Still very central and close to transportation, it is located in a residential neighborhood between Bastille and Gare du Lyon. You can choose either metro lines 1 or 8 to whisk you to most major sights in Paris.

The flat boasts almost 500 sq. ft. of space, is on the 6th floor with an elevator and features a great balcony/terrace where you can sit outside to take in the sweeping views. Being on the 6th floor and not having another building directly in front, gives it a very open feeling and provides lots of light in the place.

There is a quite large living room, tastefully decorated, and an extension into the dining room which has a table large enough for six. The owners have taken a lot of care to decorate it with personal touches, not off-the-shelf pictures or paintings. A great red-leather couch in the living room is quite inviting and relaxing. The superb art-deco arm chair even more-so!

The kitchen is complete with most items; do note that there is only a large microwave and not an oven however. But cook away in the well-appointed kitchen on the 4 burner stove having a wide range of heat variables.

The bedroom is large and there is plenty of room to put away suitcases, so you feel moved-in. The bed is very comfortable, and is a queen size bed. The bedroom faces out on the backside to a quiet courtyard. Do note they have left in the decorative antique heating furnace, which was used originally in these older buildings.

You will be close to many of the shops and stores you look for to buy your everyday needs like bakeries, butchers, etc. There is even a nice café in the building on the ground floor, to sip coffee and chat with the “ real” locals! Come and enjoy this special area… the Owners had previously lived near the Eiffel Tower and fell in love with this authentic atmosphere and we sure you will too!
