Everything is new and just fully renovated (August 2007) and has been carefully planned-out to fit in almost all the normal amenities and even extras you would find in a larger place.

You will have a kitchen corner with stove and microwave oven, sink plus frig, with plenty of plates/dishes and cooking ware, you have a double size fold down bed (it is sofa for daytime use) plus any grown child or teenager can use the single bed which is just a few steps up on a platform/mezzanine structure, plus full bathroom with shower and WC. There is WiFi or cable connection for your laptop and as an added plus, and to make the place feel larger, there is a large doubled paned combo picture window/sliding glass door, which has an unobstructed view (building across the courtyard and not immediately in front), which guarantees lots of light and fresh air. All of this in just 13 m² of space (approx. 140 sq feet). For the layout it is basically a long, somewhat narrow room, with a door that divides the entry way and bathroom areas, from the living/sleeping/kitchen areas. It is located on the 4th floor with elevator, or a slightly more modern building that is maintained well and has excellent security (although Paris is very safe!).

This is a great area, just next to the fast-becoming Chic/Trendy area of Canal St. Martin, the man-made tributary that was constructed to allow cargo boats to make a short-cut through Paris and avoid the winding river Seine. Its tree-lined banks and system of locks makes for a superb strolling and relaxing neighborhood to explore. In the past few years many new Restaurants and Cafes, eateries have been opening to serve those who are always looking for the hip and cool places to visit and enjoy. The nearest metro stop, Louis Blanc, is just a 5-6 minute walk away.

The property owners have put in some good quality items such as flat screen TV, and even WiFi and free local telephone calling.
