It is just a few blocks from the Pont de L’Alma over the Seine, the impressive new Musee de Quai Branly and the lively Rue St. Dominique. The no. 42 bus stops at the front door ready to take you to l’Opera, Galleries Lafayette and beyond. The no. 69 bus is just a few blocks away. It will take you from the Eiffel Tower past so many landmarks that a ride is a sightseeing tour in itself—Musee D’Orsay, the Louvre, the Hotel de Ville, the Bastille, and Pere LaChaise Cemetery.
