Purported to be the Paris’ oldest restaurant, Le Procope opened in 1689 and is just a few doors down from this great newly renovated (August 2007) one bedroom apartment . The likes of Benjamin Franklin and other dignitaries such as: Voltaire, Rousseau and Diderot all dined here. This is central Paris at its best! Just a few steps to the flower & farmers market of rue Buci, right in the heart of St. Germain and close to transport. From here you can walk to just about everything! Notre Dame, the Louvre, the River Seine, boulevard St. Germain, Luxembourg gardens, etc. You can do all you food shopping directly on rue Buci, discover all the great bakeries and of course take long leisurely people-watching rests at the many Cafes and restaurants nearby.

This is a quiet, tastefully renovated flat, of 30 m², (about 320 sq feet) done with charm and style. It has a separate bedroom and features an air conditioner unit that can be placed in either the bedroom or living room/kitchen area (plus a fan). It has a washer/dryer and fully equipped kitchen. On the first floor (stairs only, no elevator), it is a secure building with double security entry doors (although Paris is quite safe!). The Odeon metro is only 3 minutes by foot, and just further is the RER line C (taking you to Versailles , Musee D’Orsay, etc). The bedroom has a Queen sized comfortable bed and the living room has a comfortable fold-out double sized sleeper- actually just shy of a queen sized bed.
