Rue de Buci is a lively pedestrian street with lots of cafés, shops and musicians performing in the summertime. It’s a block away from Boulevard Saint Germain and the Seine, and a short stroll to Notre Dame and Saint Michel. The neighborhood is also filled with galleries, with openings free to the public. The atmosphere is festive, cultural, and sophisticated, perfect for the hard core Francophile. If you want to be in a gorgeous apartment with the best of Paris at your doorstep, this is the place to be. With three rooms separated by doors, there is enough privacy for everyone. You can choose to stay in the peaceful atmosphere of the apartment or head out into the lively streets below.
The apartment is on the 4th European floor of a typical Parisian building with rooftop views. Beautiful and tastefully designed, this apartment is both visually appealing and the kind of place where you can sit back and relax. Earth colors are predominant, with wood floors throughout, large abstract paintings on the walls, French windows, comfortable furniture and all the necessities to make your stay the best possible. With cafés, restaurants and shops at your doorstep, this is the ideal Parisian experience.
Walk into a small entry hall. To your left is a spacious bedroom overlooking the courtyard. The bedroom walls are painted in iridescent silver and bronze which goes perfectly with the warm earth colors in the rest of the room. A cozy queen bed and large TV screen hanging from the corner wall make this room perfect for snuggling in bed. Since it’s on the courtyard side it’s extra quiet.
An adjoining bathroom with two doors makes it convenient for both those sleeping in the master bedroom and for those sleeping in the second bedroom since the second door gives on to the hallway. The bathroom has an Italian style shower as well as a separate washer and dryer.
Further up the hallway is the second bedroom, furnished with a queen bed and day bed as well as a second TV which can swivel towards either bed. This bedroom, with double glazed windows, looks out over rue de Buci.
Adjacent to the second bedroom is the living room. Furnished with a comfy Catherine Memmi sofa bed and two leather chairs, large abstract paintings hang from its olive-grey textured walls. Tall African masks, dim lighting and unique furniture in earthy colors adorn the room, making it peaceful, a place you want to come home to and relax. Two large French windows, with a view of the rooftops across the street, open up over rue de Buci.
The dining room is set back in a nook and is both cozy and stylish. The designer table, again by Catherine Memmi, can seat up to 7 people. A milk bottle chandelier by the Dutch design company Droog is suspended over the table, giving unique lighting. It’s definitely a conversation piece!
The kitchen is located back down a narrow corridor past the entry hall. Small and Parisian-style, it has a window so you can wash the dishes while looking out over the courtyard and across to other apartment windows! Even though small, the kitchen has it all: a large refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher, over, stove, and microwave.
This apartment has it all. Come enjoy the ultimate Parisian experience!
This apartment requires a "Meet and Greet" - guests will be met at the apartment and given keys at that time.
