Charmingly delightful!
|
Newly renovated studio (November 2008) with an unbeatable
location in the heart of the Rue Cler / 7th district near the Eiffel
Tower. A stylish studio of about 25 m2 (260 sq. ft.) with
an independent kitchen and bathroom. It has a great design and
everything you need to relax after a day in Paris.

Your apartment is very close to good transportation, with the metro
stop of La Tour Maubourg or Ecole Militaire being only a short 5-6
minute walk. This is line 8 which take you directly to Concorde (2
stops) and Opera (4 stops) for example. Great bus service is nearby,
with the Invalides just 2 minutes away once aboard.
The main room provides a great space for everyone to sit and make
plans for your next day’s adventures while remembering the great
sightseeing of the day! It has two large comfortable sofas, and a
dining table with seating for up to 4 people. The windows are large
and allow an open view with lots of light coming in. For sleeping,
the sofas pull-out to make two double size beds (these are not futon
beds, but fold-out, spring mattress beds that are excellent quality
and comfortable.)
The kitchen is a very well equipped ‘galley’ type with all the
appliances of a kitchen twice the size -- there is enough counter
space to cook a three course meal (made with fresh ingredients
purchased in the pedestrian market street just down the street) or
simply reheat take-away dishes from nearby restaurants. There is a
two-burner stovetop plus a combo oven-microwave, an
under-the-counter refrigerator/freezer, a dishwasher and even a
clothes washing machine/dryer.
Even if you have never stayed in this great area, you must have
heard talk of the rue Cler pedestrian-friendly market area, which so
many visitors flock to and find delightful. Author and travel guru
Rick Steve’s extols this neighborhood for its true Parisian quality
and village atmosphere, where the locals go about their daily rounds
of fresh produce shopping and know their preferred storekeepers by
name. The stores are even open Sunday mornings when almost all other
Parisian stores are closed. What a delightful area it is to shop!
The farmers’ market bursts and overflows with colors of all the
fruit and vegetable stands, small coffee shops, great restaurants
plus at least 3 chocolate shops to choose from in the immediate
area! Each local has their favorite bakery they frequent, you can
try them all to get your croissants for breakfast and baguettes for
dinner! Your in-house guidebook will reveal some of the best places
to shop for daily provisions with many of the best food stores in
Paris just a short walk! Come stay here with 2 or up to 4 people and
be charmed by this stylish, comfortable and practical place of
repose where you can live like a Parisian!
