Quiet studio/great locations

What a wonderful area for this lovely small studio of approximately 17 m2 (about 180 sq feet). Near to many attractions in the heart of the Marais, it is quite central and easy to get about from here. It is near a little known gem of a lively picture-like square, St. Catherine’s Place, lined with bistros, restaurants and lots of trees to sit under and people watch. It is also just a 10-minute walk to Ile St. Louis and the Seine river.

With space for two adults, this Paris short term studio rental is all you need for a great stay in Paris. One of the best features is the ample large windows which face out to a quiet courtyard, providing lots of light and a tranquil atmosphere in nice weather if you wish to open the windows wide. 

Located on the 4th floor with stairs only - no elevator, and do note there are a few more stairs once inside the apartment as well - the building is well maintained and has two security doors at ground level. When you enter the apartment, there is a small corridor with the bathroom and further along the main room (studio). The sofa bed is double size and quite comfortable. There is room to leave it open in the bed position all the time if you wish, or simply fold it up to sofa/couch position.

The ‘kitchenette’ is small (hidden behind cabinet doors), yet quite functional. It offers a sink, microwave, 2-burner stovetop, and coffee maker. There is also a small desk and place to use your laptop if you wish, a good size closet for hanging clothes, and ample storage shelves for other items. Additional amenities include a TV (with English news stations), Wi-Fi Internet access and a telephone.

There are lots of great bakeries and stores nearby, plus crepe places and even the old Jewish quarter with all of its delicacies! Transport is only a 5-minute stroll to Metro Line #1, which goes directly to the Louvre, Concorde, Champs d’Elysees, etc…


If you are only two people and are looking for a great area, plus want a relaxing stay in a comfortable quiet place, this is a great option for you!

We have just spent two weeks in a very comfortable studio in Le Marais, one of the oldest and most charming areas in Paris. The studio is naturally bright, having three full length windows. Internet access, as well as TV and telephone are included. Most important, metro St Paul, cafes, and all shopping needs are close by.
