Designed (and paid for) by the Medici family from Italy, these Gardens actually form part of the French Republic’s Senate grounds and are therefore enclosed/gated, to be open only during the daytime. They are probably some of the most breathtakingly beautiful gardens in the world. From there, the short stroll to the heart of St. Germain des Pres area is one of our favorite walks in the city- through small alley ways lined with book-sellers and specialty stores.

You will be close to transport as the convenient Luxembourg RER stop is just a 3-minute walk from the apartment. This area is so convenient, with the busy student packed Latin Quarter just to one side, and the Mouffetard-Place Monge shopping are just beyond, and of course a straight shot to the grand St. Michel boulevard, which leads to the Seine, Notre Dame and beyond.
