Step out onto the sidewalk from this Parisian one bedroom and you are in the ‘ haute couture’ , most expensive shopping area in the City ! A pair of shoes from Gucci for 900? A t-shirt from Valentino for 500? Luckily window shopping is FREE! Rue St. Honore is the “ Rodeo Drive” of Paris, with every big, famous fashion company located on it.


One bedroom St Honore Allure holiday rental

You are right in the middle/heart of Paris, just a stroll to Concorde, the Louvre, or Madeline, but because this apartment faces off the street and onto a courtyard, you will be in quiet surroundings.

This is a good size one bedroom 32 m2 (about 340 sq. ft.), located on the third floor (stairs only) with a double size bed in the bedroom and a newer comfortable sofa pull-out bed in the living room. There are several windows looking out to the courtyard. The kitchen is ‘ American style’ – open to the living room, with all the basics you need, including a washer and dryer. The bedroom does separate the sleeping area from the rest of the apartment but there is no door to the bedroom which does limit privacy. The floor is very typical in France, with the old style “tomettes” (red clay tiles). The bathroom has a good size shower, (the WC is conveniently separate in another room).

Being this central in Paris means having lots of transport nearby, like either the Line 1 metro at Concorde or Line 8 at Madeline. There are dozens of restaurants and bakeries nearby and the area is always teeming with action as one of Paris’s most well know streets. But if you’re considering coming to do some really serious shopping, make sure you – "don’t leave home without it"!

The location of the apartment was perfect! We could hear noise from the outside of the apartment a few times (we could never determine what this was) but this could not be classified as "too much", and this would not deter us from using the apartment again. The only real, yet minor, complaints that we had was that the kitchen sink faucet was a little loose, the toilet was slow to fill with water after flushing. BUT, as stated, these are minor complaints and, overall, our experience was wonderful!

We did find the bottle of wine, and we enjoyed it very much. We will return - Thanks!
