What a fun and jazzy apartment! Newly renovated from head to toe in June 2011, it offers a great mixture of classic features like an old exposed stonewall in the bedroom, and quality 60’s -70’s style furniture. The kitchen has ultra modern sleek appliances, likewise for the bathroom, with lots of pop-art decorations adorning the walls. It is guaranteed to be fun and enjoyable for young kids and old kids, even very old kids(!), yet is quiet and very comfortable as well. Located on the ground floor, the window out to the street is a bit higher than usual, because one goes up a couple of steps to enter the building itself. The windows are double paned for extra soundproofing, although while it is a one way street, it is mostly filled with pedestrians. There are also wooden shutters to close at nighttime, which provide even more sound protection and extra security, although this area like most of Paris is very safe!

The bedroom has a very comfortable double size bed with individual reading lights, and in fact, a bunch of other ‘fun lights and cubby holes’ to discover. Some of the lights can be adjusted to change moods with different colors/shades! The bathroom has a large ‘transparent’ shower, all custom made glass enclosure, with a rainfall setting. It is located off the bedroom with WC and sink. There’s plenty of closet space in this generous size bedroom. The kitchen is open to the living area, with a counter space and 2 high stools. There is a small round dining table in living room as well. You have everything you need to cook or just reheat items, including an oven, stovetop and microwave. There is a combo washer/dryer as well. A third person can sleep on the single size living room sofa; not a pull out or fold down, but it is of generous size and comfortable to sleep on - linens provided.

While you probably will be going everyday to central Paris, remember just 15-20 minutes away, don’t forget to allow some time to explore the Montmartre area, it will surprise you!
