Newly renovated one bedroom (2010) located in the 3rd
district in the upper Marais. A stylish one bedroom of about 30 m2
(310 sq. ft.) with an independent kitchen and bathroom. It has a
great design and all you need to relax after a day in Paris.

Your apartment is very close to good transportation, with the metro
stop of Arts et Metier or Republique being only a short 6 minute walk.
This is line 3 which take you directly to Opera (2 stops) and line 11
that takes you to the Pompidou Center (1 stop) for example. Great bus
service is nearby, with the Louvre just minutes away once aboard.
The main room provides a great quiet space in the facing onto two
separate courtyards. During the day, the room is bathed in light from
windows on all sides. In the evenings, you can pull up your chairs to
plan your next day’s adventures while remembering the great
sightseeing of the day! The main room has a comfortable sofa, and a
dining table with seating for up to 4 people. For sleeping, the sofa
pulls out to make a double size beds (this is not a futon bed, but a
fold-out, spring mattress beds that is of excellent quality and
comfortable.) The bedroom has a double bed and two sliding doors
that lead into it. It has wardrobes and bedside lights so you can read
a good book in bed. It faces onto a quiet courtyard.
The kitchen is very well equipped to cook a three course meal (made
with fresh ingredients purchased 12 minutes walk in the pedestrian
market street of Montorgueil or the open market of Les enfants Rouges)
or simply reheat take-away dishes from nearby restaurants. There is a
two-burner stovetop plus a combo microwave-grill-oven, an
under-the-counter refrigerator/freezer, a dishwasher and even a
clothes washing machine.
Even if you have never stayed in this trendy area, you must have
heard talk of the rue Montorgueil pedestrian-friendly market area,
which so many visitors flock to and find delightful. It has a village
atmosphere, and you can join the locals as they go about their daily
rounds of fresh produce shopping and greet their preferred
storekeepers by name. The stores are even open Sunday mornings when
almost all other Parisian stores are closed. What a delightful area it
is to shop! The farmers’ market bursts and overflows with colors of
all the fruit and vegetable stands, small coffee shops, great
restaurants. Each local has their favorite bakery they frequent, you
can try them all to get your croissants for breakfast and baguettes
for dinner! Your in-house guidebook will reveal some of the best
places to shop for daily provisions!
Come stay here with 2 or 4 people and be charmed by this stylish,
comfortable and practical place of repose where you can live like a
Parisian!

Bonjour, We loved this beautiful
apartment in the Marais. There is a Fodors Guide Book on the
bookshelf, which happened to be useful in many ways. The fan
in the closet also kept us cool during the hot summer days. On
Rue Du Temple there are many convenient patisseries that
provide a nice breakfast. Nest to Square du Temple on Rue de
Bretagne is Chez Omar, a nice dinner café that is money savvy
and a great choice. Republique Square has many great
restaurants. The Crown Plaza hotel in Republique Square
concierge helped us with tour tickets. Again, this apartment
will cater to all your needs.

Bonjour! We are the Barry’s from
Australia traveling for the first time through Europe with our
teenagers.
Our Marais Art et Metiers one bedroom
apartment was magnificent, a real home away from home. We have
enjoyed our one-week stay and we loved Paris.
We
frequented all the top attractions. Your guidebooks were very
useful. Sometime, you too should have coffee or lunch with the
locals in the basement of De La Madelaine. Everyone was very
friendly.
