Comments:This is a wonderful property that we had used before and plan to use again. The location is fantastic, and the layout of the apartment is excellent. We appreciated the storage space for our suitcases--and there were more than enough shelves and drawers for clothing--lots of hangars, too. We love the exposed stone and the beams--it's a pretty little apartment and was very comfortable for two. The heated towel rack is a nice feature, as well. The kitchen makes good use of a small but workable space. It's obvious that the owners care about making this feel like a home. I highly recommend VIP to people I know and my husband and I will certainly be clients again--overall, you do a wonderful job, so thanks again!!

Comments:I saw that there were complaints about not enough towels but that was resolved. I had plenty for my time frame. I would just suggest that in winter that an extra blanket or comforter of some sort be left on a shelf with the extra pillows that I appreciate were there. It was cold when I arrived and an extra blanket would have been a help. It would be a practical thing in the winter.
It was a very wonderful stay. I really felt at home in this property and can't wait to stay there again.

Comments:This is our second stay in this cute apartment. We enjoyed our stay once again with a few minor observations of which future tenants should be aware. There is a new sofa which pulls out into a queen/double bed. It is unfortunately quite uncomfortable to sleep on. The apartment is well located and nicely decorated. The uncomfortable sleeping is worth the location. There are many restaurants, pattissieries, etc. just steps away. The apt. is up two flights of stairs which may be difficult to manage for some. The outside of the building and the entry way is a bit off putting as it is in need of updating. We encountered several of the other tenants and all were friendly. Since it was stuffy inside the apartment we chose to keep the windows open at night to sleep. Surprisingly this seemingly quiet street has alot of traffic and noise well into the wee hours of the night. There always seemed to be someone beeping their horn, or revving their engines at 2am. There is also alot of people noise. With the windows closed you can hear very little street noise. All said, I would stay here again just based on location. and cleanliness of the apartment. The shower does not stay hot long enough for two people to use it back to back. All very minor complaints. Overall, a happy place to stay for two or three people, a bit tight I think for four people.
We found the apartment to be spotless once again. They also provided extra towels which was nice as we stayed for ten night. One of the things that could be improved and is an easy fix would be to get new dishes. Many of the dishes in the apartment had chips and cracks. They should be replaced.

Comments:The space is in mild need of a fix it man. Base boards are not properly attached in the kitchen and some fixtures are loose in the bathroom. Most importantly, the bed is pretty uncomfortable due to the frame and mattress used. That should be addressed immediately. Overall the space is very attractive and great location.

Comments:Rather than use the same property, I think I would like to try another area of the city. This isn't an indication of any dissatisfaction with the condo rather it is an interest in exploring another part of the city. The mattress on the bed wasn't as comfortable as I would have liked - it sagged in the middle, but since I was the only one using it, it sufficed. My sister used the pullout couch, which she said was comfortable, but she would have preferred to have had a flat sheet to use as the duvet was too warm for the weather we were enjoying (there was only a fitted sheet provided). It would have been nice to have had a face cloth along with the hand and bath towels. I guess we could have called the owner to get both the flat sheet and face towels. I do understand previous visitors' comments about the lighting. I think the bathroom, especially, could use better lighting - and perhaps a lower mirror! I am relatively short and it was difficult to use the mirror!!
We enjoyed the bottle of wine. The area the condo is in is most convenient with grocery stores, boulangeries, cafes, pattiseries right outside the door...and it was wonderful to walk out onto the street and see the Eiffel Tower!! All in all, we had a wonderful stay in Paris and the condo was well situated to the locations we wanted to walk to and see.

Comments:The bed needs to be replaced. It is quite hard, lumpy and more worn out on one side. However, it didn't cause us to lose any sleep. In the kitchen, we found we had to hand wash the dishes before we used them. They seemed clean, but had a film on them which could have come from the dishwasher.
The location is perfect for Paris. We could walk to almost any site we wanted to see, and with being just a few blocks from the Eiffel Tower, we could walk there every evening to watch the lights. It's also close to lots of shopping, and some great bakeries. Overall, the apartment was great!

Comments:We could not have asked for a better location. Near several bakeries for our morning croissant, great restaurants within easy walking distance, near a busy market street (Rue Cler). A great view of the Eiffel Tower at the front door. Kitchen appeared equipped for those who might want to do some cooking--but we don't so I can't be too precise about that. We would definitely stay in the same apartment next time we go to Paris. We also liked the fact that the key was sent to us in advance, so we weren't under time constraints to get in by a certain time, or set up a meeting place to retrieve the key. The key deposit was credited very promptly after return.

Comments:Excellent location on bus route with a great patisserie across the street and a grocery store on the next block. There wasn't too much noise outside, however the exhaust from vehicles and cigarette smoke from pedestrians would enter the apartment. The heated towel rack was great. We had only one towel per person for 7 days, which I felt was not acceptable. At minimum a fresh towel ought to be provided every 3 days. If the apartment can be rented to four people--why not leave four towels? The owner said there were extras under the bed in a container. We found the towels, but they looked as if they were for cleaning and not bathing. The owner ought to consider getting screens on the windows to prevent bugs from entering. The windows and shades were a bit tricky. Since the windows open into the apartment, like french doors, the shades have to be all the way up when the windows are opened--limiting your privacy. If the shades were down, opening the window could damage the shade. Perhaps the owner can figure out a better arrangement.
Overall, we enjoyed staying in apartment as opposed to a hotel room and will consider VIP for our next Paris visit.

Comments:Overall the apartment was very nice. Location was great. Perfect for two people. We ate in several nights which was nice.
The weather was quite hot, so the fans were used constantly. Air conditioning would have been a plus.
I think also that more than one towel per person when you are staying longer that three days would be nice.
Also a towel for the bathroom floor would be nice as you get out of the shower and water is everywhere.
Thank you

After our rough start (my flight delayed and friend unable to get into apartment when she got there) we were looking forward to the promised bottle of wine when we finally both did arrive. none to be found....Not a big deal but did note it. Comments:The overall condition of the outside and entrance to the apartment was very poor and of a low standard. The inside of the apartment , though small was well appointed and spotless. The owners had tried to think of any needs that would contribute to a successful stay. we would suggest the blackout blinds need replacing.
The apartment was very well located around the corner from a great food market and popular restaurants. The location was excellent. However, the street entrance is really very poor and because of this I would be reluctant to recommend this apartment to my friends.

Comments:We were pleasantly surprised by the apartment. It was larger than it appeared in the photos, which is unusual. We found everything that we would need for our short stay. The neighborhood was great, very convenient, lots to do nearby, and easy access by bus and Metro to other parts of the city. We would definitely recommend it to others. The only negative was that we found the bed in the bedroom to be terribly uncomfortable. After the first night we figured out how to make the couch in the living room into a bed and slept there. That was much better. It was cool while we were there so we were able to keep the windows closed which completely blocked out the street noise. I don't think the apartment was air conditioned, and I would have found it hard to sleep with the windows open, due to noise from the street. As I said, that wasn't an issue for us. The bathroom was great, with the exception that the shower drained very slowly. The first time I used it I was afraid it would spill over onto the floor. After that we learned to use low water pressure and turn off the water while soaping up. If the drain could be cleared that would be better. We used the towel drier, so were able to have dry towels each morning. A second set of towels would have been nice, though. We stayed 2 weeks in Paris, the first week in a hotel and the second in this apartment. Both had their pros and cons, but all things considered I think that if we went again we would choose an apartment for the entire time. We would certainly stay in this apartment again.

Comments:Overall I enjoyed renting this flat, but I do have a few comments. There were not enough towels- 2 bath towels and 2 hand towels for 2 adults is ridiculous and would have been unacceptable if the 4 adults you advertise could share the place had actually shown up! I also found it odd that there was no hand or dish soap and only one kitchen towel- you should tell guests that they should be prepared to have to shop immediately for such bare necessities. It's not like this is a Jersey shore rental where we would expect to need to bring towels and kitchen items like soap and paper towels, not when one arrives from abroad. Finally, after so many admonishments not to make any noise and to respect our neighbors, I found the level of hallway noise to be extreme. would be hard to keep a renters deposit for noise infractions if these were the neighbors who complained. Location was great however and the bed was very comfortable. your cleaning lady was lovely, did a great job. I was shocked however on my arrival that the previous tenants things were still in the flat- your initial instructions said that was not allowed if a new tenant was arriving same day as departure. The bags were gone by the time the cleaning staff left but I was still quite surprised. Consistent instructions would be helpful.

Comments:The overall condition of the apartment was great. We had to have something on our feet at all times because the floors were dusty and a little dirty. There was only a hand broom which we tried to use to get some of the dust off the floor. The only other comment I would make is make note of the book of instructions left in the apartment as we called the property manager with questions. He directed us to the book. All in all there are really no complaints. Loved the location; loved the vacation. If I happen to go to Paris again, I would recommend VIP to them as well as this property. Comments:The apartment is in a great location. Some minor concerns include the following. The hallway leading from the outside door to the steps is not very appealing and might bother someone expecting more of an entryway. The steps leading up to the apartment are quite old and may be too steep for an older person or someone with limited physical strength. The watercloset located at the top of the steps next to the door to the apartment was quite disturbing. We often found that the door was left open which was not very nice. Once inside the apartment we were very happy with all we found. The apartment was spotless. One note would be that all food and condiments should be removed after each renter. I had no interest in using anything left there as I was not sure when it was from or who had used it. It would have been better to have empty cupboards. Once we settled in and got over the scary entry way to the building, we were very comfortable in the apartment and we loved the location. While it was very noisy when the windows were open, with the windows closed you could barely hear outside noise. We never heard any noise from the neighboring apartments, and we did run into several people in the common areas and they were very friendly. The bed and pullout couch were both comfortable, but I think the pullout would not be comfortable for more than one person. I would definitely stay there again. We were very happy with the communication of your office and the efficiency with which all was handled. I have recommended your company to several people and would not hesitate to use your company again for future rentals. Overall I was very pleased. This is the third time I have rented an apartment in Paris, but the first time using your company. This was by far the easiest transaction I have had yet. Thank you

Comments:Everything was wonderful and exceeded our expectations. Having been to Paris almost every year for 38 years as a tourist, I can say that the apartment and location absolutely made me feel like a local. We had stayed with VIP six years ago in an apt. on rue des Grands Augustins which we LOVED, but now I think I've fallen in love again with this place. We are considering renting it again later this year when we return to Paris...
My only comment for improvement would be to ask the cleaning people to check on all the lights--we had two lights that were out when we arrived (one in the bedside lamp and one of the living room overhead lights). It wasn't a big deal so we didn't contact the manager, but I thought that would be an easy thing for the cleaners to put on their checklist. Also, we weren't really sure that our towel rack heater was working--again, we didn't call about it because we were extremely happy with the overall condition of the place. My last comment--take a photo of the bedroom from the living room that shows more than just the bed. The bedroom was a VERY nice surpirse, since it looked like it took up the whole room in the photo. I was delighted with the closet, chair, and small stand--and the black-out shded window was great, too! Having now rented two apartments from you, I am convinced that you are extremely professional and have some great properties. I have recommended you in the past and will continue to do so to anyone who wants this wonderful opportunity to visit Paris as a "local." Merci beaucoup!

Comments:Bed lost points on being a bit too hard. Bathroom lost points for nowhere to lay out toiletries easily.
Inside complex someone one hammer drilling - it was very stressful. We have 2 main, easy points for improvement: 1) We REALLY need to start seeing simple folding drying racks (eg cheap from IKEA) in VIP apartments to hang t-shirts and delicates to dry. There was nowhere to do this and it can be frustrating 2) We couldn't use the laptop and iPad at once on internet. In this day of multiple electronics it would be good to see this improved (the comments book in apartment mentioned it a few times too) We wasted a lot of time on it.

Comments:The apartment itself was lovely. It was very clean and exactly as pictured on the website, even though we surprised the owner. He was leaving the building when we arrived, and he wasn't expecting us until the next day. The bathroom setup was a little strange in that there was no shower curtain or door, so we tried to be very careful not to let the spray from the shower hit the wood floor - just a little awkward.
Our complaint about the apartment is more about the building. When we arrived to check in, we had to navigate a narrow staircase - and around a ladder - to get up the stairs. There were men repairing drywall in the building hallway on scaffolding during the entire visit. Since there were no window coverings over the high windows (normally, no one could see in at that height, but the men on scaffolding were at eye level), they were looking directly into the kitchen/living area AND into the bathroom. My husband finally made a makeshift curtain with a shirt to give us some privacy. Every morning at 8 or 8:30 a.m., men started working in the hall, banging around and mixing drywall compound. This was less than restful. Also, with a bar right beneath us, we heard a lot of noise in the middle of the night as he closed up. Not the most peaceful place, but still a nice experience.

Comments:The apartment needs better window coverings. There was a bright light that shone directly into the window through all hours of the night. The drapes are sheer, so they did absolutely nothing to block the obnoxious light. Also - there was construction in the building and the workers could see directly into the bathroom. That was terrible! We had to time our showers to avoid workers. (As a result of the construction, everything was dusty, the stairwell was blocked by ladders and equipment, and the hall lights rarely worked.)

Comments:The only thing that there was issue with was no warning of building construction happening outside the front door and bathroom window. Over all what a fantastic apartment with an unbelievable location. This will be my go to place in Paris every time. Please thank the owner for providing a great apartment and experience. This apartment is perfectly located on a vibrant street with many services, conveniences and beautifully decorated with lights during the holiday season. You can walk near or far and never be at a loss for anything to see or do. It was so easy to find your way back to it from anywhere in Paris where you could see the Eiffel Tower, you just had to aim for it, it was that close. The interior is comfortable, pleasing with a great mix of modern design in an old world shell and actually bigger than I thought it would be. If I were to ever own an apartment in Paris it would be this one. I will just consider myself lucky that I get to vacation here.

Comments:Generally, the apartment was terrific! There are a few small changes/additions that would help. Knowing the apartment accommodates up to 4 people, a few more towels would have been great. In addition, several extra rolls of toilet tissue would have been welcome. I bought some but by mistake bought paper towels! Further, supplying soap in the bathroom (in addition to the almost used) liquid soap would be wonderful. I can understand not supplying other items but I think soap should be included. It was also not clear how the bed worked in the living room. The WiFi worked flawlessly and was greatly appreciated. The comments above are minor and we would absolutely use your company again and recommend you highly.

Comments:Was there too much noise from INSIDE the building?
Only answered 'yes' to this because of the upstairs neighbour coming in late (2-3am) and walking around in high heels on a couple of the nights. Apart from that their was no noise from the neighbours and the noise from inside the building was minimal so a minor issue.
Also it would be useful to get a black-out curtain in the bedroom as the street light opposite is very bright.
Apart from these minor problems the stay was very enjoyable indeed, we loved the apartment, it was very homely and the location was fantastic. Rue Cler was one of the highlights of our stay, quintessentially Parisian.
Also thanks again for the bottle of champagne, very much appreciated.
Thanks,
Rich and Aimee Good quality service, prompt responses. I was concerned that using a service based in the US from the UK would be troublesome but this was not the case.

Comments:Wonderful location and very clean apartment. Wonderful value for the money. My only suggestions are to supply more towels and provide more counter space in the bathroom.

Comments:We felt extra lighting in the wardrobe area would be helpful.
A washer/dryer would be much appreciated. It will be hard to choose between this apartment and our old favourite, The Garden Studio for our next visit to Paris.

Comments:The apartment is very well insulated from noise outside with the windows closed. Unfortunately this means that there is no fresh air and the apartment is very warm and stuffy so the fan was needed all night to circulate the air as it would be far too noisy to sleep with the windows open. A great location and street with excellent service from Vacation in Paris - thank you.

Comments:The apartment was clean and very nice! Very easy to find and location was ideal. 15 minute walk to Eiffel Tower. The only complaint was at night there is street lamp that shines into the bedroom. If the owners had a darkening shade it would help block the light.

Comments:There was some noise from the pizza shop on the ground floor but it did not go late into the night. They kept their inside door into the passage way open and that's when we could hear them. It wasn't really a problem though hence my answer in the questionaire.. We had a great time at the apartment. The bed was very comfortable, hot showers, handy kitchen. Excellent TV (No we didn't watch the TV that much but it was nice at the end of a long day touring).
120 is in a wonderful location. Close to many famous attractions and for the ones that wern't so close a wonderful underground railway system could whisk you anywhere in a very short time.
Would we stay there again YES YES YES.

Comments:This was a great apartment for our visit to Paris! The location was super for the three of us. The area was very quiet, but yet had great restaurants and pastry shops all around! I would definitely like to go back again and would highly recommend this apartment to anyone going to Paris. Also, the directions given to find the apartment from the airport were excellent - we had no troubles at all. Thank you so much! Your service was excellent. Thanks again!

Comments:The overall condition of the apartment was very good. The following are issues that can be easily fixed and will only make the apartment even better:
The light fixtures by the kitchen counter were quite dusty.
The freezer needed defrosting. We bought some ice cream and were unable to keep it in the freezer because of the large amount of ice.
Even though we were 4 people, there were only two big bath towels. Additional towels (at least one per person) would have been nice.
Additional linens for the sofa bed would have been nice too. We only found a cover (that may not be washed between visits) and one sheet.
We had to buy some of the insect repellent that plugs on the outlet wall to keep the mosquitoes away (after we got numerous bites the first night we stayed at the apartment). The system worked and we very much enjoyed the rest of the nights.

Comments:Then entrance to the apartment is less than acceptable. The "courtyard" is a hallway that is in need of a lot of work. The stairwell is not attractive at all. I would suggest a number or letter on the door of the apartment.

Comments:Only one small problem. There was a 'spotlight' from the street that shone in directly in my face. The curtains are very sheer, and there were no blinds to block the light. But that was minor in comparison with all the positives aspects. It was a pleasure working with your organization!! Thank you

Comments:Furnishings were a bit "flimsy" (headboard, closet, etc), but fairly new and clean. tell renters that there is a hidden light switch for the very dark hall and stairs to the right (around the corner of the wall) as you exit the apt, otherwise you "feel" your way down to the first landing where a more obvious switch is located.
Perfect location! Use the #69 bus that stops just across the street and takes you MANY places that you want to go, with a wonderful view!!
