If you love a charming, warm receptive atmosphere, where the decoration was definitely not done for tourists, but rather by an enchanting owner who is an Opera singer and travels the world to perform…. You will enter this romantic hideaway and almost be sure to imagine hearing French music coming from the walls,…. is it Edith Piaf? or Jacques Brel? Her own taste and sense of comfort define this lovely one bedroom apartment….

The magazines would describe this special place as ‘oozing with charm’… and would let you know that it is anything but modern (although the kitchen and bathroom have recently be re-done and outfitted with more modern appliances/conveniences) and even has some ‘ well worn places’, so don’t choose this one if you expect a Hilton Hotel room! The bedroom is of ample size with many closets and has a double size bed for 2 adults. There is a large window which opens to a very quiet courtyard… In the main living room, there is a fold-out sofa sleeper for either 1 adult or 2 children. This room includes 2 very large windows, again facing out to the quiet courtyard. You will not be bothered by traffic noise here, as it is an oasis of tranquility, hard to imagine that busy Montmartre is just outside your door….It is a quiet apartment where you can expect to rest and enjoy peaceful surroundings.

The kitchen is not ‘inside the living room,’ but rather separated by a short hallway and door, which makes it very nice to have these 2 areas apart. It has a washer/dryer, stovetop and microwave, large kitchen sink and plenty of countertop space for you to cook up meals for everyone!

The bathroom has a shower and includes the WC as well, with a separate sink and vanity.

This apartment is on the second floor (stairs only) of a beautiful old building, (enter in through a courtyard to access this building in the back) with well preserved areas like original old wooden stairs, which have carpet on them. The apartment is approx. 30 m² ( 322 sq ft) with high ceilings and includes a small entryway for coats, hats, umbrellas, etc…

Romantic charm, original paintings, many great books, dried flowers hanging on the wall, -you will swear you are living a Puccini Opera…. the echo of the voice you imagine to hear might even be the Owners’…!
