One of the best locations in Paris,
right in the heart of it all, and yet better still, with transport
just close by…(metro St. Germain des Pres or Mabillon only a 2-3
minute stroll)… This is a superb flat, newly renovated (April 2009)
with tasteful decoration, large living spaces and air conditioned
bedrooms, two bathrooms and set on a quiet courtyard with green ivy
gracefully framing the windows…Some of you may recognize the St.
Sulpice location from its mention in the Da Vinci Code…

Typical of this area, the building dates back to circa 1600's, with
all wooden structures, for which the Owners have re-exposed the
ceiling beams and vertical wall supports, to add lots of character. It
is on the third floor, (no elevator stairs only). They spared no
expense in assuring quality renovations, with a very modern kitchen,
renovated ceramic tile floors, over-sized king beds in both bedrooms
(which can also be split into twin beds) and quality craftsmanship
throughout.

Simply a large, (66 m2 or 710 sq. ft.) very comfortable
apartment, with furnished with exquisite taste, from which you can
explore all of Paris, with most major sites only a short walk; the
Louvre is just across the Seine about 10-12 minutes, the d’Orsay
Museum only 5 more minutes, the St. Michel area is only 10 minutes
away as well, and the island just another couple of minutes more. Of
course you are in the heart of St. Germain, probably the favorite
neighborhood for most visitors, with so many shops and bistros, cafes
and the busy boulevard by the same name. This is a lively spot and
although the apartment is three flights above the street, some may
find it too noisy. Even the famed Luxembourg
gardens are only a short stroll of approx. 4 minutes…
This fine property offers great versatility in sleeping
configurations. The two bedrooms can be made up with four twin beds,
or two king size beds, or any way you wish! There is a queen size
foldout sofa sleeper in the living room, which is of excellent quality
with a thick mattress to ensure a comfortable rest. This means a total
of 6 adults can easily stay here and enjoy lots of space and
comfortable sleeping arrangements. There are also large and plentiful
closets in the 2 bedrooms, for not only clothes but to store your
luggage as well. Likewise, the two bathrooms provide flexibility of
use as well; one bedroom has its own ‘en-suite’ large bathroom with
shower, sink and towel warmer and sink. The other bathroom has a large
shower as well, towel warmer and is most conveniently located near the
entryway, making it easily accessible by guests in the second bedroom
or anyone using the living room sofa-sleeper. Please note there is
only one WC, however it is independent (separate from the bathrooms)
and is also near the entryway, for easy access by any of the guests.
Appointed with several relaxing leather club chairs, decorator hand
made drapes, recessed lighting, a modern style dining table and coffee
table in the living room, an ‘ open kitchen’ with counter-top,
separate entry way, new-modern style bathrooms, a few choice pieces of
antique furniture and high ceilings, this fine home is sure to please
even the demanding guests!
NOTE: the owners of this property also own
VIP Property ID 129 which is just a
short 2 minute walk away. Together, these two properties will
accommodate up to 11 persons.
