Comments:They could fix the floor. It has been in need of repair for over 2 years. This is a very minor thing. Not happy with the pickup service at CDG. Will comment on that in a separate email. I would not recommend this serviced!

Comments:What makes this property unique is its location. It is just the best!! walking distance from the beginning of the Latin Quarters at the Luxembourg Gardens, the property is also on an extremely convenient Censier - Daubenton Metro taking you directly to the Louvre Museum or La Samaritaine for best all around shoping, AND if you like food, you are blessed, blessed to be ONE block away from rue Mouftard with extraordinary Fromageries (yes more than one) and Patisserie where croissants and other incredible pastries are made for you just there. The apartment is modern and can sleep 5 and fairly quiet even though it is facing the road because this is a quiet neighborhood. Of course, I agree with the other comments that this apartment gets hot in summer and so for that reason, I would personally exclude its usage during July and august, but should be great any other time of the year. The main issue is the lack of cross ventilation.

Comments:The apartment was spacious and comfortable. We had a couple of issues which were addressed quickly by both the owner and VIP. My husband called an old maintenance contact # as there were several information sheets in apartment. One suggestion is to update all documentation in apartment and remove any outdated materials. The apartment had sustained some water damage to the flooring which left the apartment a bit musty smelling but not untolerable. VIP had notified us of this problem prior to arrival. Hopefully this will be repaired for future guests. The location is convenient to Rue Mouffetard and the metro. If a client is wanting to walk to major sites then this location is not ideal, but for those wanting to get out of the tourist areas it is a great local neighborhood. Our biggest issue with the apartment as noted by other clients is that the indoor temperature was uncomfortable due to very warm weather. The ground floor location and small bedroom windows do not allow you to get any cross ventilation. Coming from Texas we are not strangers to warm weather. It was unpleasant for sleeping but fans were provided. Property was cleaned and available for us when we arrived around 10:30 a.m. which was a nice surprise after traveling from U.S overnight where we had a screaming baby onboard. We were thankful to grab some rest before exploring Paris.

Comments:There was a incident that almost ruined our vacation, at least for 40 minutes. We cannot find the key to open the apartment when we arrived initially. Fortunately, we called the property manager and thanks good that he responded quickly to my call.

Comments:Being familure with Paris I found the apartment excellent. For an apartment in Paris it was larger than most, quieter than most, extremely comfortable and in an excellent location. You can really get the feel of living in Paris staying there with the m Yes, the descreiption for unlocking the door is not correct. To unlock the door one must turn the key fully counter clockwise and then push on the door. This unlocks both the dead bolt and the door latch. To remove the kkey turn it one-quarter turn

Comments:It would be very difficult to be there when it was hot as the windows in the bedrooms are small and must be covered at night as they are right on the street. Heaven only knows what was with the dryer. I have used appliances all over Europe including France The location was MARVELOUS!

Comments:Please refer to my email addressing maintenance in this apartment. If the matters I mentioned are dealt with this would be an excellent apartment. I don't drink red wine. White, I do! I suggest guests nominate red or white before their arrival. The administrative staff relates to guests with patience and courtesy at all times. The test of excellence comes when things have not gone so well. I regretted having to complain about aspects of this property, however VIP staff members remained efficient and interested in what I had to say. The apt was not good value for money because the maintenance issues were annoying, and I felt they should have been fixed before my tenancy began. For a fuller review see my earlier email.

Comments:We loved the location...it was perfect. We stayed for 8 nights in April 2014..the weather cooperated for the most part and we were able to walk everywhere. There were 4 of us (my husband, myself and 2 daughters aged 24 and 14); we were pleasantly surprised at the size of the place, the set up was perfect for us. The kitchen had everything we needed, our only problem was we couldn't figure out how to work (turn on) the oven! We felt like we were very much part of a neighborhood staying here, which is exactly what we wanted. We miss Paris very much and can't wait to go back someday! There was water damage in the unit prior to us arriving which caused part of the floor to be uneven. We knew about it prior to arriving, as the agency contacted us, so not a big deal. The owner said she is planning on fixing it, but you might want to ask about it if you're considering renting this unit.

Comments:Excellent location. Very clean; appliances very easy to use. Overall an excellent value for the money. Clean apartment, quiet street but in an excellent location - extremely close to Rue Moufettard and to the Metro. Apartment well equipped and appliances easy to use. Very nice to have washer and dryer. The only negative (other than the key issue) was that I think it would be very hot in the apartment in the summer. There are not a lot of windows. It was fine for us however, in March (with warmer than usual temperatures for Paris). Would stay there again, although probably not in the summer.

Comments:as the apartment is situated on the outside wall of the building, there was street noise; also not comfortable to open up the windows due to proximity to street. EXCELLENT location close to Rue Mouffetard and Metro but far enough away from tourist crowds; being unfamiliar with Paris, we really lucked out on this choice of location! Vacation in Paris was a pleasure to work with in booking accommodation for our group of 10+ people. Staff were so helpful in providing needed details about our proposed plans and patiently answered our inquiries. It was so much more reassuring to work with VIP as they are professionals specifically working with Paris accommodations rather than with the many "amateur landlords" advertised in other Internet sites who often demand full payment without live voice contact! I would highly recommend Vacation in Paris and I am so glad that I came upon it as a recommendation from other Internet sites as an alternative to Air B&B and VRBO. The Paris apartments were perfect for our large size group and ideally situated near to the Metro and Rue Muffetard, as well as the bus. Spacious enough for all of us and well-equipped. Although there were a few maintenance issues in the beginning, they were capably dealt with by the manager on call who was friendly and courteous. Thank you Christiana (even though we never met you) and VIP (great staff) for making our dream Paris vacation come true for all of us! We all highly recommend both VIP and Apartments #142 and 124 for visitors to Paris! Merci beaucoup!!

Comments:There was not too much noise outside the building, but there was an early morning trash pick-up right outside the bedroom windows that was pretty loud...it seems like it was every morning. A small price to pay for the location!

Comments:This apartment was in an excellent location, and I would highly recommend staying there except for one warning: I would never stay there again during the peak heat of the summer. Although there are 3 fans, the apartment is what we would call a 'garden level' apartment in the U.S. It has a large window in each of the 2 bedrooms facing the street, but only the tiny transom window at the top opens, and then, it only opens half way. The windows in the back of the apartment have some sort of solid security cover on the outside of them that does not let any light or air through, so there is no air flow or breeze whatsoever and the fans only blow hot air around the rooms. Making matters worse, I tried to wash some of our clothes one day. The washer is so tiny it really does not hold much more than 2 shirts and 2 shorts. The cycles for both the washer and dryer each take an hour or more, and the dryer does not really dry the clothes but did a highly effective job of filling the bathroom with hot air, since it didn't appear to be vented outside. We ultimately gave up and used the laundromat a few blocks away, but be prepared for Euro pricing...~$16 to wash/dry one load! Given what I know now, I would absolutely stay in that apartment again any other time of year than July (and maybe August). The location is outstanding, in a great neighborhood and close to a Metro stop and an RER stop. It has 2 twin beds in one bedroom, which was perfect for my teenagers. The bathroom is split up so that there is a sink and shower/tub in one room and a toilet and sink in another, giving 2 people access at a time. The kitchen is very well stocked, but there are so many well-priced restaurants with really delicious food all around that we never even cooked a meal once, even though that was our initial intention. And don't miss the creperie one street over on Rue Mouffetard--a daily stop for our clan!

Comments:Overall condition; vacuuming, dusting, etc; furnishings; kitchen; and info/interaction w VIP: If I could rate these excellent ++, I would. (Cleanliness needs it's own superlative ca) I was especially pleased with the cleanliness. Other than the air freshener overkill (minor and easily remedied), the only other drawback to the apartment is also one of its benefits: the ground floor location. It's nice to come home after a long day of sightseeing and shopping and not have to climb stairs.

Comments:This apartment is in an excellent location, close to the market and train station. The best part, however, is that it is away from the heavy tourist area so you feel like a real Parisian! Even though it is not touristy, you are still an easy walk from most things. It took us a few minutes to realize there was a key fob that needs to be waived in front of a sensor by the mail boxes to get the interior door open. Might be good to mention that, but otherwise everything was great!

Comments:No bottle of wine in apartment. Contact person asked and had maid deliver. It was warm in the apartment and 1 of the fans in the apartment didn't work, 1st delivered fan didn't work, 2nd delivered fan worked. Great location for quiet comfortable stay. Mouffetard Street was fabulous. Just a short walk to the underground. This apartment made our stay in Paris fabulous.12

Comments:Main problem was the check-in. Our key was for a post box inside the building, but we could not get inside the building until another tenant let us in. Lucky it was only a 20 minute wait. There is probably a code available for the keypad outside the main door, but it was not provided to us.

Comments:The aprtment was fine. It didn't suit our family because it was on the ground floor and it was sealed up much of the time. We would prefer an apartment with windows which could be easily opened and closed. There is a school located very nearby. There were young children shouting in the morning one day. It didn't bother us as we were already awake and up (it was late morning- maybe 10:00 am). However, if people like to sleep in, they may find it bothersome.

Comments:Very easy to book this apartment. EXCELLENT location, close to the market and Metro. Would definitely recommend this apartment! It was so convenient to have a washer/dryer and well-equipped kitchen. It really made a difference to be able to "live like a native". Every morning we made it a point of going to the nearby market to buy fresh baguettes, croissants and cheese for the day!
