This sophisticated and animated neighborhood on the left bank is very central and will allow you to experience a true residential Parisian living in elegant settings. When locating in Paris it is important to be in an area which offers easy access to the splendid bakeries, cheese and wine shops, boutique chocolate stores and a fresh produce/flower markets. These are all literally outside you door! You also have a major metro line just one-half block away, plus a convenient bus-stop in front. There is even a permanent Taxi stand next door.

Don’t feel like cooking this evening? Downstairs in the same building you have Max’s restaurant, a Parisian traditional bistro, where you will not feel pressured to have a 3 course meal, but can have a main dish (large portions!) plus a glass of wine, for about 21 euros. This hearty-cuisine style bistro is really known only to locals, since it is not in the guidebooks, but yours to enjoy as an ‘insider-resident ’. Wander around the labyrinth of small streets of this 18th-20th century area, to marvel at the architecture, cut-stone sculptured buildings, which are not revealed in the well-trodden tourist treks, shown in most guide books.

You will enjoy the contrast of staying in a smaller cozy 1870’s building, and an elegant home which has been completely renovated inside with high-quality materials and furnishings.
