certainly select this one again. Guest book appeared to contain only information from the owner(s). Always helpful if the book contains observations and recommendations from previous guests. We saw no way to leave comments of our own.

Comments:I cannot say enough about how helpful everyone was at Vacation in Paris. They took lots of photos and measurements to see if the apartment would work for my wheelchair. It did work for me, but if you are looking for an accessible place, I would recommend contacting VIP to see if it would work for your needs. The toilet room is very small, and I couldn't fit into the kitchen. Everything else is great - ground floor, no steps, & wide doorways. The location is great. A few blocks from the Eiffel Tower and several embassies, the neighborhood is very quiet, clean, & safe. There are food shops, including a wonderful bakery, right around the corner, as well as several bus stops. It was helpful to have a kitchen, so we could save money and cook instead of eating out all the time. There were probably enough dishes for a formal dinner party! The rooms were a little smaller than they look in the photos, but still bigger and nicer than a hotel. Thank you so much for everything!

Comments:Really great apartment! We learned to use the buses more as the Ecole Militiare metro was a fair hike for two old over weight ladies LOL. My travel partner thought that instead of double sinks another toilet would have been nice. The washer dryer takes a long time but I am familiar with that in Europe and having the opportunity to launder clothes was a plus. The shower was great! We really never used the kitchen but found it well stocked with every conceivable thing one could need. The guests or residents above us were very noisy and having the trashbin right outside our door was a lot of noise in the AM. We did not drink the wine but it was a nice welcoming gift! It was my friends first trip to Paris and my 14th. Always a magical experience and I hope to come again and stay in an apartment for two to three weeks so you will definitely be hearing from me again! Many thanks for a great experience. Log book needs to state clearer there are 2 waste disposal rooms - took us 3 days to find the other one before concierge told us... One on the left and one on the right (for recyclable). 4. Neighbors friendly and nice. concierge of bldg helpful, she had to help us understand how to work the doors as one of the inner doors was not working. 5. Great location if one wants to be close to the Eiffel. I wouldnt recommend apartment to friends for longer stay but I would, if it is a short stay. Still I am confident in Vacation in Paris as I do receive good and prompt service and for that I will recommend my friends to use your service.

Comments:The apartment is in an amazing location and very nice building. The kitchen has everything you need and the living room area was large and comfortable. The only negative thing about this property was the condition of the bathroom with quite a bit of mildew/mold, mainly an issue with the shower. Even with that in mind it was a great place to stay and I would definitely stay here again or recommend this property to a friend. Comments:The master bed was a little small for our two "american-sized" bodies. We actually found that the pull out sofa offered the most comfortable night sleep for the two adults. Comments:Everything was lovely...the directions for the TV included English language,but there were no corresponding channels on the TV as described in directions. The sink is starting to pull away from the wall in the bathroom. We loved that the apartment was so well lit. The sheers on the curtains are looking a little dingy. The carpet should be cleaned more than onece or twice per year, it is looking shabby. Also, the directions to the garbage location was a little off.

Comments:The TV is tricky since it is linked with the box that services the phone. we had to re boot a few times and figure it out on our own. The oven is tricky. you have to set the timer to get it to start which we figured out since Parisian apts. can be almost great apt....i think if there were 4 people staying in it it would be somewhat tight but that is my opinion only. for 2 it was quite nice. we also always bring our own bath towels since French bath towels are smaller then the ones in the USA>

Comments:This is a very good sized apartment in a lovely area. Morgan, the Paris manager was very helpful. I also appreciated the on-site binder filled with instructions and tips on the use of appliances and amenities. I was very pleased to find that the kitchen had been updated from the on-line description. The bathroom, however, was in need of further attention. The sinks and clothes washer/dryer were quite new, but the bathtub area was in poor condition. The ceramic tiles were cracked and broken, a safety issue. The bed linen was a disappointment. The very comfortable mattress was brand new but was covered with a cheap and uncomfortable rubberized protector. I removed this and doubled-sheeted the bed instead to keep the mattress from being soiled. The two sets of bed linens were tired and mismatched. We enjoyed our stay and would use this apartment again.

Comments:The bathroom where the shower and sinks were was a decent size but the toilet was like a very small closet right outside the kitchen with no sink. You had to wash your hands in the kitchen or go to the bathroom at the other end of the apartment. The apartment was very close to the Eiffel tower and had wonderful neighbourhood stores to buy food or eat out. This was much better than staying at a hotel as we felt like Parisians :-)! It would be nice if there were more clear directions to get to the apartment from the airport - whihc train to take and which station to get off and how to get from the train station to the apartment as it is very hard to find in spite of having our maps and Paris app on our iphones.

Comments:Everything was excellent from getting into the apartment to leaving. The people we met in the building were very gracious and willing to help. The area was quiet and the construction noise almost non existent. The only thing that we wish had been different was the commode 'room' basically a closet but useable none the less. Just that your instructions were very explicit and helpful. We would go to no other agency if we were to go to Paris again and we have already recommended you to a couple of friends who are thinking of going to Paris. Thanks so much for all your help. P.s. if you are able to, could you give us the phone number of the taxi service that was recommended on the notes in the apartment that spoke English. We have some friends leaving for Paris next week and we told them how nice it was to make reservations to go to CDG a day or two before with an English speaking agency. If you can't we understand. Comments:The apartment was really great except for two things. The cover on the living room couch was not clean. The linens and mattress cover did not fit the bed at all, were terribly wrinkled when when we arrived, and because they did not fit were loose and lumpy. This was not comfortable. The bathroom towels were large, but quite worn and had some small holes. We were extremely pleased with the efficiency and professional manner of Vacation in Paris.

Comments:We had a fabulous time during our stay in Paris! We loved every minute and wished we had planned for a few extra days. We loved the apartment, it was everything you said it was. We love historical buldings so staying in this apartment made us feel like we were real Parisiennes! It was fun meandering down the small hallway from the bathroom to the lavatory and peeking out the kitchen window to see what the weather was like! It took us a while to figure out the washer/dryer... we washed the same load of clothes three times! The bed was one of the most comfortable we've ever slept on. The few neighbors that we did run into were very friendly and helpful. We loved the location of the apartment and the people working in the local stores were very accomodating to us. All the people we met on our trip were very nice to us, as well, and we made a few new friends. We were very excited to take this trip and staying in the apartment made it even more fun. We're very easy to please and get along with! We loved, loved, loved our trip to Paris! I could live there. All of the information you sent, all the hints and suggestions were right on. We even hired the car service you suggested to pick us up at the airport and take us back. It was well worth the extra money spent. Thank you!!!! I have several friends who want to go next year, so if we do plan the trip, I'll definitely contact you regarding apartment rentals...we'll need a bigger place for 4-6 of us!

Comments:The apartment was just wonderful. Would have liked a view from inside, but once you step out the complex door, there is the Eiffel Tower. Not bad! You might want to remove the large unused book shelf from the hallway. Gets in the way. Also a couple paintings might be added to liven things up, esp. to the tiny toilet room. Also, the entry carpet was very stained. Other than that a wonderful and comfortable.

Comments:Best aspect was it is a very nice location, convenient to many areas. House itself was a little chopped up, for example the toilet was in a small closet near the front door, in the opposite corner of the apartment from the bathroom. The kitchen was very small. Key delivery with apt. information and access info was excellent. Deposit return was timely. We enjoyed using Vacation in Paris and will try to use again when we can.

Comments:The washer was broken and unusable. There was a large note on it to that effect. I wish I'd known this, as I packed thinking I could toss some items in the washer mid-week. Also, we were left with only one bath towel per person. Since the washer didn't work, an extra towel per person would have been appreciated.There is a quite a bit of conversation noise - in the halls?- from the building residents. This is an overall nice apartment in a good location. The toilet room is very stark - white and sterile. Curtains, beside the shears, in the bedroom would be welcome for light control.

Comments:We like the apartment very much and it was in a great location. I have a few recommendations: 1. The hot water plug in kettle needs to be replaced. It is comming apart inside and is not usable. We heated water for coffee and tea in the microwave. 2. The microwave and stove should be removed from the shelf and the countertop and wall behind should be cleaned. 3. The shower door does not seal well with the bathtub. Water leaks through the seal even with the shower directed away. Seal is moldy. 4. Kitchen need a couple of coffee mugs not the small cups. 5. A DVD player would be nice. We were out most of the time touring but would be nice to have. Again we had a great time we were very glad to stay at the apartment. The above should be acted on to keep the apartment as good as possible.

Comments:Being the 3rd time we have stayed on Avenue Charles Floquet the refurbished was a lovely surprise. The apartment looked lovely. We will book it again soon for next May Wifi was a great bonus in the apartment for my ipad as my twin grand daughters were born 7 weeks premature whilst we were in Paris. All well but tiny. For the first time ever I just wanted to leave Paris and get home to Sydney but we saw them yesterday at 6 days of age. The only other thing that would make the apartment perfect would be a new flat screen TV. The old one is very small and very old - I dont think it would be terribly expensive and would just finish the place off.

Comments:We did find it unusual that the toilet was found between the crockery cupboard and the kitchen.It did not worry us though.The bedroom could probably do with another drape,over the sheers for a bit more privacy at night.Thats all,just perfect!We loved it. The rest of the apartment was great - but I wouldn't rent it again because of the bathroom and the kitchen. The location was great. Comments:Bed linens were wrinkled. Towels were 'in the dryer' (which does not completely dry the contents. So we had damp towels on arrival. The 'quick clean' between rentals is normally good enough but a deep clean is necessary from time to time. This apartment requires a really thorough cleaning. Generally I am happy with the stay but feel that thje above items -which are simple enough- need to be attended to.

Comments:We were very happy to arrive at our apartment around 9:30 am after a taxi ride from the airport. About half an hour after we arrived the cleaners came and asked us to leave until 1 pm (sigh). The room looked smaller than the picture but we quickly made the space our own. The number of beds was perfect for our family of five. One bed felt very comfy and the other less so. The washing machine/dryer combo came in handy. It was a treat to be able to pick up lunch or dinner from nearby bakery, patisserie, and/or supermarket so our kids could have food to eat when they awoke from a nap. We were looking for a safe, quiet neighborhood not too far from the subway and we were satisfied.

Comments:Room configuration is a bit strange - toilet access from bathroom is down a longish hall, then across entrance foyer to location near kitchen. But we finally recognized that most direct access from bedroom was simply through the salon to foyer, etc. Otherwise, apartment is beautiful, decorated in excellent taste, and in a superlative location, only a little more than 1/2 block from Champs de Mars; near excellent bakery, a more than adequate 'mini- super- market" just across street, and circa 2 & 1/2 block pleasant stroll from convergence/ access to 4 major bus lines, obviating boring & longer trek to Ecole Militaire metro stop or to unbelievably bad Motte Piquet metro stop - which is almost as bad - in its seemingly interminable up/down, up/down 'correspondences' - as Chatelet. No, except that we might wish some day to return to 42 Charles Floquet.

Comments:I would recommend but with reservation. We had a very inadequate washing machine and that's the reason you use an apartment. Linen was sparse 1 towel each for an eight night stay. Quality of towels, highly inferior. We also had the water cut of for the day. I have been impressed with the service follow up after the stay, it has been excellent. Our concerns over the water issue was dealt with very promptly even though after the event.

Comments:We loved this apartment: it is spacious (for Paris!) and well laid out. All of the rooms close off, which provides privacy. It's a great space for a family. We especially loved the neighborhood: it is quiet, beautiful, and much less touristy than places in the middle of the city. It was nice to come "home" after a day of sightseeing and take a picnic out to the Champs de Mars. It was also fun to see the Eiffel Tower when we walked outside of the building each morning. Tell everyone about the market on Bvd de Grenelle on Sunday mornings: a true slice of Paris life, crowded, colorful, and really really fun. The only problem was that the washing machine was broken when we arrived. We called the handyman, he fixed it the next day, no problem. Also, tell people that if they close the door to the closet with the dishes in it it locks - and no key! (We called on that one too, no problem, they unlocked it the next day.) We would be happy to answer any questions from potential renters of this apartment. Your company was very easy to work with and we would recommend you to anyone.

Comments:We really enjoyed this apartment as we felt like we were "Parisians" for the 3 days we were there. The location was fantastic and not too far of a walk to the metro. Great restaurants around the area as well as places for groceries and pastries. The only thing I would suggest to the owner of the apartment is that the carpet is getting pretty well worn and aged, but we thought everything else was adequate for our stay.

Comments:The apartment location was excellent, just one block to the Champs de Mar; two blocks to the Eiffel Tower. However, the apartment size was smaller than expected, and the water closet was too small. Expected a clothes dryer, so washing clothes was very difficult. The walls were thin, could hear the infant in the upstairs apartment quite easily. Bank and cafes were within one block. Decent accomodations for our first trip to Paris. Would like more room for the next visit.

Comments:This is the second time we have stayed here and feel like its our little home in Paris. We are going to book it again for next May. Just a few little points 1. They need and updated phone book, the one from 2008 is too out of date 2. There was no glass plate in the microwave so made it hard to use 3. There were no teatowels so we had to use a hand towel from the bathroom. We solved that problem by buying a new one and donating it to the kitchen. 4. The tenants directly above were very noisy from 6.00am till midnight, sounded like a herd of elephants running around, loud voices and running downstairs. They certainly didnt respect the French quiet time that is required by all tenants. We didnt experience this last time so hopefully it wont happen next year. 5. The double bed is rather small for two adults so perhaps the owners would consider buying a queen size when they need to replace the bed, it would still fit perfectly into the same position in the bedroom. Any chance of a bottle of white wine next time as we dont drink red? We left the red wine for the next tenant. Thank you for your usual swift and efficient service. We put very positive comments in the guest book for others to read. We will contact you later in the year to rebook for last week in May 2011. I have posted the keys back to you today

Comments:Master bedroom mattress is uncomfortable. This apartment is in a fantastic, safe location. Streets were clean, not much road noise and just a block away from the Champ de Mars. However, we spent five nights and the master bed got to be pretty uncomfortable after that many nights. Needs a new mattress.

Comments:While I would be prepared to rent the apartment again and recommend it to a friend, I would prefer an apartment that had more daylight. Because of its location on the ground floor and the fact that it faced the courtyard, it was somewhat dark. As regards the kitchen, a dishwasher would have been welcome.
