Welcome to your home away from home while in Paris…as you enter, you’ll be greeted by an unusual feature….an elegant and curvy hallway. Directly to your left, you’ll find a separate WC with a vanity sink and toilet for easy access by all. As you continue, there are two large windows overlooking a quiet courtyard…keep rounding the curve and you’ll find the smaller of two bedrooms. Keep walking straight and you’ll find the kitchen directly to your left and dining/living area straight ahead, with the full bathroom and master bedroom on the opposite side.
This home is warm and welcoming with crisp, bright, white walls, crown molding on the ceiling, decorative wall moldings and wood floors - traditional architecture with a hint of modern features. Tall windows allow for plenty of light to enter this apartment, plus you’ll find recessed lighting and an elegant ceiling light fixture in the living area. Blue accents contrast against the white walls - the colors and décor flow seamlessly throughout.
The kitchen is located just off the curvy hallway...it’s modern, sleek and has everything you need to make a great meal from rue Cler. You’ll find an entire wall of cabinetry, oven, stovetop, dishwasher and a full-size refrigerator and freezer – something you don’t see often in Paris. The floor has large, charcoal-colored tiles offering a separation to the living area, bright white walls and a modern black backsplash. Despite the kitchen's modern touches, it fits this home's personality.
Straight from the kitchen is the dining and living area, offering an open floor plan with plenty of seating and space. A large dining table can seat up to six people should you decide to have some friends over for dinner, or just to figure out your plans are for the next day. A large rug in the living area adds warmth and highlights a curvy blue couch, with a decorative fireplace and large mirror above. Large floor to ceiling windows overlook a courtyard below and offer even more light. The owner uses mirrors throughout this home to make it feel even brighter and more spacious, tying everything together perfectly.
The master bedroom is located behind the living room and has a queen size bed to ensure a great night's rest after a long day. The wood floors, white walls and hints of blue décor are carried through this room as well. Another decorative fireplace brings charm to the room, and more tall windows that overlook the quiet courtyard below. A large, mirrored armoire has plenty of space to accommodate all your personal belongings, and there's a small desk if you need to catch up with emails or write out some postcards. Here is where you'll find a large TV with some English channels if you want to catch up on the news.
The second bedroom with a double bed is found before you reach the kitchen, offering a good separation of bedrooms if you have young children. Here you'll find another decorative fireplace, that makes three, wood floors, another large-mirrored armoire for your belongings and a small desk. A large window overlooking the courtyard allows peace and quiet in the evening...what more could you ask for?
Finally, the bathroom is located behind the dining area. Here you'll find crisp and white tiled walls and the same flooring as the kitchen. A deep and slightly rounded bathtub with a rain shower is offers a perfect way to wake up in the morning or have a good soak after a long day. There's a large vanity and mirror to get yourself ready to go out and plenty of storage for your personal toiletries, as well as the second toilet. Traveling before you arrived and have some laundry to do? You can play catch-up with the large, separate washer and dryer by Bosch- something not found in most Parisian apartments.
This home is tucked away on a quiet courtyard, but just outside your door you'll find the lively rue Cler market street. It has a village-like atmosphere where you can find locals doing their daily shopping, catching up with friends at one of the many cafés, and tourists strolling along the cobblestone street. Colorful fruits and veggies, cheese, wine, chocolate, baguettes, croissants and pastries...where to even begin? Meat, fish, charcuterie and so much more await you. If you can manage to leave the street, you have two Métro stops to choose from, La Tour Maubourg and École Militaire on Line 8, to whisk you anywhere in the city. Walk off your dinner and head to the Eiffel Tower in about 10 minutes. This apartment is Paris at your feet, but nestled away in a quiet location...
