What a wonderful and comfortable place to spend a great week in Paris! The owner of this 30 m² one bedroom apt has really done this up very nicely, with lots of amenities, in a quiet courtyard and interesting area…

We think the words “Cute and Charming” fully describe this well looked-after place, which is a typical Parisian apartment with modern appliances and comforts yet the owner has conserved the charm. It is very conveniently located just a 2 minute walk to the nearest Metro- Louis Blanc on line 7, which for those of you arriving by Eurostar, is a comfortable walk from Gare du Nord. This Metro line takes you directly to sites such as the Opera, (that’s where the famed shopping center of Galleries Lafayette is located), the Louvre (the Metro stop is actually underneath the Louvre for easy access) and the very center of Paris- Chatelet. From here you are an easy stroll to most all of Paris’ famed monuments and locations (Notre Dame, St. Germain, St. Michel, etc). The apartment is close to a beautiful neighborhood which many visitors to Paris sometimes overlook, the Canal St. Martin where you can stroll along this ‘side-river’s ‘ tree-lined banks or even take a special boat cruise through its series of locks. Just outside the building’s doors are many shops and specialty stores like bakeries, grocery stores, cafes, etc…. many to choose from!

The flat sleeps up to three adults comfortably, or a couple and two young children on the living room pull-out sleeper. It has a well-equipped kitchen for most avid cooks (see amenities section below) a counter-top plus small dining table for two. The bathroom has a modern shower, is very well lighted and the WC is conveniently separated into a small room of its own.

High ceilings and several windows make for a roomy feeling, with lots of closet space in the bedroom as well. It is only one floor up (no elevator) and located at the far back end of a quiet courtyard, (you will quickly forget the bustling street as you walk through your tranquil courtyard entrance).
