Rue St. Croix is a darling street with wonderful shops and the best Gelato at Amarino, not to be missed; it’s the best way to end an evening stroll home to your apartment. The owners have undertaken a complete floor to ceiling renovation and have transformed this lovely space into a two bedroom and one bath apartment with quality furnishings and finishes. During the renovation, no detail was overlooked, not only are the kitchen, bathroom and water closet all new, but also all systems have been updated, electrical, plumbing and heating. The new furniture and décor have been selected by the owner who is also a designer. If you love to feel at home while traveling, this place will feel like your own Paris apartment.

The apartment faces a large peaceful courtyard with off-street exposure, assuring restorative nights sleep. Speaking of sleep, the beds and linens are new as well. The sheets are 460-thread count, Egyptian cotton, coupled with custom embroidered linens. With 52 m2 of space (approximately 560 sq. ft.), there is plenty of room for all.

The apartment features 2 full bedrooms, the master with a queen size bed and the second with two twin beds, that can be put together if you desire. Additionally, there is be a full size sofa-sleeper in the living room that sleeps two. For your convenience the half -bath has separate entrance (a WC with sink + mirror). The bathroom has a towel warmer and all small electronic needs have been provided – hairdryer, curling iron and straightening iron. The walk-in shower boasts a refreshing pan showerhead for your comfort.

The Owners themselves use this chic apartment when they are able to visit Paris, so they want to ensure it is fully equipped with everything you need. If you love music – be sure to bring your IPOD, there is a docking station with surround sound for your tunes. For your communication needs there is both an apartment phone with free local incoming and outgoing calls, as well as a rechargeable cellular phone to use while you are enjoying the city of Paris. The apartment also give the guest Internet access with WIFI for your computer.

The kitchen is an open or “American Style”, facing out to the living room, for ease of access and a spacious feeling where everyone can gather in the combined rooms. The kitchen is fully equipped with all updated appliances as well as a dishwasher. The barware, dishes and serving ware insures that if you want to shop the wonderful markets you can prepare your gourmet meal here.

The apartment is safe and secure, with digi-code access and in a safe neighborhood. If you like to shop, discover art, or eat like royalty you will love the Marais. The apartment is in the middle of many key attractions- The Pompidou Center, Hotel de Ville and Place de Vosges flank the apartment with Notre Dame cathedral just a 5-minute stroll (we timed ourselves)! There are wonderful galleries, design shops, clothing and restaurants just steps from this apartment, always lively and happening.

The nearest metro stop is just a few minutes away, on line 1 at Hotel de Ville. This is the central line that will take you quickly to most major attractions in Paris. Besides discovering (or ‘re-discovering’!) the fabulous Marais district, with all it specialty shops and great cafes, you are just a few minutes stroll to the Louvre and Picasso Museum. Along the Seine remember to visit the “ bookenists” that open their metal ‘armoires’ to reveal the treasures of old and antique books, magazines, post cards and some odd knick-knacks!
