This lovely one bedroom apartment was totally renovated. The transformation was featured in the November December issue of Maison et Travaux. From several small rooms a nicely appointed one bedroom has been created with a comfortable modern kitchen and living room area separated from the one bedroom and nicely sized bathroom with large shower, toilet and sink. The owners love of books is reflected by the tasteful bookshelves lining many of the apartment walls. Another inviting feature are the large windows looking out over the quiet courtyard. Be sure to step out of the large balcony running along the entire side of the apartment. A coffee or late afternoon drink there will be much enjoyed while planning your next sightseeing stop during your stay in Paris. Perhaps you will have a bit of that Poilane bread or buy some of the famous macaroons available just a short distance from the apartment.

The apartment is located on the 5^th floor with no elevator but once you have arrived with the bags to discover this tastefully renovated apartment with its large balcony you will be delighted with your choice. No jogging required to enjoy the delectable cafes and food shops in this area! The apartment is ideal for two adults and one child as the sofa bed is best suited to either one child or two smaller children. An extra mattress can be provided upon request for another child if required. The well equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, oven and much more if you wish to try your hand at some cooking while there. The well sized bathroom is located through the bedroom. It has a large shower with hand held shower nozzle, toilet and sink. The apartment also has a hairdryer and iron so you do not need to bring these along! There is also a washer dryer if needed during your stay.

Dear Richard, We've been back from Paris for almost a week and I wanted to give you a review of the apartment. It was great! The location was super, in a very chic neighborhood just a couple of blocks from St. Germain. The stairs were a workout but resulted in a nice view of the rooftops of the 6th. The apartment itself was beautifully decorated. Books galore! Shiny appliances and cabinetry. High ceilings and lots of light. We appreciated the wireless internet connection as well. We also discovered a cluster of small bistros of all sorts, all packed with locals, on and around Rue Guisarde, just a 5 minute walk from the apartment. Overall, we had a fantastic stay in Paris and this apartment was a big plus. Thanks again for giving us the opportunity to stay here. I would stay here again! Beautiful with plenty of space, ultra-comfortable bed, fab bathroom, radiators and all other appliances were new & worked perfectly, excellent coffee making items, plenty of general house wares, very clean sofa & linens and a beautiful roof-top view. The apartment could use an additional mirror (perhaps on the inside of the closet) and the sofa is placed so that you hit your head on the bookcase every time you sit down - unless your careful! The apartment is perfectly located near the St. Sulpice metro and the neighborhood couldn't have been more lovely. Shopping, boulangeries, cafes & restaurants, weekend food markets...it's all right outside the door. I miss it as I'm writing about it! The manager was also very nice and so friendly. If Richard is the owner, then we spoke to him. We weren't anticipating him and because we didn't see his name as a contact on the paperwork, we didn't let him into the apartment! We had no trouble at all during our stay, but he told us what apartment he lived in within the building, should we need anything. He was very nice and eager to please. I think I covered everything above, but I will say again how wonderful the apartment was. The lack of elevator may deter some people from renting, but the apartment was so lovely and historic, we'll rent it again and/or use your service again when we return.
