This is a great handsome flat, with lots of light, many large windows for every room, peaceful, quiet and on the 4^th floor (with an elevator). The property owners are diplomats and have done a superb job in decorating it with very handsome and interesting pieces and furniture, which we are sure you will find most comfortable. At 65 m², it is one of our largest one bedroom apartment (approx. 700 sq feet).  While not a true 2 bedroom, it does have permanent twins beds in a small “ alcove” off the main living room, which does make for a small “cozy corner” ( but not complete privacy). With an enclosed kitchen, extra large living room and plenty of space for up to 4 adults..

A very central location (smack in the center of the Paris map!) where one of the best features is easy walking distance to so many attractions- the fascinating modern Art Museum at Pompidou is just a 4 minute stroll, the Hotel de Ville (Paris City Hall and the Mayor's residence), and river Seine is about 6-7 minutes, and just across the river from them is the glorious Notre Dame cathedral, with free organ music recitals on weekends! Or you can walk easily to the Louvre in about 12-14 minutes, or discover the newly unveiled Tour St. Jacques, which underwent several years of restoration. Tour St-Jacques is in the late gothic style and was built in 1523. It is all that is left of an ancient church. The rest of the church was destroyed after the French Revolution. The Tower was used by the French physicist Blaise Pascal in the 17^th Century for his experiments with barometers. There is a monument to him inside the tower. It is set at the crossroads established by the Romans.

Inside this vacation rental you'll find a double size bed in the bedroom and in the sejour there are two separate twin beds (note- it is not possible to combine them into one bed). The sofa in the living room is extra large and perfect for everyone to relax and relate the day’s adventures. There is a large glass dining table for 6 people, with plenty of cook ware and supplies, in the well-equipped kitchen, should you wish to make a full meal.

If you are looking for a centrally located handsome flat, that is quiet and provides lots of light and assured comfort, we are sure you will enjoy this beautiful home… even if you don’t care for Modern Art, do make sure to go to the top of the Pompidou restaurant, “ Georges” to enjoy a drink, a meal and most of all the absolutely gorgeous view out over Paris!
