How about trying a completely new area of Paris that is the Right Bank’s answer
to the more-known ‘Rue de Bac’ shopping area? This is a great area, central and
easy access to most major attractions, yet in a ‘not-so discovered’ and less
touristy neighborhood. We guarantee even some of our repeat guests will be
amazed at all the specialty shops and boutiques that line both sides of nearby
Rue de Bretagne! Great chocolate stores, bakeries, fresh fruit and vegetable
markets, flower stalls and all you would need for a home cooked meal like
butchers, cheese shops, etc and of course plenty of great Cafes and Restos to
boot!
 In the center of three Metro lines to choose from, Republique, Temple, and
Filles de Calvaire, (lines 3, 8, 9, 11) you can be whisked to any place in Paris
quickly.
A very nice and comfortable flat, with 38 sq meters (approx. 400 sq ft) of space
between the bedroom, living room and American style –open kitchen, and it
features an extra large shower. The bedroom has a double size bed and the living
room features a comfortable double sized sofa-sleeper. Note: while there is a
large ‘rock-wall’ that separates the bedroom from the living room, the passage
way is open and not with a true ‘ door’, (there is a heavy
curtain to enclose the bedroom area).
This is a quiet flat, up on the second European floor, (stairs
only, no elevator) with three large windows that are double-glazed for
extra soundproofing. It faces out to a quiet courtyard and does get
good light inside.
The small kitchen is equipped with most all you need (see amenities
below) - a
two burner stove top, a microwave oven, a small toaster oven, a coffee maker, a kettle, an under-counter
refrigerator and
enough plates & cutlery for 4 people. There is a high kitchen counter with 4
high bar type stools. The bathroom has
an extra large, the WC is inside the bathroom (not separated). There is even
a generous amount of built-in closet space as well.
Come and discover a ‘new’ area of Paris, with chic new shopping and browsing
areas, yet so central with easy transport to all of Paris… Come and live both
with and like the locals!

affordable price, perfect location and beautiful apartment what else
is there to ask for? The apartment was very well located, close to
many metro stops and a short walk from the fun Marais district. The
apartment itself was spotlessly clean with beautiful furnishings and
wonderful appliances and electronics. We especially appreciated the
stereo and washing machine! We spoke to Mr Peltier briefly when he
phoned the apartment and he was very nice! The only problem is we
could not telephone him, we got a recorded message saying the phone
number was not valid. However, US office for Apartment in Paris was
very available and helpful, so we had no problems. I will certainly
come back to VIP for my future vacations to Paris! Thanks so much
for everything, the ease and responsiveness of reservation and the

The apartment is very cute and well supplied with everything we
needed. We easily walked to the museums, cafes, and bars in the
Marais, and the nearby metro station brought us everywhere in the city
efficiently. It was so nice to come home to this quiet apartment every
night.

Everything was great in this charming apartment,
in this wonderful neighborhood. Belgian beer lovers should definitely
check out an Trappiste by the Chatevet Metro station. Sacre Couer was
a little touristy, but the neighborhood around it was really cool.
Pinacotheque is a cool little museum, even though they’re not on the
museum pass, and the Boulanaere around the corner (on the cross
street) is really good and reasonable. You need to get there early
thought. Place de Vosages is worth taking a walk down rue de Turenne,
really great park, nice stores and great places to eat. If the
one we left is gone, you’d be wise to get the laminated “streetwise
Paris” map. It’s fantastically helpful.
