Rue Montorgueil itself is a vibrant area with an abundance of street side cafes and market stalls - embodying the essence of authentic Parisian life. The apartment is located on a quiet pedestrian-only less than a block away.

This stylish apartment is located in the heart of the Montorgueil area in the 2^nd arrondissement on quiet and charming pedestrian street (rue St. Sauveur). Located in a classic 18^th century building, the apartment is on the 3^rd floor (no elevator). The 40 m² space with high ceilings and exposed wooden beams, gives the apartment a lofty feeling. This feeling is emphasized by the flood of ambient light from the two large windows in the living room and another two in the bedroom. 

The apartment accommodates up to four persons, two sleeping in the queen size bed in the bedroom and two in the designer queen size sofa bed in the living room. The high quality furnishing are new (2003). The kitchen is a fully equipped "American kitchen" suitable for preparing a dinner from scratch or just reheating some prepared entrees purchased from the specialty shops along rue Montorgueil. 

The bathroom has a bathtub and double headed shower and is separated from the rest of a flat by a sliding door door. The apartment is owned by a professional photographer who plans to display several of his pieces in the apartment.
