This apartment is in a typical 19^th century Paris building, and offers guests high standards in an excellent location at a reasonable nightly rate.  The apartment is situated on the European second floor serviced by an elevator.  The apartment faces both the street and courtyard; the street (rue Herold) is small with little traffic and no noise problem.

The apartment, at 45 square meters, is compact like most central apartments in Paris.  There is an entry way with the bathroom (shower/toilet/sink) to the left and straight on leads to the living area, with a small kitchen that opens onto the main living area.  The bedrooms are off to the right from the entry and living area, one facing the courtyard and the other the street.  One bedroom has a double bed, a second bedroom has two single beds, and the living area also has a fold out sofa bed that sleeps two.  All beds, including the sofa bed, are brand new and of good quality ensuring a good night’s rest.

The kitchen area includes electric burners, a small fridge, a washer machine, and other basic kitchen necessities.

This apartment is in the heart of the Paris -  very close to Place des Victoires - an excellent location to take advantage of Paris on foot and to discover some of the quaintest, fashionable and most historic quarters of the French capital.    A two bedroom apartment in this area of town, at this price, is extremely rare, allowing a small group to enjoy the privacy of two bedrooms at a reasonable nightly rate per person.

Locals do all their shopping in the exciting rue Montorgueil pedestrian street filled with bakeries, butcher, fruit, vegetable and cheese shops, cafes and grocery stores.  You can do all of your shopping in this street, as well as enjoy one of the many outdoor cafes or restaurants. 

 Within ten minutes of the apartment you can be at  the Louvre Museum, the Palais Royal and its gardens (great for kids), the covered shopping galleries (Vivienne/Colbert), the chic shopping street rue Saint Honoré and so much more.  The Marais and Latin Quarter are only 15 minutes away on foot, as is the newly renovated Pompidou/Beaubourg Centre.
