Situated in the great Marais area, just minutes walk to Pompidou, Les Halles, St Michel and also Place Vosges and even Notre Dame.


Studio Catherine holiday rental

This Parisian holiday rental property is 25 m2 (approximately 270 sq ft) and has both a double size bed as well as a sofa that pulls out to sleep two persons - same as double bed size. There is also a small table that folds out to accommodate 4 people. This apartment like the other features an “exposed natural rock wall” which provides a very charming and warm feeling. There are 2 large windows in the living room, with soundproofing double glass, although the street is usually calm. Also the third floor elevation with stairs only, ensures good light and away from any noise below.

The kitchen is separate which is very comfortable (closed off by a door) and also has a large window. There is a large amount of kitchen-counter space compared to most studios, and it includes a refrigerator, double stove top, microwave, coffeemaker, large sink and other amenities (see below for details).

This a great and central area, with transportation close by and many sights easily reachable by foot. This is the heart of the Right Bank, filled with so much energy and great people watching hotspots!

Beautiful studio was the icing on the cake!
I've been to Paris before, but won't go back without using Vacation in Paris! I booked the studio Catherine in Marais a few weeks before leaving, and received the keys to the apartment in plenty of time. Enclosed with the keys were very good instructions on how to reach the apartment. Once inside, the studio was very clean, and we found it to have everything we could have wanted (washer/dryer, cooking needs, even extra blankets and pillows), and a complimentary bottle of wine! The packet about the apartment which was waiting for us had excellent directions on connecting to the free Wi-Fi, how to use the washer/dryer, English speaking taxis, and directions to nearby markets and restaurants.

Words can't describe the convenience of having a "home base" when you travel. We were walking distance from the Notre Dame and Ile de la Cite and a few Metro stops (we mostly used Rambuteau). It was a little drizzly one day, so we stayed in and watched movies and made ourselves a lovely dinner. It was one of my favorite days there, and it really helped one of my friends who had never been to Europe before, feel comfortable and at home.
I would recommend Vacation in Paris to anyone and everyone and I can't wait until I can return to Paris and stay with them again!

I have sent the key to Apartment #133 (Rue Chapon in the Marais) back to you. As you instructed I insured it for $150.

We found the apartment great and just what we needed. I really appreciated your efficiency and thorough organization prior to my leaving. Over there we appreciated little touches like the bottle of wine, the log book and Paris guides in the apartment.

Thank you for making our holiday (I took my niece and nephew on this special trip) so comfortable and enjoyable. As my niece said “It makes the holiday even better when you have somewhere nice to come back to every night”.
