Comments:The town is an excellent base for visiting the area. The Stone Manor exceeded our expectations and we had six people staying very comfortably. The house was exceptionally well equipped for an extended stay. The house was "walk in walk out" with all facilities you need as either a short stay or a long stay guest. The town itself is small with a population of 1500 or so,a small supermarket ( with a larger supermarket just a short drive in a nearby larger town), a couple of petrol stations, and two 12th Century remnants- a small local church and a small chateau ( destroyed in 100 years war).There are a couple of local restaurants available inThenon and many other restaurants within a short drive of the town.All very convenient as a base. Our stay in the Dordogne was a voyage of discovery. We loved the food and wines but also the history and pre-history associated with the area The scenery was breathtaking.Our friends and ourselves thoroughly enjoyed staying in your cottage and exploring

Comments:Marc and Tim' s house is absolutely amazing !!! It's the DREAM HOUSE ! It's very big and tastefully furnished in a peaceful environment. The living-room is so comfortable and cosy, the kitchen is equipped for a chef, The bedrooms are spacious, not to mention the softness of the sheets...There's nothing wrong, really...
