Hi Donna,
We LOVED the apartment in the Marais, and dealing with your agency was a dream! We got back Saturday night and Sunday and Monday (July 4) were out of the question as far as the Post Office was concerned. Today I had to wait around all day for AT&T to come fix our internet service. Tomorrow I'll send the key--promise!

It was so nice to be able to talk to you on the phone and to pay in dollars in advance. All the information about getting to and using the apartment was so thorough, and the property was so nice. Morgan (I think that was his name) called to make sure we'd made it in OK and to let us know he was around if we needed anything. It was all an excellent experience!

After some 'dubious' accommodations in Rome, some 'varied' rooms in Athens and the islands, and some adequate" apartments in Paris on previous trips, rue Pecquay was an absolute delight. Clean, bright, great location (awesome patisserie in particular) and a very friendly building. We really needed this oasis and were so thankful for it. We agree with the sentiments of previous visitors to the apartment and suggest also checking out the rue des Rosiers et Vieille du Temple -particularly at night. "Perfect location"
This apartment was in a perfect lively location. The Metro was only a two minute walk and there were lots of cafes and mini markets within easy walking district. The district was lively and felt very safe even late at night. The locals were polite and very helpful. We were always met with a Bonjour whenever we walked up the stairs and saw other residents. At night (despite one party on a Saturday night which can be forgiven) the apartment block was very quiet. There was very little street noise late at night. There are plenty of ATM close by. The apartment was very nice and the condition of the rooms was excellent. The bathroom was very spacious and washing machine was very handy. We felt immediately at home in the apartment and there was nothing we needed that was not already there. The apartment was spotlessly clean. The lounge room was spacious and a great way to unwind after a long day. We would easily return to this apartment without hesitation and plan to! After walking around most districts of Paris clearly the Marais district is the best location to stay and make your base to explore Paris.
